So hahaha uh funny story about that we almost had multiplayer completely functional aaaaaand then the person who had been working on that before dropped off of the face of the planet and took all their code with them. literally no clue what even happened but im punching myself for not requesting a commit sooner. so basically Marcello is starting from scratch on it and it will probably be a while again. Seems to be a common theme for this post, but we can't realisitically give a predicted release timing for it. Definitely not 16 though. That said, it is totally possible. -- so i finished apophyll, i guess. idk, it's weird. which means eventing is done. that's also weird. we're at 80%. i'll post a field effect like, whenever i feel like it. I'm going to take a short break because I've been pushing myself + I have some misc stuff piling up to take care of. Also, sidequests tend to burn me out and my current list of sidequest ideas (some small, some very not) is around 50 lines long (will probably be boiled down). Save any hype for after I finish those.

i literally gave like 5 answers to this before but i see how it is, i'll be a bit more direct i guess and make sure to include approximately nothing i mentioned before: crossing over cutesy anime openings with rap songs MLG/iluminati stuff various things from the misadventures of skooks pretty much anything from Mean Girls emoticon usage so gratuitous that it dissolves the line between real and ironic I don't know if it was the 'worst worst' but definitely the first movie that comes to mind for this is uhhh Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer. Kitty and i saw that when we were at a goth nightclub on what apparently happened to be their 'bad horror movie night' and that in itself was pretty cool but the movie was just... like basically what happens is there's a really stupid plumber guy and he has to go take some kind of a class or whatever but then the professor of the class turns into an alien-clown-tentacle-zombie-monster thing and starts tentacling clown-monster-zombie juice down his classmates' throats in such a fashion that you would probably see on 4chan's alternative hentai board, and that turns them into clown monster zombies too so stupid plumber guy (he's like, redneck mario) has to fight them all. anyway it wasn't really scary so much as it was like 85% stupid and frankly, mildly traumatizing. i have no problem with clowns or tentacles alone (no comment on the zombies..), but i do not think these things need, under any circumstance, to be combined. I haven't seen them. :c I'm actually not sure I've seen any space horror stuff. Nothing comes to mind, anyway.. Horror movies in general are usually a miss for me though. Jump scares are cheap and movies like that are mostly just boring to me. Although as far as normal horror goes, the Saw series has a nice concept (see how it inspired Zero Escape and Dangan Ronpa) but doesn't have the time to expand on it and make it fulfilling. ...though admittedly, i cannot and will not deal with zombies... It didn't rain once. The heck is that?? Anyway Washington is cool, Oregon is cool, I enjoyed my time up in Wisiconsin too, Florida was fun. There's a lot of places I like. The arm of the.. what. since when does it have arms??? b ut shooting stars anyway. ain't nobody get to wish on arms. A fast one. Like, braiding my hair or something, I really need to learn to do that ... but I don't want it to be something I really care about because if I'm forced to do it I won't enjoy it and it'll ruin it for me, and also most things I care about would take forever and I might starve to death or something first.

