The Pokemon questions are in another section of the forum, silly. And yay, Fox is here!

So, I'm honestly in a state of shock right now. I went to bed no later than 2 a.m., and here I am, literally just waking up at 4 p.m. the next day. Seriously, there wasn't even an instant where I started to wake up; I had been steadily dreaming the entire time. And the weird thing about the dream was that it was one whole dream, not even broken up, and when I did change location I actually went through the motions of changing location. Everything had a reason. I managed to type up what I remember, since it started to slip away when I finally did wake up, but I have the first half of it. The second half, where things had started to get a bit less realistic (though still connected, I remember that...) is fuzzy to the point of no return, so I won't even bother. Oh, and right now I'm too lazy to make it grammatically correct, because I typed it up quickly so as to not forget it in the process of typing. (Maybe I'll get irritated at it later and fix it then. =p )
it started in my high school gym, we were all on bleachers listening to our principal. groups of students were approaching him about problems in the school and he was shooting down every single one, in turn, claiming that they weren't actually an issue. i was getting really mad about it, to the point where i was told to go stand off to the side of the room, and after he was done and everyone else was leaving he made me come with him to where other teachers were hanging out. then i was made to write down everything the teachers told me to, and after a long while my dad showed up to let me know he was taking the car i had driven in (because i'm an alumni of the school in my dream, as i am IRL). i was like "but uh, how am i supposed to get home?" and he's just like "you'll think of something" and left. so i kept writing, i looked at the clock at one point and i think it said it was after 9 when they finally let me up. (right before i finished, one of the teachers randomly gave me chocolate covered pretzels as a 'thank you' or something). rather than letting me go home, though, the teachers made me come back into the gym with them, where they were playing baseball. i was finally about to just leave when a whole bunch of other alumni had shown up and were heading into the gym to practice for the same softball game. when that finally ended, i followed the alumni out and got on a bus that was still there for some reason. the bus dropped me off at this random house and it turned out to be one of the alumni's houses where all the others had come to party. i walked in and stood around awkwardly for a bit (the main event was a skydiving thing [thank you pics my friend put up on facebook...] and they were in the process of strapping in another kid to go) but then saw one of my friends walking into the backyard. I had started to follow, but stopped when i saw said friend appear underneath the deck in front of me so instead i started talking to her.
Yay, Kitty, congrats on your promotion to top cat~!

Forget the new Pokemon, I'm intrigued about the new three-on-three battles. o: ...Butyeah. From what little Serebii is showing me, the only one of that list I might one day like is Moguryu.

Was gonna say, I have no idea if I'll be home next Sunday. XD I was going to wait until I got my work schedule, but Stars raises a better (and more general) point.

I can kinda see part of mine, especially if you compare it to my beliefs about relationships. Stars, I like yours.

I beat Murray last night~. Would have cheered about it earlier, but my internet went out for a little while.
-
So mad at how that battle turned out. I was facing the Psychic club leader. I won 5/6 prizes, he didn't win a single one. We were both entirely out of cards. I just happened to have to draw before he did, so...I lost. Baaaah.
-
But Cy, that's how I deal with all of my Pokemon games. ... It just so happens that it actually works in TCG.
-
I've been steadily complaining about my TCG experiences in the Whatcha Doing? thread, so I don't need to repeat myself here until I next post. XD I don't really have any favorite decks/strategies. I just like finding cards that work for me and mashing them together into a deck...Though I haven't done that yet 'cause I'm too lazy. I'll probably have to do it some time soon, though, 'cause it's hard to beat these gym leaders. PS, I love that we've made a topic for an ancient game like this because we're suddenly all playing it. =D
-
It took a few tries, but I beat Mitch! Rock and Fighting taken care of on this end, too, as well as my first rival battle. It's going to be interesting, finding another gym to battle without me being unlazy and making a new deck.
-
It does linked battles, but only through a cable connection, I think... But yeah, I definitely plan on having multiple Bills/Professor Oaks. I prefer Bills over Oaks though, if only because I'd rather not have to get rid of my entire hand every time.
-
Why Cy, I have no idea what I said that would prompt you to play TCG again. And psh, I've never paid mind to making type-specific decks. That's no fun at all.
-
Yeah, I don't have all the cards needed to make a decent deck yet. Still working on it...Plus, I don't really know what to put in yet. I know that I want the following included: Seel + Dewgong Hitmonchan (Maybe) Staryu + Starmie Ghastly (the version that actually attacks) + Haunter + Gengar (Maybe) Rattata + Raticate Abra + Kadabra Energy Retriever Energy Removal Bill Potion Pokeball Haven't been paying too much attention to things yet, but I definitely know of a bunch of cards that I don't want in my deck at all.
-
So I have to say, I forgot how nit-picky TCG is with the order you challenge the clubs. >.> I've been running around between the clubs trying to find one I can challenge and actually beat... Psychic won't pay attention to me, Fighting requires I find all his members, Fire won't fight me till I have more cards... I can't beat Lightning or Water with my current deck =/ ...

