  1. This place could use some moar Metallica.
  2. Alright, now for another one of my favorite bands of all time.
  3. So, want my thoughts on the Boltshot nerf in Halo 4? Well here they are: It did absolute dick. The weapon is still a 1SK and the weapon can still be chosen off of the spawn. These two things should never be together in Halo, under any circumstances. What in the hell was 343i thinking?

Well, it's at least better than it was before, now I can at least SURVIVE against campers with the Boltshot, you just need to be sure to grenade the entrance since they almost HAVE to be sitting right next to the entrance to kill you, as for using the AR, all I can say is make sure that you are aware of the enemy movements, if you were backed into a corner then light him up with an AR, and dodge (yes, it is possible to dodge in Halo) the enemy Boltshot and pray that there isn't some s...

Oh, trust me I know. I'm not some Halo noob, but due to the scarcity of Grenades in Halo 4 without the Resupply Package I don't like wasting them for corner checks. I'm also not much for Pro-Vision because it's an honest waste of an armor ability. I usually run the following loadout: Battle Rifle, Assault Rifle, 2X Frag, Regen Field, Firepower, Ammo.

Also, Kiozo I can second that. I loved that weapon so much I developed a preference of it over the Shotgun and was just as if not more effective with it.

  4. This song has been stuck in my head all week.
  5. I'm the type of person who likes to keep a set team, myself. So it seems Feraligatr will have to be saved for a big fight, I can make due with the rest of my team if need be. I typically keep a team roughly the level of the Gym Leader I'll be facing at the time with one or two a few levels higher, in this case being Feraligatr and Magmar. However, thankfully due to Fire Types requiring more EXP Magmar will be good to go for a few more levels. Garbodor is a monster even a tad under leveled, and seeing as as I just discovered a Croagunk that's roughly ten levels beneath my team I can make due with it as well. The rest of my team I hope will be more than enough to get me through the next episode. I really need a damn Magmarizer, though.
  6. This is the world we live in, And these are the hands we're given, Use them and let's start trying, To make it a place worth living in, Oh, superman, where are you now? When everything's gone wrong somehow? The men of steel, these men of power, Are losing control by the hour, This is the time, this is the place, So we look for the future, But there's not much love to go around, Tell me why this is a land of confusion.

  7. Hm, I could have sworn that at least in Gen I there was a distinction. Namely because as a child I used a Gameshark and leveled my entire team to 100 in Cerulean, and only my starter obeyed. But, regardless that's irrelevant. And, that's what I had assumed the cap was in place for. It does certainly make things a little more difficult. A quick question, seeing as I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet: Will the cap be raised after you defeat each gym, or do you actually have to obtain the badge to raise the cap? It's a bit of a concern to me after the few gym battles in game where you do not receive a badge immediately after defeating them. (The most recent being the most concerning.) Seeing as there are two that I know of and I never had the opportunity to test it out. I'm trying to keep things vague as to not deliver any spoilers, by the way. So if I wasn't clear enough do tell me.
  8. Now for a dose of my all time favorite song.
  9. It's a common known fact that in every Pokémon game your starter will obey you without question, regardless of how many badges you have. It's a fail safe implemented by Game Freak to prevent a snag should the rest of your team somehow wind up overleveled. I've noticed that this is not the case in the Reborn game. As my Feraligatr wound up going a single level above the cap mid-gym battle. So, is this intentional or is this an oversight? I'm assuming it's intentional due to this game being intentionally more difficult than other Pokémon games, but it never hurts to ask.
  10. It seems to me that maybe, It pretty much always means no, So don't tell me you might just let it go, And often times we're lazy, It seems to stand in my way, 'Cause no one, No not no one, Likes to be let down.

  17. So, out of curiosity. Are there any roleplayers out there? I'm considering posting a few things in regards to my writing, such as characters and overall settings and the like for opinions and feedback. Because, frankly this seems like a creative community.

I have a total of 3 OCs still alive, though barely due to inactivity. I've even gone as far as rebooting them, all of them being at least three years old. One of them is approaching his seventh year of existence. It's really sad, they're all part of my little story-verse that I've built up over the years. I've even been developing new character for a Pokémon fan-fic I'm intent on writing up soon. and, in case you were wondering. Yes, I have intention of involving...

I guess I'm sort of interested, though I have like, 4 OCs still.. sorta alive. I used to RP all the time but never really anymore, though I sorta want to from time to time.

  18. MOAR Eve 6. This is probably my favorite song from Speak in Code.
  19. Yep... The Majestic Map Pack is hardcore. Best map pack since Halo 3, in my opinion. I'm so pleased with this map pack I think I may dance a jig.

Yepper. And, I am loving every second of it.

  20. Personally I like it, there are obvious balance issues with the game. But, overall I like what they've done. The Ordinance System is my least favorite thing, I think removing the static weapon spawns on the map and replacing them with "random" ordinance was a bad move. It takes a lot of the arena shooter feel from the game. Loadouts? Eh, I liked them in Reach so no complaints. The DMR is way over-powered in this game, which is also very annoying to myself. There are also a few useless weapons, but every Halo game has had them. Spartan Ops is amazing, and I like how they're removing the Silent Protagonist Shtick with Chief. QTEs are stupid, and aside from that my final complaint is: The maps. The diversity of environments is almost non-existent to me. Sure, you have different themes to every map. But, overall I'm unimpressed. They focused too much on larger-scale games, and well to be honest it doesn't feel like the maps matter. They have this... CoD feel. You never stop to look around at the environments anymore. Everything is a little too gritty for my tastes.
