You are steamrolling through this! List updated, thanks~

Nope, that's great, thank you. As for the other thing, this really isn't the place to discuss it, but it really isn't fair to others to take requests like that. That's why the shop exists. If there are issues with that, we should discuss it in PM instead.

*Casually nudges us one step closer to the reveal of the new leader, DJ Arclight* Arc will be coming in for us when the league restarts, spinning both the beats and the beat-downs~

Oh, right, those aren't obtainable yet, is that right? We may have to wait until the release of Pokebank for those. There will be other Pokemon like that, too... But that's fine; they can be updated when the information does become available, and the game will continue on without them in the mean time. In those cases, please just note that the information is unavailable, as above.

@ Strider, I don't see why we wouldn't use a Gen V pack. They're, in general, higher quality than Gen IV and Gen VI is right out of the question. Also, that reverse absol is really well done; did you do that yourself or find it somewhere?

I'm not exactly sure how this is butchering the English language. These words have been around for decades including in published work. They are part of the English language; just not a very well-known part of it. I think it's for that reason that they need to be made more popular. According to some statistic or other, each person learns about eight words a day. These are three words. They can be yours for today.

Okay, well, that's red, but you're not the first person to think it's brown, so clearly I need to do something about that (despite the fact that ive already pushed the saturation to the visual limit...) Maybe I'll tweak the black tone so that the blue-toned fur doesn't muddy the red colour... Idk.

^ I was also thinking grey A couple of the staff and I happened to get in a discussion about Luxray and I started playing around with it. Its default shiny is just black and yellow, but I think this looks really cool: They don't like it. What about you guys?

OKAY! So, here's XY's TM List: http://www.serebii.net/xy/tmhm.shtml By some divine providence, it's remarkable similar to BW2's, which saves us a lot of work. However: * There are some TMs that are newly changed and need updating * All TMs need to have the list of new Pokemon that can learn them, added to them. A TM is definied like this: Note we're using the system names of Pokemon, which means ALLONEWORDWITHNOSPACES (or special characters), separated by commas. And it's basically just one happy conglomerate of Pokemon that can learn the move. New Pokemon need to be added to the end of existing TMs. I've already corrected the sequence of the list for XY myself meaning the proper listing of the moves is in order- only the Pokemon list needs to be updated, or in places that it is absent entirely such as for Roost and Dazzling Gleam, it needs to be written in the first place. Please refer to serebii to see which Pokemon can learn each TM. If a Pokemon can learn it through level-up, they can learn it through TM. If they can learn it as an egg move, that does not necessarily mean they can learn the TM, so keep that in mind. It will probably be best to go through these systematically, so please post when you make progress. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask!

Okay, here we go. First big project I need everyone's help on. We need to update the listing of which existing Pokemon learn which moves at what levels. When doing this, please reference Serebii, Bulbapedia or another reputable and up-to-date site. Here's how it's notated- you'll find a line that looks like this: Again, we're using the system name for moves, which means they need to be written in ALLCAPSWITHNOSPACES. The list alternates between the level learned, and the move's system name, both separated by commas. Basically, the example above is all there is to it. For now, don't worry about the Egg Moves; we don't know them all yet. If the Pokemon has three abilities total, the third ability goes into the HiddenAbility field between 'Abilties' and 'Moves'. It's possible that this field doesn't currently exist if the Pokemon doesn't have three abilities already. In that case, just make a new line and write it in as you see in that quote. There are a lot of Pokemon to cover! So here's the running tally of what's been done and what needs doing: Italics in the above list indicates that the information is currently unavailable As such, so that we can keep this list updated, please post whenever you make any progress. If there any questions, please ask!

You should ask xem about that, but it'll probably be fine. Xe and I just sat down and talked about how we were going introduce the pronouns to the community and we decided that the xe set was probably the easiest to understand/most popular

Playing DR was really, really fun. Some of the people I regularly skype with will tell you I wouldn't shut up about it for like two weeks straight while I was playing through it. I feel like a lot of the surprise elements will be lost if you've already seen it though... Alas, it is being localized, so there's hope for SDR2! Welcome and all~ ...wait, you say a few people will recognize you, are you that Lexi?

