So I mentioned this before A- We're gonna start looking at things individually B- this is our first individual thing. Moving Kyurem-B down to OU. We'll use this as a discussion thread, and then vote in no more than a week. The reasoning behind this proposition is that, although Kyurem-B has a monstrous attack stat, it doesn't have the movepool to capitalise on it. As such, several servers with less lenient tiers than ours have already moved it into OU with minimal issue, and so it makes little sense to me, while we often have a more ban-forgiving OU metagame than others, to have something like that banned.

At this point I would like to remind everyone that this is a user-voted Champion select and the 'Good With' section has absolutely no merit to it after it was established that Ahri's #1 "Good With" was Irelia apparently solely on the merit that between Ahri's boobs and Irelia's ass, the enemy carry will just faint from sex appeal. that feel when every week the weather is the same: monday- snow tuesday- snow wednesday- no snow but bloody freezing thursday- moderate friday/saturday/sunday- warm monday- snow because why wouldnt it snow when i have to get up at six in the morning for school and why wouldnt it only be warm when i dont have to go anywhere :c that other feel when i wish this was the reborn game and i could just go downtown and reset the weekly pattern.

Serious talk for a sec I understand that's the context in which it's usually used but that's also a specific context that I try and use the rules around here to discourage. I think that it is a big deal that rape is so heavily casualised in the gaming culture. It's disrespectful to all rape survivors to belittle an event such as that- which mind you, is an effectively life-changing, traumatic misfortune- by comparing it to something as trivial as losing at a game. Furthermore, by casualising the notion of rape, using the term so loosely promotes acceptance of the act itself thereby indirectly enabling and encouraging in culture. Although I know these aren't the things that people think of when they use the term like, they are real implicit effects of it. The little nuances of language cause more damage than we give them credit for; I'm trying to stop that in the little way that I can. And further, the simple mention of an act like that can potentially serve as a trigger for survivors- and in fact we have in the past had people on this site who have been triggered by even passing mentions of it. I can't in good conscience let that happen. here, have an image.
