Arkeis is a pretty good idea.... I know he's competent artist; I just don't like his style in comparison to the official art. That said, I think I will look into that.

First thing to note is that I don't want to have a huge banner. I think the size that it is now is modest and effective, so I will not increase it dramatically simply to allow a ton of Pokemon. Therefore, we will only be choosing a few from each category. But. I'm looking for what Pokemon everyone wants to include for each skin. Mind, our colors are: Monochrome Blue Red Green Purple Generally we want Pokemon that are only of the specific color and white/grey/black. So, I would be hesitant to put on something like Vileplume for the Red skin, because it is also predominately blue. Also note that 5th gen, while I don't want to rule it out completely, will be considerablly less viable to find art for, because the official art hasn't yet been released, and most fan art would not match with the other styles. I'll collect suggestions in this first post: Monochrome- Absol Umbreon Blue- Lucario Vaporeon Red- Scizor Blaziken Green- Gardevoir Scyther Purple Mismagius Reparudasu Anyway, which do you think would be cool to see?

Because I'm a jerk. Also because then those accents at least match to the traces of red and blue with the Reborn Theme for PO, red matching with Pokeballs and Blue with the standard functions of PO. I will do everything I can to make the skins enjoyable- such as, I could include the Halloween Pokemon on the Red skin, and Lucario or other requests on the Blue. We'll do whatever you guys want with them.

As you have doubtlessly guess from the title, we now have a tentative date for the league to re-open, that being the 29th of November. Truthfully, we would be prepared to open a full week sooner, were I not- and surely others with me- being whisked away out of state over fall break where I cannot be at all sure that my internet connection will be stable, and where I am quite sure instead that my schedule will not. That said, this means that it is time to (re)register your teams! But before you go off and jump into the new registration topic there is something returning challengers should be aware of: If you post a new team in the registration topic, you will lose all of your badges. Instead, returning qualified challengers should take the form from that topic and post their new team in their personal Challenger topic. From there, I will copy it into the Registration topic personally, meaning once you post your new team, it cannot be edited. Please note, there is no expiration on this chance for qualified teams, but you only get one change. In other words, if you haven't settled on a Gen V team that works for you yet, there is no rush to register anything, but once you do register it, it is set in stone, so choose wisely. However, if you have yet to earn a badge, or do wish to start over, then by all means go ahead and post in the registration topic yourself. The problem there is getting artwork polished enough and small enough to fit in there. On the matter of size, I suppose the spritework -could- work, but that just seems redundant. At any rate, it is an idea I would like to pursue, and yet, I haven't the time.

PS Guys, I eventually made a verdict. For maximum manageability, I'm cutting it down to just the Blue/Red/Green/Purple skins. You'll notice that the fancy new site icon reflects this- those will be our rotatable site accent colors. I'm also going to embellish on the differences between them a bit, in time.
