So.. first thing's first, thank's Winter for showing us this awesome RMT generator. It's amazing <3 Secondly, the actual introduction. Almost every other team of mine was influenced by some other team, or just copied for lulz. (mostly the weathers, which I don't use cause I hate them >_>) This one, however, was designed by me. Built: by me. And you'd best hope.. not pointed at you.
TF2 references aside, let's just get into it~
@ Life Orb
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Fake Out
- Hi Jump Kick
- U-turn
Mienshao has to be my favorite lead ever. He pretty much does 4 things within the team.
1 - He can disrupt and even kill the opposing lead without breaking too much of a sweat.
2 - If the lead is going to use Stealth rock, after the Fake-out, he doesn't have to sacrifice momentum by just switching into Espeon, but can U-turn.
3 - Said U-turn creates momentum in tandem with Rotom-W
4 - Can constantly come back in, due to regenerator's 33% HP increase, making it much more than simply a lead, and gives it a bit of a gluey property.
I've chosen Hidden Power - Ice over Stone Edge simply due to opposing Gliscor, again for the sake of momentum, as well as the fact that I don't want Porygon2 getting poisoned if said Gliscor is carrying Toxic/Fling.
Oh, and Hi-Jump Kick is the bossiest move ever. [s]When it doesn't miss[/s].
@ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Volt Switch
It's really hard to make a team without Rotom-W for me anymore, simply because this team showed off his usefulness so well. Despite being a rather fast "sweeper," he also has a list of other great uses. [s]Yay lists[/s].
1. 107/107 Defenses are nothing to scoff at, and this washing machine is much much bulkier than it appears.
2. It can easily revenge kill certain opponents.
3. Because it can revenge kill them so easily, they have a tendency to switch out, Volt Switch keeps the momentum on my side.
4. Lol Porygon2 get out of here with that Eviolite. :c
5. Gets stains out the first time!
One thing I would consider changing is the Hidden Power type, I dunno, Ice just doesn't seem that effective with the rest of my team.
@ Lum Berry
Trait: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Brick Break
Haxorus' Nickname on my team is "Intaccare," which literally translated, means "Damage." This is extremely true on both ends. Haxorus is next to the term "Glass Cannon" in the dictionary, because despite having 427 Atk before any ballet is involved, it is really bad at taking a hit. This is mitigated VERY nicely by second Pokémon down from this, and is the reason I would even consider using Haxxy. There isn't that much to explain here, other than the fact that you really want dual screens up before you bring this guy out. If you can, however, Espeon + Haxorus is one of the most common win conditions of this team, but shouldn't be used recklessly. Also, for the love of god, use Rotom-W and Mienshao to scout before you start raging all over the place. Steels don't care how high your attack is, they'll hurt you.
(Fun fact, Mold breaker goes through Multiscale <333)
@ Eviolite
Trait: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
- Recover
Ikaru has named Porygon2 "Inuki's Signature Pokemon." And for very good reason, Porygon2 is on nearly all of my teams. Porygon2 can be best described as my panic button. And my "Oh hey, a Dragon" button. Even more fun is when I can Dual Screen and then send out Porygon2. 30 damage from a mach punch, okay!
Meanwhile, Boltbeam's for coverage, Thunder Wave over Toxic for trolling and hax purposes, and also to ensure that I will be able to recover off something like a crit, or just a high damage move off life orb. (Using the opponent's life orb to make them kill themself is certainly a fun thing to do.)
Porygon2 only has 2 real weaknesses, and those are Toxic and Conkledurr. It really just can't compete with Conkledurr, it's just too strong.
@ Light Clay
Trait: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Grass Knot
- Psyshock
Oh I love this little pink ball of troll. Magic Bounce is, and forever will be, Espeon's main selling point. Sending back entry hazards is extremely useful for this team in general, as is sending back status, and completely sending back Whimsicott. Dual Screens are mainly for Haxorus to get off his sweep, but in practicality, nothing is going to mind taking half damage from attacks, plain and simple. I recently changed Hidden Power Fighting to Grass Knot, simply because anything that I would be using HP Fighting on was simply not taking any damage. Now it's not quite as much of a sitting duck, and can get rid of Quagsire, and do a decent amount of damage to Hippowdon, instead of just sending back rocks and then.. nothing.
