  1. Tyler1's and Gross Gore's bans took precedent over anyone else's because of the fact that they put themselves out there as essentially "Look, you can get away with doing bad things!" He was astoundingly bad long before the days leading up to his permaban. Meteos will eventually be investigated later on and you'll know if he is suspended via announcement on lolesports.com. Remember any ban he gets will come down very hard due to him being punished twice already by the LCS. They're both banned from Twitch, if you receive an indefinite ban from LoL then accounts associated with a permabanned account are often terminated as well.
  2. ZSS and Pikachu have taken a big fall as of late in the rankings (apparently this is not the first edition of the chart, but I didn't know that before today). Thinkaman's explanation for this is due to Zero Suit Samus's nerfs, as well as Pikachu's deceptive difficulty causing mid level players to fail miserably when they tried switching to the character. Sonic took a hit in his rankings because Cloud came into existence.
  3. I found this browsing Smashboards today. This is a list of characters and their overall tournament results numbers since patch 1.1.5; characters with the best overall results top the list, obviously. It was compiled and posted by Thinkaman, one of SB's Smash 4 Back Roomers, and while it does reflect a lot of what we've been seeing in various tier lists, there are indeed some surprises. Here it is:
  4. I got to meet the artist of this avy in person today at EGLX. That was hella cool.

  5. The indefinite ban is deserved, especially when right before the ban he was dumb enough to turn around and profusely claim it was an all "an act for entertainment's sake". Anyone who doesn't think he deserves it most likely just wants to be cool/cause a scene.
  6. Well, Guile's out and he's got a one-combo stun. Mahvel boys!
  7. Out of school and back into playing more League, featuring the hyperimpromptu "Protect the 'Kali" team comp that somehow worked.
  8. Holy FUCK, my back is itchy.

  9. Let's not immediately jump on Dobby's ass here. I mean, if there are more optimal things, there are more optimal things, but whatever happened to trial and error? It worked, so awesome. That being said, shoutouts to the Maokai who built Morellonomicon. Gotta get that yung max CDR.
  10. IMO it's ultimately a matter of taste, but it's hard getting everything you want to do out on the 3DS version, and you can get the Smash amiibos on the Wii U version without buying a New 3DS or that extra peripheral. So Wii U is my personal preference.
  11. Indeed. Since you can not DI the second Witch Twist at all, the best thing to do is accept the fact that you are getting hit by it and just do nothing. If your character has an air dodge that starts on frame 2, you can buffer that out of the second Witch Twist to escape the finisher. Jigglypuff can also punish a second Witch Twist with Rest, netting a super early stock if the Bayonetta player doesn't know that's a possible punish; while a little less practical, there are also other moves that allow characters to escape a death combo due to frame 1 or 2 action, such as input Shoryuken, Focus Attack, and Little Mac's N-Air.
  12. I would under normal circumstances recommend the cheaper option, however Nintendo Pro Controllers have much more longevity, and warranty coverage options for the 3rd party controllers can be super shady. I know someone who lost $30 because the defect that the controller had wasn't covered by warranty for some reason.
  13. Is it just me, or is spanish-style guitar making a comeback in pop music? That was a big thing in late 90's pop.

  14. It's true on at the very least Sheik, as my brother and I figured out. It ultimately depends on who he can footstool disable.
  15. Go home and be a family man! Oh yeah, click this too because it probably goes with what you're doing right now.
  16. Fun fact: EVO 2016 has just broken a thousand entrants for Pokken Tournament.

  17. Having trouble with Bayonetta? You can git gud -- alternatively, check out this vid for what to do.
  18. To all you Guilty Gear Xrd players out there...wanna give this game a go in time for Revelator. Who would you recommend for a beginner?

  19. Project X Zone 2 has officially hit ridiculous tier. Fighting a boss with Chrom, Lucina, Ryu, Ken, Jin, Kazuya, and the mascot of the Sega Saturn.

  21. Taric's new voice actor is Yuri Lowenthal. His resume is loaded, including Sasuke from Naruto, several Fire Emblem characters including Marth, Niles, Corrin and Ricken, Cecil from the Final Fantasy series...the list goes on.

  23. Speaking to Aurelion Sol and Tear, I could not think of a proper second item that wasn't too niche. In Sol's case, Rabadon's kinda sucks, and Abyssal Scepter is a rather game-specific choice. Void Staff is also hella niche and is mainly just for dealing with MR stacking. EDIT: This is outrageous. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/site/taric-comic/
  24. Here's something really cool I found someone do with Alex! "Charging the v-trigger gives a parry and then letting go of the buttons during the parry stops the charge that way you can keep parrying. Each parry refills the v-trigger for the amount lost while he was charging."
