  1. I'll throw in 2 fairly short ones. 1. Moth Invasion about 2 years ago. Moths. Moths everywhere. It was worst at school. I don't think I can properly convey how many there were. I kicked the bleachers and there were so many you could barely see in the gym. In the lunchroom too. Dying in disgusting smelly piles in the hallways and in the vents and it was just disgusting. accurate video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvA4qMoIlyY 2. Birds I used to live in N. Carolina. There was an incident where flocks of birds would just fall out the sky dead. There was no smog that anyone was aware of but it was extremely strange.
  2. School days I kind of get out slow. School starts at 8 but I wake up around 5:30 so I can take my time. Weekends/Summer I sleep till 9 or if I'm really tired, 11. However I usually have a bunch of crap going on (viola/acting/voice/dance lessons or rehersal) so usually 9. Regardless I love coffee or tea in the morning to slap myself awake. And as for alarms, I have 3: The last of which plays loud rap music.

  8. UU Pokemon Showcase! (I apologize for my lateness. When you're involved in as many things as I am you're lucky to have time to even do homework.) ENOUGH EXCUSES!!! Donphan Don Quixote (Donphan) @ Assault Vest or Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe Adamant Nature - Rapid Spin/Endeavor - Earthquake - Knock Off/Stealth Rock - Ice Shard This is Donphan's standard and in my opinion most effective set. I kind of lumped two together but the components are interchangable to suit your needs. It combines a healthy balance of offense and defense and Sturdy ensures it a chance to use a move. Donphan can set up rocks and spin away unwanted debris. It also gets the priority Ice Shard, that combined with Endeavor makes for an easy KO or forced switch out. Despite Donphan's hefty defense it sucks when it comes to special defense, even moreso to moves like Scald and Giga Drain. However for an offensive set Assault Vest comes in hand in those cases. Not to say Donphan won't take a hit but it may give you time to Endeavor, Knock Off or EQ the opponent. In most cases, Donphan is most effectively used during the start or early game. Types ofPokemon to stay away from: A majority if not all specially offensive water or grass types. It's not always wise to pin it against Hydreigon, most you can do is Ice Shard or Endeavor. Types of Pokemon you can do some damage to or can tank/set up on: In my experience, it mostly depends upon the sets of your opponent (sorry for the vagueness). However Donphan has gotten some leverage upon Jirachi which is mas bueno because that guy is a little stinker and will ruin your life. Most physically offensive pokemon (Darmanitan, Infernape, Arcanine, Aerodactyl). Donphan can also do nice damage to Blissey and Florges who can be pains. Knock Off on Donphan's offensive set really does damage to your opponent. But like I said, the tide of battle is heavily dependent. And there you have it. I apologize again for such a lengthy delay. Stress is at it's usual high (Les Mis rehersal just started and I've got 3 auditions in the next month). But i'll still try to get these in more around wednesday. Feedback on how I present information is always welcome too. n___n
  9. UU Pokemon Showcase with that guy who's kind of a spazz... ...I hope i'm doing this right. This weeks UU Pokemon is Absol > > > Recommended Movesets Moon Moon (Absol) (M) @ Absolite Ability: Super Luck Shiny: Yes EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Knock Off - Superpower - Sucker Punch - Swords Dance This is a set I like to use. 252 Speed allows M-Absol to outspeed many non-scarfed threats, however priority can become a problem so he is best used during mid- to late game. Absol also works well as a bait switcher which can allow you to get a free Swords Dance or Knock Off an incoming enemy's item. Superpower does well to deliver fatal, if not crippling blows to any pokemon, mainly bulky steel types. Magic Bounce can deflect status moves, however not many people with set up Spikes or Stealth Rocks on an Absol so it's ability works best if it has already mega evolved. Although I haven't gotten too many chances to do that. Absol also works well with pokemon that can force out or take care of fairies or that can eat moves from Florges or M-Aggron. Overall this set is great for late game sweeping and dealing monstrous damage to the opponent. Final Destination (Absol) @ Absolite Ability: Justified EVs: 252 Atk / 32 SpA / 224 Spe Jolly/Naive Nature - Sucker Punch - Knock Off - Fire Blast/ Ice Beam - Superpower This set is more offensively balanced an allows Absol to deal generous damage to both physically and specially defensive foes. Knock off and Fire Blast make it a good wallbreaker, effectively taking out Forretress and Chesnaught. Due to limited switch in oppurtunites Absol is a glass cannon and as I stated before should be used mid- to -late game or after it's threats have been weakend or preferably dissposed of. Glass cannon wise, I have seen most people prefer M-Beedril as it has more speed and acces to two different STABs (Poison/Bug) and U-turn. However the uses between Beedril and Absol can be different and vary depending upon what the rest of you team needs. I almost forgot to mention that it being used as a starter is also effective, as opponents likes to set up with Azelf or Forretress. It also gives Absol a chance to Sword's Dance, permitting early game sweeping or crippling (a strategy that I haven't tried in a while....that might be a good idea). So yeah, physical sweeper, pretty much sums that up. Obligatory cute gif to make you happy inside:

Once you leave Fortree City it does have a slightly noticeable bump in difficulty.

It's still easy, but the difficulty isn't why you should get the game.

    3. Cepheus

      Cepheus

difficult not really... even after Fortree City... Mossdeep Gym are 2 level 45 in a double battle,

while Sootopolis Gym is 5 lvl 44-46 and in between those is the legendary ... sooo yeah no real bump...

the biggest bump is the Elite 4 + Champ: Elite 4 starts with Level 50 + 52 and increasing one level per Member... but the Champ is Level 57 + 59

My Team was 58-61 after beating the Champ

  17. Well essentially the only ways to take it down are by somehow surviving a hit from it, Chansey/Blissey, mach punch, or Talonflame. Why? Well its speed is very high, it can be used as a physical attacker as well as a special attacker, it has coverage versitile to the point where anything you throw out is going to get hurt (possible exceptions with Chansey/Blissey), it can change types freely so good luck gambling on type coverage. You could argue that defenses are very low, which is absolutely true. Many OU attackers could OHKO it, that is, if they get a chance to attack. Plus carrying around a poke on your team strictly to counter/check another ONE is a bit impractical. So yeah, there's my arguement. Although I didn't add any calcs so make sure yourself.
