Did nintendo say they would like to work with those companies in general for future games, or specifically for a new SSB? I can't find a video of the actual announcement made at e3 regarding SSB4. While Ryu is a good character and all that... he really wouldn't fit in to the fighting style SSB embodies. Hmm... well, Super Hadouken final smash, hadouken as a chargeable special projectile, his spinny kick is his forward special that will count as a third jump like Ike's Quick Draw... up special/third jump would obviously be his dragon uppercut move. Perhaps also chargable for more reach, a bit like diddy kong's third jump. Okay, i change my mind, he could work. I don't think it would be good to add more than him though. Maybe M Bison to provide a foe, but that's stretching things. Just dumping in all those characters that are already in MvC3 wouldn't really work. Ryu and Megaman, yes. The others... not so much. Maybe amaterasu. The other characters are too serious and not really cartoony enough to fit in. Knuckles would be cool. He'd probably glide just like metknight but with more good old fashioned bashing power. Tails would probably have kirby style multi-jumps or flight like Pit. CoD? Nah. I could totally see an assist trophy calling in an airstrike, but otherwise the series is too serious and realistic to really be able to stick mario and co. into. A big, realisitic trench warfare stage with nitty gritty dirt and stuff... and then Mario jumping out of a trench on one side to throw a fireball at Ganon hiding inside a trench on the other side. "Our UAV is online!" Lol. yeah, that would work.

I still remember an early episode where brock gets vulpix and ekans and koffing have skirts on and by spinning, they deflected pikachu's electric attacks. Give Blastoise Hydration instead of Rain Dish for DW ability. Or add Calm Mind and Bulk Up to its move pool. Give torkoal flare blitz(?) or just some good physical fire move. Give Hitmonchan that Iron fist ability or whatever that Golurk has. Make rapid spin a priority attack. ... I'll think of more, maybe.

HP on a physical attacker like Seaking is rather wtf. It will do some damage, but not much. Try something else. Also, bullet seed is kind of a terrible move. Again, try something else. Also, Storm Drain or Dry skin + that bulb thing might be something to look into.

Zoroark as a replacement for lucario seems plausible, given the record, but I can only imagine it as having a similar moveset to Wolf- claw attacks. Also, it would likely have an Illusion based counter attack (like lucario's double team). Bowser jr would be... what, like a heavier hitting squirtle? I have no idea what kind of attacks he would have. And as Wolf has been known to point out, Capcom is generally very generous in lending out characters for crossover battle scenarios and such. I would prefer BN megaman, but likely we'd see classic megaman with moves likely to be heavily based on the 2D fighters he's already in. I would really like to see Isaac in, but in Brawl we saw them deliberately limit the number of sword fighters in the game. You can only do so much with sword styles before they all become the same stuff. But fortunately for Isaac, he also has psynergy and djinn and summons, fertile grounds for deriving lots of cool special attacks and final smash. As far as third party goes, Nintendo may be more open to including more of them, but probably not if they have to pay the other companies some kind of royalty for using their character. Sonic and Snake were obviously last minute inclusions into Brawl, as evidenced by their late parts in SSE and their levels of broken-ness (snake in general, and sonic's final smash).

It was a tough choice between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, but I went with sharp ol' Slytherin. The trick would be maintaining/adjusting those lines you won't cross.