I can do anything I want. ^~^ nah. i know i'm making more work for myself here, but there's two reasons i won't do that. The first is that, remembering my thoughts as a player on fan-games back from the rom-hacking era, if a hack wasn't up to the current generation, I was like 80% less likely to care about it at all. Of course I don't expect a developer (or myself) to keep adding each and every generation after the game is complete, but as for during development, I see little reason not to. Second is because I am sort of a dunce and that day, whatever day it was, that they announced ice-ninetales (and yes, i might be mildly obsessive over it), I had a thought process somewhat like the following: Alolan Ninetales is so pretty! I'm actually looking forward to using it when the new games come out! I want to love and take care of it forever! Oh, wait, based on 6th gen, Sun and Moon will probably be so easy I'll barely even be able to enjoy the game, let alone get any kind of satisfying experience with my Pokemon in it even if I do like them. If only Gamefreak or someone else would make a Pokemon game that was actually interesting and challenging-- oh... wait, I guess I'm doing that, huh. The new Ninetales alone has been a pretty potent reminder for me about why I am personally invested in this project. Maybe that seems silly to others (well forgetting I'm making a game probably -is- silly, but, details..) but this is my game and it's something I personally really want. So it's happening. And just, like, on the real, this note about "cramming too much" into the last four episodes-- I am welcoming the reinforcements because honestly? I'm running out of Pokemon to put into new areas. And I've already been re-using a lot. Reborn is huge. This chance to diversify it more will be quite welcome. ugh. not looking forward to that admittedly. or specifically not looking forward to updating all of the field-app graphics........ hah. I agree here. I'm not committing to adding Z moves until we find out more about their function. And I'm currently strongly leaning against it based on what we know so far. -- azurine done. i know you all missed foongus item-balls. i sure didn't miss pasting them fifty times only to realize that i actually pasted a real Miracle Seed item fifty times, so i had to delete those and paste the real foongus event fifty times, only to realize i typo'd the name and had to delete all of those and repaste them correctly, and then go back and add a variable to all of them because planning is overrated. work tomorrow though. my goal is to finish the rest of the eventing this weekend between work and animations but we'll see how it goes.

I work at an independent living home for juvenile delinquents. We work with boys ages 16-21 transitioning out of jail and we teach them how to live normal lives in the community since many of them have been in the system for years and don't know how to do things like cook for themselves, fill out a job app, or regulate their emotional triggers. So it is related-- although I got the job on the qualification of previous work with at-risk youth instead, since I hadn't finished my degree at the time. Totally Pluto. It needs all the love it can get. Still Pluto. I don't really know any particular stars? Other than Polaris I guess? Let's go with that. Never have been able to work out constellations personally.. Let's go with Ophicus, because like Pluto, it's forgotten about too much :c I legitimately dont even know any galaxies besides ours so ours the possibility that somewhere out there, cat-girls are real. Indifferent, tbh. I think that theory about everything in the universe getting further and further away is about sad, but as far as how big it actually is, it's really unfathomable so I don't think I can get the full effect of it. Main female lead of Spice and Wolf. She's a centuries-old capricious and tsundere wolf goddess who more or less knows everything but travels around with the protagonist because she's bored and wants to go home. Also she's good at economics and reading people.

Granted, a lot of that is because I can't stand the older FF battle systems (traditional turn based makes me want to gouge my eyes out, 12's was borderline but i didnt like the characters, 13 made it actually enjoyable). anyway, it has Pretty Line Syndrome as heck but the story was good, the characters were good, fang x vanille is my cup of tea and by the way i love vanille,gran pulse in FF13 was... really not all that much story. and yet it had about a gazillion sidequests compared to literally every other chapter of the game. this isn't quite so dramatic in the less-linear Reborn but it's still the same with E16 where there isn't much plot but there is many city to re-explore and thing to do. I started out as a theatre major, but realized that a theatre degree was approximately as useful as blank printer paper, so I switched to psychology, and graduated with a major in that and minor in women's studies. i mean hey good luck that gives me more time to do other stuff if i can trust other-me has here covered

Pokemon are usually defined in a text file, but alternate forms are defined in a script section. Basically it uses all the same attributes and then they're adjusted by the scripts for whatever needs to be changed. Meowstic, as well as every form change in the game uses this (including megas), but Alolan pokemon will probably be most like Shellos where it depends where they're from (+ a lot more changes besides appearance, of course) no fuck that i dont want to wait until post-game for my pretty alolan ninetales i want her by my side at all times no but really ill have to rework all of availabilty/trainers/fields/tms/leaders for gen 7 so fml tbh benefit of doing that in the last episode will be that it can be a final balance check ish -- about halfway done with beryl. and i think it was the bigger half. or at least the half with more in it. unless i'm a squib i should be able to finish it tomomo

i was upset today to discover (through playing Rejuvenation, no less) that a certain graphic I spent a solid couple hours a few weeks ago spriting, actually already existed in Essentials by default. and the one i sprited from scratch, not having even known about the existing one, was almost completely identical aauuuu. whatever, mine's still cleaner. jasper is done. honestly shouldnt have taken as long as i did but hey who called it (i called it) beryl is very larrrrg but hopefully it doesnt stall me for nearly as long.

i popped into this thread because i was like 'there is no way people are still guessing me trying to get me to appear here' and yet here we are on this very page pls chill i dont exist here not even now but while im here i might as well put in an order for blue moon, since it is the best ice cream flavor and all.

