True, darting blow would pretty much guarantee two hits on attack and that means death for so many units... But yeah, if anything, I'd rather keep all my 5* units and add onto them instead of the other way around. I like Shanna as shanna, but desperation might be super OP on Takumi... Anyways, I'll probably just edit the OP with my units, what they're missing, and what units i'm willing to give up who seem to have good abilities.

I know I like to post of a lot politically charged videos instead of writing out long arguments and debates of my own, but that's because when it comes to a lot of important points and arguments, they generally say what I probably would have said but in a more comedic and or poignant way. Effie is a wierd one to choose to get to 5* first though. I feel like I got a lot out of turning 2 and 3 star units into 4 star units. I got a 4 star merric so I'm raising him up. promoted draug to 4* and working on him as well. Even got a 4* Cherche who seems to do alright. Aside from Frederick, Kagero, Tiki, and Cecilia at lvl 40 already... I've got these I'm working up towards 40 and have been my arena team this week. takumi- 38 5* Femui- 35 4* Eirika- 34 5* Elise- 32 5* and then there's Bartre, Caeda, and Camilla at 28 Shanna 26 Azama, and Bartre 25 Efie and Roy 24... oh, that reminds me. I'll probably be posting in here, making a list of people I want with open slots for skills to fill via inheritance as well as low star fodder with potentially good inheritable skills. like Kagero, who has no C ability or a support ability, and 2* Mathew who could potentially give rogue dagger (wpn), poison strike (B skill), and hone speed (C skill).

maybe if they score high enough to be ranked, which requires a straight 7 wins on hard? I've been doing intermediate exclusively to get the monthly challenge rewards. This week I'm getting 1500 from offense and 400 from defense, and maybe it'll only let you scroll higher with a higher score, but it only shows 1600 feathers for getting 3001 points or greather. How do you get 7k? also, tfw you look at your roster and realize you have 3 x 4* Effies. Who should I give Death Blow to?

most impact doesn't necessarily mean the best though. And that's the topic of the thread. Some people have cited impact as their reasoning. That doesn't apply to everyone. pokemon and reborn could probably be argued as having the most impact on me, considering the longstanding I have with this place and the people that have come and gone. Doesn't mean I think either are the greatest. I have lots of game music. Would the game I have the most music from be considered the best? What about the one with the most cumulative plays? What about the games I've played the longest? How many hours I've sunk into halo or destiny compared to pokemon or single player adventure games that have a definite end? there is so much depth to go through. This connoisseur doesn't take the idea as lightly as others. That's actually a lot of games. I replayed Super Godzilla recently. I still knew the paths to take, the strategies to use, the attacks to avoid using against certain bosses. I still know by heart the password for the last area in Spider-Man and Venom: Separation anxiety. I still remember lots of my first playthrough of earthbound, and how I named the characters after irl friends. How many times did I run through that halo 2 campaign? Destiny strikes and raids run like clockwork now. I even re-watched a specific story segment in Soul Sacrifice the other day because that bit has so much build up to that rush of feels at the end and my vita is awol. I would probably name the Tiny Tina dlc in borderlands 2 as the best dlc ever, at first, but then I'd have to argue with myself over the Taken King expansion in Destiny. How often do I replay Dancing All Night, or theaterhythm, or rock band for the music? I could go on and on.

I feel like you really haven't played many games if you can really single out just one game. There's a lot of greatness out there... Story, campaign, multiplayer, gameplay mechanics, replayability, coop, competitive, music... There's so many aspects to look at and so much to choose from and for different and/or a combination of reasons. Many games standout. If I were to make as presumptuous a statement as you did, I would say that you've played only a handful of games.

You weren't wrong about the game cheating at higher levels. I figured I'd try for the 10th stratum training and there was a Frederick who could counter at any range. Can't wait for the skill inheritance. I just have to wonder if you really have to raise 'em up and unlock the skills or if you can give a character the whole skill class. Like, say you have a 3* Bartre with Brash assault 2. If you give it to a higher star character, can you upgrade it to Brash Assault 3 or are you stuck with 2? Though, tbh, I'd probably inherit smite or hammer instead of that, but you get the idea.

So... I finally decided to try this out. I'm playing on PS4 so chances are I won't be able to play with you as a result of my aversion to pc gaming but I thought I'd come by and say hello. And as for help/tips. I've only just finished the 4 tutorial matches. I replayed the last arena one because I felt like I was starting to understand how Thor worked (was Nief and Ra the other times). I think the extra practice paid off because I think I did quite well, even if my team seemed to be doing so-so in my first Arena coop vs AI (medium). So, am I doin' it right? At this point, what do you recommend? I'm really liking the way Thor plays but his limited mana pool early game keeps me running back to base all too often. can someone explain the two currencies and what I should do with 'em? I'm glad they have an auto-shop thing or that would be such a huge hassle for a beginner like me. Is there any way to change it so that is auto-shops for other stuff? And if so, what should I change it to? Also, I'm seeing something for a King Kappa. Seems real interesting.

I think planning marriages based on stats and growths really goes against the whole point of support convos and in game relationship pairing...

Roy is easier to raise than Draug, but I think Roy underperforms pretty hard while Draug does really well. 4*, lv4 24 - Roy 28 atk, 21 spd 15 def, 19 res 3*, lvl 25 Draug 22 atk, 17 spd 26 def, 9 res Draug has brave sword, while Roy has triangle adept. If you really need someone to pick off mages, go with roy, but otherwise he's really not good front line stuff, which he needs to be since he's not a ranged attacker. At best he's a follow up attacker to mop up what Draug left behind. He hits hard-ish and folds fast.

In most games that would be enough to drop merric but in this game, it really does take those extra 5 levels for just a few tiny gains. Chances are she'll be about the same and not better.