Meanwhile, Psyshock is just cool. Even though Blissey is rather rare now, Magic Bounce still makes Chansey about useless against Espeon.[sup][Citation Needed][/sup]
@ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Toxic
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake
- Protect
I love Gliscor for one reason.. well multiple reasons really, but mostly for one reason. He destroys Excadrill if it doesn't have +4. To elaborate on that, he practically destroys complete sand teams once all of their Hidden Power - Icers / Ice Beamers are gone. Meanwhile, Toxic Orb healing plays a double role in making Gliscor an effective switch-in to something that wants to use status to hurt you. (I'm looking at you Breloom.) Of course don't do that BEFORE you're toxic'd, but it's nice being immune to statuses. Ice Fang is just.. good. I can't really say what for, but.. again Breloom, I'm looking at you. Half the time, Ice Fang is either used for Dragons, or to pop Excadrill's Balloon. Then EQEQEQEQEQEQEQ. (loljk it only takes 1 to kill it, usually.)
Using Toxic instead of Fling is a preference due to having Ice fang, but I just like this one better because it can, if needed, toxic stall more than one Pokémon. (And you don't get fucked as hard if they switch in a steel type.)
Threats:
Dugtrio- Dugtio's a threat? Well.. 2 of my Pokemon fly, 2 of my pokemon couldn't care less about physical attacks, 1 shouldn't be out without reflects anyway, and that leaves Espeon and Mienshao. Mienshao can live through and EQ and kick it to death, or U-turn out into Rotom-W for tons of momentum! Dugtrio would also likely try to Sucker punch Espeon, so Reflect > Grass Knot
Alakazam- I haven't had much fighting with Zam lately, but it's extremely annoying. All I can really do is hope that Focus Blast misses Porygon2, to paralyse it. Also enough chipping away with Rotom-W can fix it. Gliscor can do a little bit too seeing as it lives with about 13% left.
Gastrodon- Toxic Stall or Grass Knot. (Likely grass knot cause lol HP Ice?)
Celebi- U-turn, Ice Fang, Ice Beam.
Magnezone- They always carry HP Ice, so usually attack it with Rotom-W first before going into Gliscor to EQ it. I have no steel for it to trap, though. So that's handy.
Quagsire- Grass Knot / Toxic Stall
Donphan- KYIK. Or Porygon2 in general.
Jolteon- Porygon2 Switch in to take Volt Absorb.
Slowbro- U-turn into Volt Switch into U-turn << >> Also if I can toxic it, that'd be pretty great. Also trick Choice Scarf to it if needed.
Zapdos- Ew ew ew. Zapdos is hard. I'd probably try to get a Light Screen up and then.. well then it doesn't matter a whole lot I wouldn't think. Toxic stall, again, would be decent too, but dat HP Ice.
Abomasnow- KYIK. Seeing as Abomasnow are always leads anyway.
Latios- Porygon2 and Rotom-W to an extent. Light Screen in general.
Excadrill- Gliscor
Conkeldurr- Gliscor, Espeon to an extent.
Hydreigon-Porygon2 and KYIK.
Volcarona- DO NOT LET IT SET UP. Rotom-W as FAST AS YOU CAN. And hope to god that you got to bounce back rocks.
Terrakion- Gliscor, Rotom-W and Espeon
Landorus- Porygon2 and Gliscor if there's no HP Ice (Which is common, so I'd normally go to Porygon2
Chandelure- Depends on who gets revenge killed by it, cause it's practically inevitable. I can deal with it pretty simply, but... all depends on what it does and who it kills.
Haxorus- Gliscor, Rotom-W, KYIK, Porygon2 to the extreme
Virizion- I'm not sure. I've never fought one but.. KYIK, Toxic Stall, Espeon, and Porygon2 would probably be my best bet.
Scrafty- KYIK. Toxic Stall too but watch out for Ice Punch.
