I was looking at the visitor statistics for our site and came across a list of the most popular terms that some people find Reborn through. I thought I would share a few of these with you all. We are gathered here today for yet another one of Amethyst's completely unprofessional news posts. Yay! That said, we need a new banner for the site, for a number of reasons. This was discussed before, actually, and the Pokemon suggested for it are compiled below. Rather than contracting anyone person to do this, I'm opening the art of making this banner up to anyone who would like to give it a try. REQUIREMENTS: The banner must have our sit name, PokePlace [[Reborn]] The banner must feature Absol and one or more of the Pokemon listed below. The banner must be no larger than the base image provided, and must be constructed on top of that image. No part of the image should be cut off by the bottom or right borders of the image. After a couple weeks, all the submissions will be posted anonymously and voted on. The person who's piece is chosen WILL receive a prize. I hope to see some quality pieces. Um, Dragonz, as far as this topic is concerned so far, no one has her badge yet. That said, as Gardevoir will announce tomorrow, Ice DID beat her. But that's still only one person.

Anyway, I may as well say this here to clear it up: I've heard the reports about triples being too prominent, and I made a tally of how many leaders use what type of battle: 11 Leader use Singles 3 Leaders use Doubles 7 Leaders use Triples. The theoretical probability of getting any time of battle is as such, based on the 15 leaders currently in action: Singles- 8/15 Doubles- 2/15 Triples- 5/15 You can see that Singles are still most prominent. Triples may only seem like they're taking over the league because when they are used, it's more likely that the challenger will lose, and therefore, will have to retry the battle. Therefore, the triples matches end up being repeated more than the singles matches, whereas the actual pairings may in fact be less frequent. There's also the fact that you all could just be focusing on it too much... But point made, I thinkhope.

Yeeeah, the people who've known me longer will know that I typically favor Psychic/Dark/Ghost types, unlike Ikaru, in no particular order, however, given my recent rainophilia I couldn't not say that I don't specialize in water types. ...But only the ones I like. As I mentioned last week, I would need to[b] declare an end time to league battles [/b]after this last week, due largely to the fact that I am starting school and cannot reasonably be expected to stay up till seven in the morning on a routine basis, and also in great part to the fact that it is somewhat unfair of me to ask my leaders the same early-morning allegiance. That time will need to be at [b]2 AM EST[/b]. I was hoping this could be later, but given some issues that arose last Friday, pushing it further is probably unmanageable... To be clear this means that [b]no battles will start after that time. Any in progress will finish.[/b] This of course means that, given the traffic lately, [b]some people may not be able to get their turns even if they do stay up every night.[/b] Thinking about this now, perhaps it is good that I am not requiring the challengers to stay up until ungodly hours of the morning anyway, but nevertheless, I can only apologize for those of you who will inevitably be cut off. Although I cannot offer additional turns in compensation, what [b]I will offer is priority the following night over the users who did get their turns. In other words, if your turn does not come before the cut off, you will be guaranteed the next day to go before anyone who did fight that night, or was not there. [/b] The other greatest piece of news that I am stealing in place of Friday's highlights is- with the eventual 6th defeat of Titania,[b] the 16th and Water Gym Leader Amaria is now unlocked and available for battle starting on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. [/b] Following the pattern I have since this site opened in June, I should require seven people to defeat Amaria [b]before unlocking the final leader[/b]. This, however, is slightly ridiculous. So for my own purposes, I am reducing this to[b] only four people that need to beat her[/b]. Good luck. Two final notes, those being that due to circumstances outside of my control, [b]there will be no league running this Tuesday the 18th, nor Friday the 28th.
