So here's how this is going to go down. Rule #1- Discussion of these Tiers should be kept off of the main server chaat. This vote will specifically concern ONLY Vulpix, Snover, and Hippopotas. Being weather setters currently in NU, we need to agree if we want to restrict them to a tier, because that is going to influence a lot of the choices in the lower tiers. Please focus your deliberations on those three for this first week. After that is decided, discussion will carry on for another week, or two if necessary. Afterwards, a second vote will be held for all other things. After that vote has been resolved, tiers will be adjusted, and discussion will be open for another two weeks to make any final changes (after everything moves around, there might be a few things unbalanced again) so after two more weeks, a third and final vote will be had on any new propositions. Concerning this third period, Pokemon may not go into double jeopardy unless there is significant reason for them to be reconsidered. For instance, suppose Celebii drops down to UU, but Crobat stays in BL. It then might turn out Celebii is too powerful in UU- Crobat could be reccomended to drop down to UU to serve as a counter for the new UU Celebii with Taunt, Brave Bird and 4x U-Turn. After several more weeks a final vote will be had, and after that, tiers will be considered settled again. With that said, this topic is now open, and you are all free to comment on the propositions!

I think the masses of challengers slaughtered by our former Flying leader Heather would beg to disagree with you. Her singles stall was just as potent as her triples tailwind, and she shot up 12 ranks almost instantly. Also, Tornadus, wut. For the Steel part, Skarmory more than takes care of the standard Ground move- there will be basic prediction necessary, and more than that if the challenger has something like Nidoking which may have both fire and ground moves. In that sense, the lack of Heatran is better for the challenger. That said, I'm not quite sure what your point is in either of those things.

I'd argue that Flamethrower is better. Steel types are more likely to wall than ground or dragon- both of which it can already hit neutrally.

Yeah, he was saying that the Uber legends WOULD be banned. Things like, Articuno, completely random choice, would not. Moreover, this is a perfectly acceptable way to ask this sort of question- and that is all he's doing. Asking, and supporting the warrant for the question. Rhu- All legendaries are banned from league, regardless of strength. My answer: The Reborn League was created to replicate the flavor of an in-game experience yet maintain the difficulty of facing human opponents. Never in the games do you see a gym leader with a legendary. Therefore, I've preserved that characteristic. If this were, say a battle frontier, I would not. Naturally, being that the leader's cannot have it, I do not allow the challengers to, either, so that they may be on even ground. This serves a double purpose as it also shifts the metagame of the league astray from the standard metagame. This is a boon because it opens people up to unique viabilities in their choices- rather than defaulting to cookie-cutter meta-teams. It also challenges the leaders to invent new strategies. For intance, our previous Steel Leader, Titania, was not allowed Heatran- She had to find other, more creative ways to counter fire type attacks.Such an act encourages diversity and critical thinking, for the small price of enhancing the presentational experience.
