Oh, no wonder the combination of "heroes" and tecmo koei sounded familiar: This old game wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The new game looks a lot smoother, but comes off as trying too hard to compete with Hyrule Warriors. But I like the change from turn-based games to more real time battle games. A bit hack and slash, but it looks like it would be fun. I wonder if there's any character creation involved.

Good surprises are the best surprises. and it is rather surprising that they finally release something for a current gen console and not the one prior exclusively. I can totally see the whole chained and imprisoned thing working with persona. mainly being that the people feeling shackled by society and trapped into no win situations often leads into the desire for death represented by the shadows. Yukiko's shadow/trial comes to mind. p3 and p4 each had persona capable human elements who stood in the way of protagonists. I wonder who they are and what goal they are trying to reach this time.

The 3 most recent Mario games I played were super Mario 3ds, super paper Mario, and sunshine. I didn't finish any of them. II've gotten tired of the Mario series and can't make myself excited for the games anymore.
