Well, I'm back up to 14k feathers after dropping to less than 100 after upgrading Kagero. Idk if it's worth the time and fortuitous feather awarding events to raise a character to 5* just to pass on a single skill... Maybe eventually when I have nothing else to put feathers into. Can we make a list of characters who can give tier 3 skills at 4* or is that made somewhere else already? Turns out my Takumi is -HP +Spd. Not sure how I feel about that. *shrug*

Hey guys....could I get some advice, maybe?

I feel like at some parts you have the traditional gender roles swapped. You always wanna talk things out and explore feelings and fix them together while she wants to just drop it and forget it. You gotta try to worry about it less and give her some space. She's clearly confused about some things and your trying to get her to confront it and fix it right away instead of at her own pace really isn't working here. Being clingy sends the wrong impression and usually pushes people away. Or she might be regretting the relationship and your over-attentiveness is making it harder for her to come to terms with it. One thing I remember a bit from human sexuality class is that the over-attentiveness is a strategy to pressure a partner into keeping them when one senses that they might be getting the axe. I'm not sure that's the case here but putting them on a pedestal like that is often a major turn off for women from what I've seen and experienced. You wanna be the loyal dog, but what she might really want is a cat- someone assured of and in themselves, the cat's poise and independence, with a more sporadic affectionate side that may need to be teased out. She's an important part of your world, but don't burden her with the feeling that she holds your world on her shoulders. I know you want to work out your concerns with her, but to me it seems it would be better to vent and plan with outside influences rather than force her to confront things she doesn't feel comfortable talking about. She has her own way of dealing right now and you might need to adjust yours. You should give real thought to ending the relationship if you can't avoid making snap, emotional responses. You two might not be that emotionally compatible. Spencer's though, is all about them half-serious sexual gag gifts from what I remember. I haven't seen one in ages though. Question- Has she been in any other relationships? If so, do you think she was ever as intimate with them? I kinda get the feeling that you might be her first major relationship. I kinda get the feeling that her expectations and experience with sexuality didn't quite meet. I know it didn't for me. Definitely not all it's hyped out to be. It's great, but it didn't lead me to chase skirt the way a lot of guys around me did. Probably why I gave off the 'married guy' vibe. -
Libraries - Amount of Available games in your Country?
Maelstrom replied to Tartar's topic in General Discussion
No yeah, these are generally smaller than an actual fishing tackle boxes and come in a variety of sizes and shapes, even though board games these days tend to come with some pretty big boxes. One of my friends has an organizer that is really several containers connected. Imagine a a round plastic container, like the bottom part of a soda can, and they screw into the bottom of a container just like it, with one lid for the top-most container. It ends up looking like a tiny totem pole with different pieces in each section. but yeah, I suppose with cards you just pull them out onto a table and count 'em. Whenever I have a big stack to count, I simply make small stacks of five and then do some math after counting the number of stacks and any remainders. random related link http://www.boardgameresource.com/board-game-storage-6-tips/ -

It's probably a lot easier if they use little bags or plastic containers to organize the parts. There's a place around here where we go to board game sometimes and everything comes in those kind of things, along with a printed label saying what goes in what and how many, and generally a master inventory sheet. Pretty neat system that make accountability pretty easy. They also sell containers on the side so if you buy any games or own some already you can use them for your own personal organization. -

Beware hordes of people intent on popping that scarf, Arkhi. -
Idk, from what I read, a lot of Republicans hate it because Trump promised not to keep policing the world's problems and put America first. This man doesn't plan or think about long term consequences. Something happens, he turns a complete 180. While I agree with the intent of the strike, I know that Trump still has no idea what he's doing. And I have to agree with Evi, bipartisan-ship alone isn't enough by itself to make an action 'good.' It's a civil we're watching because one part of the country disagrees with the other part of the country. The reason why Russia and other people support Assad is because he is secular and view the religious opposition as the bad guy. You can't protect your entire country when half of it wants to strangle the other half and the feeling of the other half is mutual. It's hard to say which side is 'better' than the other and its kind of in their own interests of self determination that they were fighting each other without as much interference from us before. We don't know enough about either side or the people who constitute each side to really say definitely which side we should be on Before when chemical weapons were used, we got angry and applied pressures, but we didn't do anything directly. But now we have. But it sets into motions other actions from other countries, such as Russia again. I can see the same thing happening against N Korea, who is allied with China, whose interference in the Korean War is why N Korea and its despot exists as it does. If it weren't for China and Russia, do you really think we'd allow N Korea to exist as it does, enslaved and oppressed by their ruler as they are? A lot of us are glad that something is actually getting done. However, even the world leaders supporting his action doubt his ability to handle things the right way. They support the action, not the man.