I won't go into detail, but I definitely have been doing the same sort of thing. Not with Reborn since the circumstances behind that are different, but with pretty much every playable character in Starlight they're representative of a specific emotional conflict I have or have had. Sometimes if I'm like upset or crying or whatever, I'll stop myself and realize... "all right, well, this conflict belongs to X character, how are they going to get over it?" and so I sort of save it away to write into them when the time comes, and then try to jump myself to their conclusion.

on one hand it's cool that they're finally doing this form that has apparently been foreshadowed in other media for years. on the other hand. i have no clue how i or anyone else is supposed to fit that beast into a 96x96 sprite. coldsteel the hedgehog is an improvement but my impressions are too stained by its ground type counterpart for me to care greatly.on the other hand, the ninetales... ohhhmygoddd the ninetales... yes please i will take 12, thank you. 7th gen will definitely happen just because of ninetales alone. i think it may have jumped up into my top 3 favorite pokemon. my thoughts on z-moves are best summed up in an illustrious phrase i heard long ago. that phase is something like,why ​I'm concerned. I was concerned about Mega Evolutions too, and Megas turned out to be really healthy for the metagame, but not so hot for the in-game experience where- hey, you could already steamroll every gym leader with one pokemon easily, but now you can do it with a super-saiyan Pokemon! Anyway, Megas were not without merit so I'm hoping this will be the same way, but I am hesitant because I cannot imagine that Z-moves will be particularly significant for game balance unlike Megas since 1- as far as I can tell it's not so worth it to team build around them, and 2- it's probably just going to be relegated to a get-out-of-trump-card free move for battles even if it were ever necessary. also i dont think its particularly compelling to just have superstrongmove on an enemy either like what's that gonna do hey check it out one (1) of your pokemon is probably going to get OHKO'd whenever this move is used. wow, compelling gameplay!! I'll be the first to admit I have a lot of salt about Pokemon's battle system, but I am trying very hard to give them the benefit of the doubt here and I'm just not feeling it. I don't think I've streamed since Dylan and I dropped the Tales thing. I sort of struggle with it. As a theatre kid, I'm not exactly stage-shy, but I seem to have a tendency to put off streaming a lot, never really feeling like it, never really feeling up to it, so forth. It's a little stressful for me tbh. Kinda the same with Youtube videos actually, but those can be done on a whim at 3am where as streaming at 3am is sometimes less effective. So I figure between the two I should put my energy towards videos since those will last longer than one night and also probably take less time. In regards to games, I feel like when I'm streaming something new to me, I can't really take the time to enjoy it. Like with Undertale, for instance. I haven't played anymore of Undertale since streaming it, but I don't really feel like I got a good feel for it before between watching chat + trying to keep moving so it didnt stall out. I play things at the speed of dirt usually, and that might be because I often take time to savor or analyze elements of them. YouTube videos are a bit better for me there too since I can cut out the ten minutes of down-time where I was chasing my tail or staring off into the distance looking up a kanji compound or something. League is also something I've streamed in the past and that was fun-- but my default position towards that is that I should get better first. In regards to development... I may try and do more of that (especially since if I ever did get on through Patreon or something like that I'd want to feel comfortable doing that sort of thing for patrons regularly). But I wrestle between energy levels, focus, and also not wanting to spoil parts of the game for people-- then again maybe if players are concerned about that they would just not watch. A lot of this probably sounds like reasons for me not to, but I'm not saying I wont do it again. Streaming is still something interesting to me, and something I'd like to be able to do. I'm just not quite there yet. On the plus, I got a webcam for my birthday meaning if I did stream again, I could have a face if I wanted. I dunno if that's gonna mean anything or not. I am very open to feedback on the above conflicts, by the way, if anyone has any tips for mitigating those sorts of problems from their experience, or what kind of things you guys would most want me to be streaming, whatever. This might not be the topic for it so feel free to shoot me a PM or something if you have words for me. The Hermit, probably. A certain other person has described me as such anyway, and I'm inclined to believe it's accurate. Always.However, I'm not yet convinced they need to be in Reborn, so we'll see. My first impulse is always to say "Emilie Autumn" but, I don't really know what I would say to her, and based on past experiences, I have a lot more to lose in that scenario than I do to gain. Pretty dramatic, hm? I can see the resolution is a bit inconsistent, and it's got pillow-shading syndrome (darker towards edges-- not generally correct) but for an early attempt you've got potential. That said, this thread really isn't the place for this sort of thing, so in the future, please post your sprites or whatever in the Creative Works forum so everyone can give feedback too! a wat yeah! we may not have all of them 100% ready in the next episode but in general they do the thing heh oh by the way i found another bug with these as i was trying to make that gif so like heyyy if you need another break from the server stuff hit me up. Coral is done. I think Coral might be my favorite ward in the city now. Like, if I were going to live there or something. Lapis comes next. It might take a minute unless I save a solid chunk of it for sidequests though. We'll see.