Chiramii - It's so cute~. I want one. Or two. Though I have no idea if I'll ever use it to battle, because I have a feeling it'll be another Rattata, and I never used those in battle either. Munna - Um, what? What's it going to do, approach me and while I'm trying to decide whether to "aww, how cute" it or be creeped out, latch on to my face? Gear - Not a fan. Looks lame. Mamepato - Aah, the standard 3-stage flying type makes its appearance. I reserve judgment until I see its evolved forms, because I didn't like Starly either until I saw Staraptor. Hihidaruma - Are we trying to make me have to copy and paste names? 'cause if we have, we've succeeded. That doesn't look like a standard Pokemon to me. It looks more like a rampaging bull who would be guarding a mountain pass. Shimama - Aw, cute. Its eyes remind me of Shinx. I like it, and am hoping for a super-awesome evolution, like Ponyta and Rapidash. Meguroko - Why do I see this Pokemon being owned and used as comic relief by one of the Rockets of this generation? I also have the strangest feeling that this will be added to Stars' Pokemon team to replace that stupid Hippowdon.
-
Really? Aw. Well, at the moment I'm fighting the last of the less-important people in the Fire Club. XD And it's become somewhat personal thanks to his stupid Pidgeot.
-
Hehe, I remember this topic. I've kind of abandoned Soul Silver for right now. I've been playing Pokemon TCG for GBC. XD I got my first medal by beating the Rock Club and am attempting to beat the Fire Club using my Squirtle starter deck.

That's pretty awesome that I was in your dream, Cy. Even if I was acting like a jerk for some reason. XD My dream last night involved me going on some sort of trip (either with friends, or as a school trip) to this huge library. I bypassed the first two levels of the library, I guess because I had been there before and knew that what I wanted was on the third floor. As I climbed up the third flight of stairs, they became more elaborate and ornate, and I soon found myself peeking over the edge of the wall hugging the stairs. My eyes scanned over rows of books that were set up in fancy designs, and as I continued to look around I found myself looking out at a large cathedral. I was inside it - the library was connected to it, I suppose - but I didn't know if I was supposed to be there, so I kept my head ducked and continued looking around. I was situated above most of the people who were currently in the area, and across from me in a level even higher than mine was a group of nuns who were part of some sort of choir. I do believe they were the nuns from Sister Act (a movie). I continued to keep my head ducked as I listened to them practice, in love with their singing, but they soon stopped. Then, in the open area below me, other groups got up to sing. It was some sort of talent show or something, but it only consisted of groups of singers. As I watched the first group perform, one of the nuns walked past me and scowled a little, but just said "You can come in, you know. It's not against the rules, so get up." Sheepishly, I stood up and entered the cathedral itself, looking around at all the ornate decorations and listening to the groups singing while watching the crowds of people. At one point, I walked over to a table where they were trying to sell things related to the show - I was trying to find an album that the nuns had made, because I would have bought that, but I couldn't find any so I ended up walking away. Around then was when I woke up and lost my grasp of the dream.
About time you showed up. No, it's a DS game. Lara and I tried the online programs a while back, to no avail.
Yeah, sadly, that plan failed beyond belief. But it had been worth a shot...