So someone in arena gave Linde Fury 3 (atk, spd, def, res +3, -6 hp after combat) And vantage 3 (retaliate first if attacked at <= 75% hp. Friggin' evil. But I still one shot her with Kagero. I would have been sunk otherwise. Plus she was teamed up with an Olivia.

I'd only heard your first track when I posted, so I posted with that in mind. Have to say you sound more confident in your second one. The first one had less of the philosophical questions. it wasn't you that missed a few things, I apparently completely missed your second track up until now, so there's that. Who were some of your favorite characters in Wheel of Time? Were there story sections that really resonated with you or anything? Which 'bad guys' seemed the most interesting to you? -
I wouldn't know. I've played maybe two zelda games to completion and a smattering of some others. The ones I played were Link's Awakening (GB) and Oracle of Ages (GBC, though it was paired with Oracle of seasons which was definitely different as far as gameplay puzzle and exploration tools). It's been such a long time since I played either so I really couldn't describe 'em to you. I've started a bunch of the 3D zelda games and I lost interest fast. They all start off super slow and it mostly just bored me. There were dungeons and areas that just dragged on too long or there was way too much backtracking across the map and revisiting places with newly acquired items. Travel is just a pain in the ass, but that was all somewhat true for the 2D games as well. The thing about the 3D games that bugged me was that the action was very simple and limited without being exciting. BotW is a step of improvement in that regards but it still looked very underwhelming to me.

Favs: Mystic Shine Ball- aesthetic reasons Solemn Wishes- card art, card effect La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp- old school orignail 4 star badass, back in the day when that was the highest attack one could summon without a sacrifice. The elemental charmers and associated cards... Least favorites? Dark Magician- overrated AF, really weak for a 2 sacrifice summon and that's pretty much it off the top of my head. I might remember more later or if I spend time looking at a catalogue of cards or something.

Ah, I see. @Tartar - I forgot to mention that the story maps have normal, hard and lunatic versions of them. You can clear all the missions once on each difficulty for an orb. It adds up to quite a few.
-
@Fabled Asian You're missing a 0 next to a few of those K's there, buddy. And just so you know, when you inherit a weapon, you have to inherit their precursors unless you happen to have them already. For fred, I only needed the Killer axe because the axe precursors were the same for the hammer. So unless you have the precursors already or get a set from somewhere else, you won't be able to get that Gronnraven+, just the Gronnraven. So that might interfere with your plans to pass it on, if that's what you're doing.

The upside- they take out the hit/miss rng and what you see is what you get as far as units dealing damage to each other. It's definitely smaller than a regular game and has other unusual considerations for it because it runs as a mobile app. The mobility works a bit differently but not that different. Obviously the skill system is different with some different limitations and an inheritance system that somewhat works in place of re-classing. You can't set your units on the map, which can be a huge pain. The story segments are on the weak side with no way to re-view the dialogue, just the unique summon animations for a few of the characters if you pull them. True, the daily orb drops are down because of events and stuff giving us other things instead but... those of us who've played have to stop and remember: anyone starting now still has a lot of orbs to look forward to right away. When you do the story missions, you'll get an orb for your first completion. There are also sort of special maps that change each day, but they've cycled between the same characters so far so you'll have the opportunity for a few free units if you can beat their challenge. You'd only be missing out on a few, like Ursula, who were their own more difficult challenges. As far as grinding, you really don't need to do much at the beginning. Do a few missions and save up 5 more orbs before doing a full summoning (you start the game with 15, and if you link your Nintendo ID to it, you'll get another 10 free) so you can. You'll be able to go through the story missions multiple times (without the initial dialogue scenes) but they'll cost more energy, give less exp, and won't give you anything unless you're doing some fountain challenge. To grind up for exp there is the training tower, which has random enemies, but you can see their overall level and star difficulty as well as the weapon type each enemy is. But be aware that a blue lance shown doesn't tell you if that lancer is infantry, mounted/flying, or armored. I think the main reason we are highly discourage from repeating story missions (is because people will have mapped out every detail of every mission and made farming for certain challenges and things super easy).