i cannot in good conscience answer this question negatively Here is why I do not want to do the audino thing (and why i've been resistant to rebattlable trainers in the first place): If it were just a fast track for weaker Pokemon, that would be fine. But anything that's that fast, like an Audino squad, is also probably going to be pretty easy leveling among other things too. I do not like grinding. There are apparently strange people with strange opinions who disagree with me, but personally I think having to grind is a design flaw. However (and presumably due to years of growing up on static turn-based systems that served more as stat-checks than actual challenges) despite it not being enjoyable to many people, it is often a default strategy. I would much rather encourage players to not grind unless they really have to (or, as you say, a newer/weaker Pokemon) and instead try different strategies, items, set-ups, field tactics, etc to try and beat the leader instead. But, if I add something that's so clearly freelo EXP, it's just going to enable that grinding-as-default disposition. I don't think people learn as much that way, and I think if they end up beating the battles just because of a numbers advantage they lacked before, it's not nearly as satisfying as beating the battle because they thought hard, tried new things, and hammered out something they didnt think of before that happened to work better and secure the win. So, I don't know the numbers, but if something gives the best EXP for a level 30-50 Pokemon it's also probably going to be giving above average EXP even for level 50-70 Pokemon. Then it'll be that much simpler to just win by numbers rather than strategy. No thanks.As an after thought, I wouldn't be opposed to that if it somehow like locked you out of the battle if you had any Pokemon above a certain level in your party (and was later in the game) so that could be an option... however that level would probably be in the 50-60 area and while it would help it's mostly the levels after that that take the longest anyway. So eh. Generally true, though Jan and I are friends and help a bit with each other's projects anyway, so I really doubt he'd mind. It's probably an option at least.

It has its moments. I hella support the bubbline shipping and have seen a few episodes but it never really caught me. The only one of these I actually watch(ed) regularly. Lapis is precious and must be protected. There's not much negative I could say against it except how slow it is to pick up. Had to google what it was. I've seen some gifsets of it on tumblr but the art style is sort of gross and makes me not want to watch it. The gifs themselves have yet to give me sufficient reason contrariwise. Haven't seen that either, nor have I seen anything of it elsewhere. Is that still relevant??? It looked sort of cool when I saw commercials of it as a kid, but I've never seen it. We didn't have cable growing up so I didn't have a way to watch it. Who wouldn't? There's really no reason not to, and I think everyone has lots of things they'd like to do over, or better, or something-- heck, even someone with basic understanding of current events and society could become rich through stocks alone. ty cuz i was v confused
