Geo, I don't like what happened. Given your actions, I can't disagree with Ikaru's decision, but that doesn't mean I like it. Despite your unruly attitude, you've been one of our top contributors, even beside helping to establish Excessum, so regardless of however much trouble you... admittedly, have consistently caused for us, I'm still sorry to see you go. I am sorrier to hear that that's how you feel about the site, given that the only thing we're trying to do is make this a, you know, decently positive and enjoyable environment. And I am sorrier still to know that's how you feel about me, because I... actually thought we were cool. Silly me, right? But, none of what I'm saying by any means excuses you. Ikaru is right; you can't be an exception, and I had been far to lenient on you in the past. The dissonance between then and the standard we're setting now is at least in part at fault for this, and so for that I apologize. That aside, please know that you have chosen this. So, you were mad. One must learn to control their anger. Now that's multiplied by the consequence of an impulse, and I imagine that can't feel very good either. I would say to talk to us once you've taken some time off and cooled down, but... You will change for no one, you say. I don't get clinging to pride, or to a stagnant sense of identity... In some regard, it is good to know who you are without the pressure of anyone around you. Maybe that's a true self-knowledge than anything else. What software did you use for narrating battles, and what settings did you find to be most effective for clarity and such?

So I know there's been a bit of strife over the interpretation of rule 7 lately. For that past week, maybe two, we've been progressing to a new interpretation of the sexual content rule. Previously, we said that it only applied to pornographic content, being images and video and such. However, due to a recent lack of standard in the community, the staff has agreed to re-adapt this rule to discussion as well. If there was any confusion about this recently, it's because this agreement wasn't officially set in stone until about a day or two ago, and even then not publicly announced- until now. I say this, because regardless of what's happened for the past couple days, or weeks, or the greater expanse of time before, this is how it's going to be from now on: Rule 7 is being changed. "Overt sexual content will not be tolerated." As such, know that we are not applying it only to images/video, etc anymore. This DOES apply to discussion. Essentially, we're asking you to trim down the more risque comments and vulgarities, that's all. Doesn't mean you all have to stop having fun or anything. I also remind you all of the policy that I've mentioned a few times before. That being that we, as mods, don't really care what goes on in the back-channels. If you all are set on having your Reborngies, as I've heard so much about, just take it back there. What happens in back-channels, stays in back-channels. Or something like that. Given that there has been some debate over this recently, let this be the end all. Keep it clean. Nothing you wouldn't say to my grandma, etc. Alright, well, not my grandma, she's- Nothing you wouldn't say to, like, Winter's grandma. I don't know. You get the point. And no one is exempt. This includes mods, so help us stay on track too. Any questions?~ On a completely unrelated, positive note, I got the site all paid for so we're good to go for another full year.
