Second night was a definite success- and even more viewers than the first! Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind next week! For those who are unfamiliar with it, Nausicaa is Miyazaki's first film, and it was the film that made anime movies a success in the first place! With a series of seven graphic novels backing it, the movie Nausicaa just grazes the surface of its deep, intricate world- but make no mistake, the plot is as amazing as ever, and stands still today as one of his greatest works~ Far in the future, human civilization as we know it has collapsed. A massive toxic jungle, the "Sea of Corruption" grows larger every day, consuming the world around it. Nausicaa is the princess of one of the nations on its border- but when they're invaded by a foreign country, how can her people possibly survive?

I've noticed that the status feed lately has been going really fast. Like, really fast. Which is good! But it also means fewer people are seeing everyone's statuses. I think I can increase the number of statuses displayed at once to 10 like we used to have it. Is this something people are interested in?

And as you can see the first one was a definite success~ Howl's Moving Castle is up next. I know a lot of people are disenchanted about some titles that may or may not be on our immediate list, but Well, if this keeps up that won't be an issue, and I have a plan to resolve that. >>

I'll get the "couple" other things out of the way first. Firstly, by Inuki's demand, Phoenix has been fired. Done and over with. Secondly, regarding tiering things around here- As of today, the couple major tiering threads that we had going on were locked. I'm not exactly sure by whom, or why, but I don't disagree with it based on how heated those discussions were getting. There were effective arguments on both sides of both issues. Those topics were created properly, they were only locked to reduce intensity. I want to make it clear to the proponents of both of those that just because they were locked does not mean that those suggestions are going to fall off of the radar. To the contrary, this whole affair has made me realise that how we've been handling the tiering so far is probably inadequate. I intend to visit with the staff and come up with a better-defined (that is, defined-at-all) procedure on how we're going to take on these and future issues, and then we'll formally revisit them. and that just leaves the fun things! Pokemon Reborn- Episode V: Escape! from Reborn City Ka + boom. It's here. This is a shorter release than the others, but it's also more story-heavy. And I think a lot of you are going to evolve some of those Pokemon you were waiting on things for. For instance, the mining system from DPPt is now in the game! Once you find the mining kit you can use it to harvest the glowing rocks you might find in rare places across Reborn. And since there are no troll-spheres, you know that's gonna be some good stuff. Also, Pokemon that evolve by trade-evolution are now functional, through the use of an item called the Link Stone! Using the Link Stone is just like trading the pokemon, meaning if it needs to hold an item while it's being traded, it needs to hold that item when you use the stone. and shelly's gym is no longer straight from the firey pits of hell The new gym, however... I changed the way the downloading works. Before, we just had an Animated version and a Static version. Now there's only the static version, but you can download the animated sprites separately if you want to use those. Just paste the unzipped animated download into the game folder. Also, if you have the old release in the animated version, you don't need to download the sprites. Just copy everything in Game folder/Graphics/Battlers from your old version into the new download (because that's all the animated download is now). Access to Hydration/Rest + Calm Mind, Acid Armor Tail Glow / Scald I'm all for a lenient metagame But as strong as Rain teams already are, I don't see this helping, or really being a reasonable addition. I know from watching, um, just about every battle Amy's had, it most certainly can take hits. ^^; Edit: Ninja'd by ninja. Regardless of who provides it though, I think that list of potential counters/checks is important.

If there is a topic for genres as a whole, it's long since dead, so this is fine. A7X fans- What's your favorite song by them? I need to know in order to confirm a theory I have ._. I don't know what genre I listen to anymore. I used to be really into the symphonic metal stuff like Nightwish, too, even saw them live, kinda moved onto that. Emilie Autumn is Gothic Industrial, technically, but she's the only indiegothy artist I like. Lights is considered Pop according to Pandora, but I don't really listen to any pop besides her. Kerli calls herself Bubble Goth which isn't even actually a thing outside of Kerli. Imogen Heap is... I don't even know what they would be. oh well