Be that as it may, I think this post was in reference to the Reborn Game. It wouldn't actually be all that hard, however, I'm really not interested in fakemon. I've considered several times including Reborn's CAP pokemon, Grimolt, but ultimately, as I'm choosing to keep to traditional moves/mechanics, I don't feel that it's fair to the player to suddenly throw such a huge curveball at them as brand new fake Pokemon. I want people to have as good of an understanding of the rules in this Pokemon world as they do in the main series, such that that they can play off of each other, and ultimately, I feel like adding Fakemon would disrupt that unity.

Finished this one up. Thanks for the help, guys~

Follow up to my previous thoughts about the non-binary protagonist: It is something I would like to do, and I intended to, however, as I sat down to think of what I might have that character look like, I realised that I'm not comfortable, if I'm going to be adding a third protagonist, with forcing players to choose between yet another white character. At the same time, I don't feel that it's fair to make the non-binary character dark-skinned, because then I feel like I would be forcing people wishing to identify under that color tone into choosing a gender option they may not be comfortable with. However, I do have two character slots open, and as a correction to the above-in saying that I do not feel that it would be worth providing only one alternate appearance, I had failed to consider alternate skin tones (which was also part of the original plan, I had just forgotten) So I think I'll use those two spots to make dark-skinned protagonists. Unfortunately, that won't leave room for a non-binary character unless I'm able to rework how the Tauros events work, but... Sadly, I feel like that's a higher priority.

As an event Pokemon, there's a distinct possibility that Heracross still suffers from the 3ability glitch, in which Pokemon with 3 abilities are currently unable to get their Hidden one. This was somewhat subverted by a partial fix in Episode 10, but as I suspected that fix doesn't apply to Pokemon not found in the wild...

I wrote it down on the list after seeing a different modification somewhere else the other day, but Slugma and Magcargo lend themselves pretty nicely to becoming slime-type things rather than lava. I was going to do that as a base concept for their shininess, unless the blue slugma is particularly favored?

Hi, and welcome! To address some of your points about the game: Firstly, Cain's actually not gay! Most people assume that he is because they play a male character, but he'll hit on a female player too. So, he's actually pansexual. He just happens to be really pervy a lot of the time so people tend to think he's gay. Secondly, even if he were, he wouldn't be the only homosexual character! Although for some of the others, either their sexuality isn't nearly as central to their character because they aren't so open about it, or it's not story-relevant, or it is story relevant and we just haven't gotten there yet~ One example of this is Amaria- you'll notice she makes several suggestive references to a then-unintroduced character, 'Tania'. Amy isn't exclusively homosexual (just a strong preference to girls), but the lesbian relationship between her and Tania is canonical (and not exactly a spoiler, since it's referenced in a lot of places both in-game and on this site). Now, as for your idea of having a non-binary protagonist option... Hum. Well, my original plan was to eventually include up to four options of trainer-appearance for each gender, however the way in which I had to code the Tauros riding stuff steps on my total of eight character slots, so I would only be able to do two options for each gender, which hardly seems worth it. Using those last two slots for a non-binary protagonist actually seems like a decent idea... I just might.

First post updated to current standing. There's only a handful of pokemon that we don't at least have some decent base for; our priority is finding quality or at least alternate sprites for these stragglers- indicated by the darkest colour background

The Flabebe line's forms look great Female Meowstic and Pyroar + Blade Aegislash however, can't be used like that. I appreciate the effort, however, as they are currently, they're arranged in the 128x64 image at a 1x resolution. At that size they need to be at 2x. At 1x they should be fitting into the 64x32 size. After some quick scrounging I also have been unable to find icons for these three forms, so just for now, we'll let it go. However, I'm going to leave this topic open because I'm sure these sprites will eventually become available. It won't be problematic to simply put them in later. The rest of the sprites are A-okay. Thanks guys!

Madoka did to the Magical Girl genre what Evangellion did the Mecha genre. Turned it inside out and made everyone cry blood tears.
