The forum and server we frequent aren't free and are brought to us by the kindness of certain peoples here. This could easily become a dictatorship if that was what they wanted. But it is not, and it has not. Demanding rights and certain changes the way you have, Geo, is not reasonable at all. Ame, being the person that he is, has been working both for us and with us this whole time. He is still the one who makes the decisions on management. And trust me, if I were management, I wouldn't implement policy and changes for every idea with popular support. I am not arguing against finding friends, as is implied by your post, cyrus. But rather I am saying you can't please everyone... and you really shouldn't try to. That isn't to say you can't compromise, but you cannot compromise yourself EVERY TIME. And so, some people are friends and some are not. The internet makes it easier to find people who share our interests and are comfortable company.

I won't lie and say things will be alright when I don't think so, nevermind the nitpickyness of arguing that no one knows the future (cuz with with enough knowledge and experience, you can make some damn good guestimations). Now take a moment and appreciate the true depth of the meaning of guestimation. 2. There is a difference between nice and purposely hurtful. You cannot be true to yourself and still completely agree with everybody. It is reasonable to compromise when both are willing to compromise. However, to be the one always having to adapt to the will of someone else who CANNOT EVER compromise? That is unreasonable- and that is the quiet, passive self I have long since made a decision to leave behind. To ask me to be more politic when doing so (and when I strive for the neutrality of fact in anycase) is not only handicapping the 'victim' but is asking me to accept that the victim's frailty has priority to my own lack there-of?!?! That is asking for a one-sided compromise and I will not accept. When something is bothering me, I will address it. If you do not want my attention on something, do not parade it somewhere my attention is already focused. My well of sympathy has pretty much dried up now, and it took the majority of 24 years to do so. At times, I do play the Devil's advocate, but not this time. People women think with their emotions, not with their brains. They don't love the person. They love the way they make them feel. The players, as I shall call them, actually use their brains to manipulates those emotions. They say the right things at the right time, etc, etc. That is why they are drawn to the 'bad boys.' They make them feel special, and it makes them think they can be the one to change 'em. LOL. Love is often dubbed a drug for a reason. It's like an addiction. People will put up with a lot of crap just to get those fleeting moments of bliss. And so they are strung along, even though they know better.

In direct contradiction to Ame, my own findings have been that those jerkfaces and others know how to let people close. They're just very selective and they're more in it for the profit than the average person, and even more so than the average nice person. And people are attracted to the jerfaces because they project strength, confidence, and apparently some know how to make people laugh at the expense of whoever they feel like at the moment while others have less offensive wit. And are they the ones losing out? Going on dates and having fun until they decide they want to finally settle down? These people have options and are still out there searching for the best ones they can snag for themselves. So really, who around here is the one rationalizing what they do and don't have? Options. You need to figure out how to create them for yourselves. And from someone who is somewhere in between these two polar opposites, I can it's not by merely being quiet or nice all the time or givng in to other's others demands because you could care less either way. You have to be firm and you have to do something to get noticed. AND you have to do something to compensate for your shortcomings. Let's get real here and no more rationlization.

Japan has been pretty green peace and all hippie-like since two nukes landed in their neighborhood. So of course they would see a return to nature and old time traditions as the answer to the negative changes that coincide with technology and expansion. But that's all black and white. The daring visionary and explorer sees that these can't be the only two choices. I don't think i can comment anymore just yet, as I have not really done much after beating N and G. All I've done up to now is reluctantly venture onto a few routes where the average trainer has unevolved pokemon around 17 lvls higher than any one of my pokemon, and then the random good trainers with evolved pokemon who aren't afraid to attack in the first 4 turns. I swear, the only two pokemon pulling their weight are carracosta and galvantula. serperior just doesn't see much use anymore while krookodile, basurao and pantslizard get ko'd too easily. That should change a little bit, now that i made it to the transfer station across the bridge and imported a bunch of pokemon from HG. I really wish it would let me transfer the hold items too. especially the spc atk bracer. there are no fucking pokemon for spc atk ev training in b/w!!!! And yeah, i don't really know anything about black city and white forest at all. except that you can catch some different pokemon in white forest. And that you can supposedly battle trainers in black city.

But the name I came up with for the ability is Storm Break. But I guess that doesn't exactly fit in as well with sunny day weather. 2. Clear Sky/ Storm Break doesn't really fit a grass/fire pokemon imo, so I would argue that we pick to focus on a pokemon with one or the other. If anything, the typing would make it a perfect Sunnyd Day whore. ahem. 3. Silly bullet, you're missing the point of an anti-weather pokemon. Really it DOES fix the problem of weather whores and having to counter weather with weather by simply neutralizing it. People already play ridiculous switch-in/out games with their weather setters just to keep their advantage from completely reversing. He who can keep their own weather up wins... that's not ideal at all, but that is the reality right now. You can still use weather, but it's just another thing to watch out for as possible downsides that using any one strategy or tactic should have. Really it makes it reasonable to have a team be destroyed by anti-weather because the whole team is built to rely on one little thing so much. It SHOULD have that inherent risk to balance out the obviously large gains it's associated with. Neutralization restores balance, restores the cons to the pros-and-cons aspect of tactics.