Okay, now that her focus was gone and after all the orbs I spent trying to get her, I get a Ninian out of the easter focus and still no easter units.

I'm still trying to pull a unit that gets killer hammer, because yeah, I really want that for him. And I now have two 5* Lindes but they're not up to level yet. I also have Azura who is at 32, and a 4* Femui at 40, 4* Shanna at 36. Oboro at 24. I've got 3 Efies but the highest is at 20 and a 24 Gwendolyn. Oh, and I got a 4* Reinhardt I'm working on I've neglected them since I changed gears to raising up people for inheritance. Oh, I guess I do have a few 3* Berukas who can get killer axe. time to work on her. why would you want a weak team for defense? You want them to win.
-
Yeah, I've got 69 crests myself, but I used a few last week because there were several days when I hadn't used my daily dueling swords. And they did keep giving us arena crests for arena duel promotions. Plus, you get one every day for winning one arena duel, which is implicitly for that 4th win a day for that measly extra 100 feathers. But hey, 10 days in a row with no net crest loss is 1k feathers. Kinda hard to knock it in those terms. I think I get more defense results if put Frederick out as my visible team leader than I do if I leave Kagero on. No one is afraid of him. With all the sword and magic users out there, which he actually is super weak to (seriously, the man has only 13 Res), he is my bait unit. It's really Kagero, Tiki, and Cecilia who bring the pain. Does anyone else have a similar unit?
-
A med/neutral attack with Kagero would still be 40 with the life and death boost. with poison dagger+ on Kagero, as is natural for a 5* with (+ atk - def), she would have 48 atk and 37 speed. With Jaffar's deathly dagger she would be at 54 atk. With the defense on Gaius (19/22/25) -5 or Res (16/19/22) -5, you'd best hope that the foe can't retaliate.
-
Felicia ends up with 6 base mt lower than Kagero at max atk IV's for both of them and weapons considered... but she does have a much higher overall resistance than Kagero of +12 res compared to a Res IV felicia and a medium IV Kagero (only +7 if they were both Med). However Kagero comes with warding blow (+6 Res on attack, so Felicia would only have a +1 advantage then) to help her mage kills whereas a Felicia has res +3 at all times. A 5* felicia at med speed does have 5 speed above above a 5* kagero at medium speed- though Kagero gets dagger breaker naturally and would easily double hit Felicia to death on attack. Not to mention Poison dagger's advantage against infantry units like felicia. At medium IV's, kagero would have 4 more def than felicia as well as having more attack. Felicia has -7 Def/Res on whatever she hits afterwards. Kagero expects to kill whatever she hits, as long as it is infantry. And if they happen to survive, they still get -4 def/res for someone else to sweep in and clean up.
-
Maybe my Felicia is weak af cuz she's 2 stars but she was hardly worth using when I tried to raise her up for her skills. On a ranged character like her, breath of life is far more useful than it is on young tiki, who gets it naturally, but is used as a bulky initiator and not as someone who attacks after anyone else. Neither silver dagger nor glacies is worth it from what I can tell. And even the wiki places Kagero at S rank and Felicia as B rank. https://feheroes.wiki/Tier_List At this point I have two Linde's. What skills should I giver her? She's not max level yet but decent skills could get her there? I didn't check my first one but my second Linde has bad IV's.... As of now, the 5* I have that are high tiered are Linde, Azura, and Takumi, with Kagero at S just below them. I don't think Eiricka is S tiered like Kagero is, seeing as she isn't that good on her own, nor does she really support other units that strongly. Ah, now I see what you're saying. My Kagero is lucky enough to be +Atk - Def, what is considered the best IV for her. But there are other quick characters out there, so I think darting blow 3 (despite being a 5* ability) is a better choice for trying to end fast characters by doubling them in one round.

Excuse you, that man has smoke dagger (6 might, -4 def/res within 2 spaces of attack target), harsh command, poison strike 3 (b skill), 10 damage, and spur speed 2 at 4 stars. Rethink your bad luck there, buddy. On his own he clears npc waves or gets them ready to die. ngl, I explored other ninjas besides kagero and saizo came up as good support and Jaffar was better support, but neither was a killer like her. nor did jaffar have the atk, speed, resistance or abilities to compare with Kagero. Saizo weakens... but
