[[Having completed the Johto Nuzlocke really easily, I'm being more strict with the rules this time. There is no allowance for the first route with no Pokeballs; the Daycare is not permitted. Towns are not eligible for catching Pokemon with the exception of Gift-Pokemon. If a gift pokemon is received in a wild location, it can be switched/substituted for that location's catch but both may not be kept. Hopefully I'll think of a few other things.]] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the distant future, a time when crime seemed to be at a standstill, there was a young girl, named Amie who ventured forth with her Pokemon, and became a Pokemon Champion. As many Johto trainers do, she would then continue onto the Kanto region to claim the badges there. ...But not under the same terms as most trainers. Not at all... Cut to the town of Pallet. A homely little place, where a homely young boy was about to begin a journey very similar to that far off Trainer's. Liddell, like most young trainers, dashed to Professor Oak's lab hoping to receive a starter, but who was there waiting for him? Gary motherfucking Oak. Gary oak snatched up the very last starter, which Liddell would have very much liked to have had. Instead, he was given the only thing Professor Oak had- a Pokemon caught fresh in the wild: A Pikachu. A pikachu... It probably wouldn't even evolve right. But what can be done? :c But it needs a name. How about... Default :c SUDDENLY. Gary decides there's no time to waste in murdering us, so ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RIVAL BATTLE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The first Thundershock is a critical hit on Gary's Eevee! Looks like luck's on my side. Eevee uses Tail Whip.... Thundershock crits again! Herpy Gary is herpy, Tail Whip again. Thundershock- Eevee's nearly dead! It finally tackles, doing 12 (out of 19) damage! Yikes. If we had not scored those two crits this would have been at early end. However. Thundershock- Eevee is KO'd! (with yet ANOTHER critical hit)! GmfO: What?! Unbelievable! L: Not to be a ninja, but... Believe it. GmfO: I picked the wrong Pokemon! L: Bro, I will gladly trade you. Gary mother fucking Oak was defeated! G: Okay! I'll make my Pokemon fight to toughen it up. Liddell! Gramps! Smell ya later! L: I think that's just your upper lip. It wasn't long before we received a Pokedex from Professor Oak, and so did we set off into the great beyond, with no discernable goal at this point! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pokeballs bought- Route 1 was traversed before they were available, so that's out of the question, but we're at Route 22- and that has some pretty good stuff, especially for Brock. Let's see if my luck holds out... Three Pokeballs (didn't even risk an over powered attack- it was level 2) later, Nidoran female was caught! Could be worse, but I'm not sure if it learns the Double Kick that'll be so useful for Brock... Her name... Well. Nidorina evolves with Moon Stone, soooooo. Crescent. Next up is Route 2, let's see what we got inb4Rattata ...! <3 Crescent tries a tackle, but this one is level 6, so it doesn't do much. Switch out to Default :c. Thundershock; see what it does. It wasn't long before Shelly, after killing a few encountered Metapod, evolved into one herself~ Now, let's head down that road... On the contrary, two Horn Attacks pack Eevee away~ Shelly levels up! What? Shelly is evolving! GmfO: Awww! You just lucked out! L: Calling hax. How mature. Liddell has defeated Gary! A hyper potion recovers Emerald while Dragonite is immobile... Expecting the Fire Blast, Emerald switches in... It hurts itself in its confusion. If we have a choice of Waterfall or Focus Punch... Hm. Emerald uses Rain Dance. Dragonite snaps out of confusion, but is immobile. Outrage is next... So... Lithion switches back in. But Dragonite still can't move. Lithion fires off the Thunder. Dragonite falls into the yellow, but Sitrus berry brings it back to Green. It's fully paralysed still. A second Thunder... Immmobile again. It sits at 25% health... Now it'll be a full restore, so... L: I never give up, no matter what... You must be the same? A: ...Sure. Lance uses a Full Restore. Lithion immediately paralyzes it again with Thunder Wave. The rain stops. Lithion uses Supersonic; it hits, and Dragonite is confused. It hurts itself! Now to set rain back up... emerald takes the field and- Dragonite pulls off Outrage right away, ugh.. Emerald survives! A Hyper Potion recovers it! Dragonite is immobile; its outrage broken. Emerald uses Rain Dance, and Dragonite uses ... Safeguard? Hm... Let's just see... Lithion switches back; its immobile AGAIN. Lithion recovers with a potion, and Dragonite outrages. Lithion resists, and takes it in the green... Thunder attack, outrage, and another Potion. Lithion goes for the thunder, but it misses, Rain just having stopped again. However, Dragonite hurts itself in the outrage-confusion... Lithion tries a thunder again. It won't be enough - and Lance has at least four more full restores, how I WISH I were exaggerating, but it hits. Dragonite is brought down to the red. It- ...It hurts itself in its confusion. ...Dragonite KOs itself. Lithion levels up... L: ...It's over. Amie has defeated Champion Lance! A: ...Wait, what..? L: But it's an odd feeling. Similiarly, Clair recovers Dragonair with a Hyper Potion. ROUND 2, FAITO This time Blizzard misses, and BrokenOpal is paralysed again! D: Dragonair uses Dragon Pulse, and Broken Opal knocks it back down with Bilzzard, this time successfully. Dragonair comes in with a second Pulse. BrokenOpal is in critical condition, but it moves! Surf finishes the Dragonair~ Dragonair (38) the second takes its place. This time its Turquoise (Level 37 Vaporeon)'s turn! Dragonair goes for the Thunder Wave! Turquoise is immediately paralysed... It follows up with a Slam attack, which doesn't do a whole lot. Turquoise gets in her Blizzard- Dragonair is in the red. Quick Attack finishes it off! And now the mother...
