Kaze no Stigma goes off track though and it's like not much as far as the main plot ever really happens. Still enjoyed it for the most part.

I am also ready to ditch the fire/fighting starter idea. Starts to kill the uniqueness of starters if they end up with mostly the same moves. I wouldn't mind if froakie stayed pure water. I doubt his evolutions will make him all too similar to the previous water starters, but I wouldn't mind it either if they gave him a second typing, like ice. Until I see evolutions for chespin, I'm probably not really gonna care about his line at all. It probably will have duo typing but I'm still not thrilled with him atm.

He is saying that samurott looks and is named like something that should be water/fighting, but gamefreak said "Nah, it'll just be water type." Game freak is a troll. All we know is Mawile is getting a mega evolution. Everything else in bold is just speculation but as the others said, you keep saying things like those as if those are facts. Such things have not been announced by any legitimate representative. So rumors they are. So... you're pissed people are disagreeing with your opinions, suddenly making them into high and mighty and rude? Ikaru was nice when he said the pot calling the kettle black. Really, it's the pot calling Casper black. It's all nice that some people might speculate the same as you. You've seriously been nothing but rude and ill mannered to anyone who's disagreed with you, and that just happens to be nearly everybody in this thread. Also, posting multiple times in succession instead of editing your post if there are no replies in between is widely considered bad forum etiquette. If you think he's high and mighty to remind you of that... well, you really don't have a leg to stand on here. This is my warning to you as moderator to simply agree or disagree based the merits of the argument as you see them rather than lashing out at people who disagree for the various reasons they've posted, just as others have done for you. where the hell did that put on moderator preview option go?

It's more me saying that they've introduced too many dragons than as any reason why it wouldn't be a dragon type. Kind of tired of 'em really. (IMO does denote subjectivity, not logic, after all) Form and function. That is my answer as to why I don't think Froakie will become dual type. At this stage, it doesn't lend itself to acquiring a second type (ie, I do not see any features that could change to take advantage of some other elemet) I've seen an animation of froakie attacking with the white stuff behind its head, leading me to concur that it's based off the foamy secretion some frogs make to house their eggs/tadpoles. Chespin, being the spiny nut pokemon resembles a squirrel or chipmunk than it does a hedgehog, but its earthy brown color lends it a possibility of an earth type (as with turtwig). It's description of being always optimistic doesn't fit something that would likely become a dark type. And fennekin could very easily be another pure fire type. It has a frail looking form, which one would think would pronounce a creature reliant on its special attacks and abilities. If you'll notice, gen 5 had one dual type and the other two were single types in their final forms, so it is not without precedent.

This whole post smells like a whole lot of rumor mill. Anyways, the starters' types are already determined to be singularly fire, grass, and water. Unless you mean the unrevealed evolutions, in which case it seems very likely fennekin's evo's will be fire/psychic, however I see no indications whatsoever froakie would evolve to gain fighting type, and chespin looks more to follow torterra and gain an earth type than a dark type. Their currents forms don't lead me to think it likely that they will gain a second type whatsoever. So far, I've not seen anywhere by anyone of another eeveelution, much less heard of one as confirmed. I had to look hard just now to find someone with a theory saying there was going to be one based on past typing and very derivative logic. He too said it would probably be dragon type. We've already got way too many dragons in my opinion. The only reasons I see for the possibility of another eeveelution is the continued theme of X and Y (probably with a more masculine looking design) and a new eeveelution wouldn't just come by itself but rather show off another aspect (areas/stones) or opposite end of the spectrum (day/night) of some new mechanic. In this case, the new mechanic is probably the pokemon Amie feature.

Oh, it's definitely gonna happen. Spyro's Skylander's and that new Disney characters game has already done the field testing for them. Collecting figurines and chips and shit that will let you play the ones you want. And as far as the arcade thing goes, I don't know of many, and they did already release a version for the 3DS in Japan so it's far more likely that we'll see that here rather than arcade editions.

It's a bot, but it's actually rather interesting to read the story fragments.
