    Election Day is basically Judgment Day at this point, one winner will start the next World War; the other might actually bring upon some positive change. But, you know, blind ignorance and general stupidity make it plausible that a monster who could very well start World War Three winds up as President.

      That is one of the powers of the President of the United States. One man, is a threat,

      That's like saying Hitler was not a true threat. And, his supporters and the people who will follow him in to power will create more issues.

      And, on the subject of him being the lesser of the two evils; that is one of the most ignorant things I have read all night.

      The president cannot declare war. It is congress that does the declaration. That being said, I have no idea why people would want Trump representing America to the world. The President is the face of America.

      The Commander-in-Chief has the power to send troops to battle without an official declaration of war from congress.

      So, essentially, he can declare war; just not officially. Vietnam is a clear example of this power.

    Blizzard mentions LGBTQ+ charaters in Overwatch, and the forums explode because apparently it's "SJW Pandering." Is a little representation really that big of a deal? No one bats an eyelash at a straight pairing, or characters who are heterosexual; but the second anything other is brought up it's like a powder keg is lit on fire. And, I believe a trans character would be the most ill-received. Which is fucked up.

      I'm jsut so tired of the SJW warrior thing people try to use to justify disliking or being upset abotu this stuff. Like... apparently treating other human being like humans is too hard for some to the point they get upset if these people are mentioned even period. Like maaaaan I how flimsy that whole excuse is. Blizzard made a desicion to include and be inclusive etc... but apparently treating those people like human beings and like they deserve some repersentation is wrong... I really do...

    Dear console players new to the mod community, generally, it's RUDE to pester and beg a creator to create a mod for your specific taste. Like, god damn, the ungratefulness I'm reading is so much more prominent than on the Nexus.

      Skyrim at the moment, there are so many people begging and getting outright nasty for not getting what they want from a particular mod author.

      I'd imagine one of the open world ones since they are some of the few games that console users have access to mods in.

    All of my friends have this thing where they adopt random wildlife, and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. The most recent adoption is a baby squirrel named Vermin.

    Apparently my experience with the buggy mess that was the original Skyrim PC release has made me useful in the Bethesda support forums. The Special Edition console release is a port from the PC release, and not the other way around. So, it retains a lot of issues on all platforms that were shared on the original PC release of the game.

    You'd think at this point AAA game devs would be able to handle launch traffic. It's far too common for this shit to happen.

      I can understand that to an extent, but at the same time; certain games are going to garner a massive playerbase at launch.

      I feel like a lot of it is a lack of preparedness. My issue is a dev who has experienced the exact same problem over multiple releases. After a while, I would think they would have measures to prevent server outages.

      It isn't like a AAA developer/Publisher lack the funds for preventive measures.

      I can understand if it's an indie d...

      I can understand if it's an indie developer, or someone new to the scene.

      I have no issue with that at all, but take a company like Blizzard; or a company like Respawn with backing from EA. It's hard to justify a non-functioning server from them, particularly for multiplayer based games.

    Primarina honestly has lackluster attack compared to the other two. One ignores stat changes, the other arena traps, but no; the water type can heal burns. Something you seldom experience in the game.

      I love Warframe, and I enjoy the story. But, I can't say I have an encyclopedic knowledge of the lore.

      The lore is honestly, a bit muddy at the moment.

    My game of the year is Rise of the Tomb Raider. The sole reason being, it is the only game I have played that kept me wanting more. No other game this year has had that effect.

    "Red Dead Redemption 2" But... It's the third game in the series. They could have done so much with the name, but chose to add a number. Why? Not that I'm getting it, but this decision makes no sense to me.

      I just do care, just because I don't play something or participate in it doesn't mean I lose all right to care.

      I don't play Call of Duty, but I can tell you I care about its impact on the gaming market as a whole.

      I just think they could have been more creative with the name.
