Is there some candy like that in the game? I got Shedinja from the egg and I'd love to turn her into Shiny version.

Does anyone know if there's any point in giving money to that guy in Beryl Ward that talks about him having a destroyed town in the west of the city? I've given him like 3k and nothing happened.