Reuniclus- Trick a Choice Scarf, U-turn shenanigans, Haxorus in general.
Victini- Gliscor and Rotom-W
Mienshao- Espeon if it wins the speed tie, or if Mienshao has HP - Ice. Gliscor if it doesn't.
Darmanitan- Gliscor, Rotom-W, Porygon2
Keldeo- Espeon and Porygon2
Genesect- Rotom-W and, if it's scarfed and didn't use Ice Beam, send in Gliscor for Momentum. Also Espeon for the same reason if needed.
Tornadus- Porygon2, Rotom-W
Latias- Same as Latios really.
Salamence- lolPorygon2
Cloyster- Best Case Scenario is having one of my switchers out. If so, U-turn or Volt Switch into Porygon2. If not, Pory2 on the smash and paralyse it.
Politoed- KYIK, predictive toxic stall, Light Screen
Venusaur- Magic Bounce Sleep Powder, Ice Fang, let something be put to sleep and then Porygon2
Ninetails- KYIK. Gliscor, Espeon, Porygon2. Not really a problem.
Toxicroak- Espeon and Volt Switch shenanigans. Trick if I'm desperate.
Breloom- Espeon Espeon and more Espeon. Gliscor too, if it's already been out and is sufficiently intoxicated.
Ditto- Depends very highly on what it copied. Just look at the threat lists, and then give them a scarf.
Scizor- Gliscor and Rotom-W
Ludicolo- Espeon, pray to Light Screen. I really dislike Ludicolo.
Metagross- These exist? EQ, Rotom-W, KYIK, Porygon2 stalling.
Infernape- Rotom-W, Gliscor, Sorta Porygon2
Heatran- Rotom-W, Porygon2, KYIK.
Dragonite- Haxorus totally. Also Porygon2 lolol
Jirachi- Rotom-W or Porygon2. Also Gliscor if it's previously poisoned.
Rotom-W- Rotom-W Volt Switch shenanigans, or Gliscor. Or both! depending on if it's scarfed or not.
Gyarados- Porygon2 and Volt Switch
Suicune- Rotom-W, KYIK
Kabutops- Porygon2
Tyranitar- KYIK, Rotom-W / Gliscor depending on the moveset.
Gliscor- Porygon2, Mienshao, Rotom-W, and my own Gliscor.
Blissey- Anything with a Psysical move >_>
Bronzong- KYIK, Trick, Haxorus.
Chansey- Same with Blissey only slightly less so.
Deoxys-s- Uber here so it doesn't matter.
Espeon- Rotom-W, Haxorus can set up pretty decently. Lol Brick Break.
Ferrothorn- Haxorus Set-up, Trick, KYIK, Espeon
Forretress- Dual Screen Set-up, sorta KYIK, sorta Rotom-W. Mostly Espeon.
Gorebyss- Rotom-W before it passes oh god. If it does pass then.. yeah, I dunno.
Hippowdon- Rotom-W, Gliscor, Espeon.
Jellicent- Espeon, Rotom-W sorta, Haxorus Sorta, everything sorta.
Mew- U-turn, Gliscor, Espeon Set-up because it just passes to things.
Porygon2- KILL IT WITH KYIK or sacrifice gliscor to toxic it cause.. I use it for a reason << >>
Skarmory- KYIKKKKK and Rotom-W. Porygon2 too but eh.
Tentacruel- Espeon, Gliscor, Haxorus
Vaporeon- Kill. It. With. Anything. You. Can. Kill. It. With. Normally a KYIK or a trick with Rotom-W
Whimsicott- lol Espeon. U-turn / Volt Swtich Shenanigans.
Sableye- TROLOLOL. Espeon though, or Haxorus if desperate measures are needed cause Lum berry.
It's very possible that I missed some things I could do in the threat list, cause.. well, I'm a derp, what can I say. Hope you enjoyed it, and.. please, criticism isn't only tolerated but extremely helpful! I might make this a little prettier in the future, I dunno, but thanks again, Winter, for showing us the RMT maker. So useful <3
