1. to be honest, I don't see the battling even being relevant... If you can successfully initiate a battle with your target, your chances of killing are staggeringly high..
I only go perhaps 1 in 20 battles without losing at least 2 Pokemon.
2. Q: How are you supposed to force people to battle you? Asuming they play smart and make sure they don't get isolated in a back channel, and never battle except with ana lt against their target.... You just can't really get them to battle you.

Everything has become so... unreal. The chat has deteriorated into obsessive rp'ing and shallow whisperings that I've no desire to be part of. For me, gone are the days of meaningful and humorous banter I used to enjoy. This place just doesn't suit my style anymore.

ya think?

it's pretty ridiculous, and the main reason I just lurklurklurk.
4. I love Dusknoir... but... he... just... doesn't really kill you anymore. Like, he'll burn a couple of guys and... revenge kill with Shadow Sneak? ._.
BL seems good for him.
Suicune, it doesn't really do anything against some of the things it comes in on. Ok, so it can Ice Beam Dragon-types, and... hope to burn with Scald on everything else? It can't really Calm Mind up fast enough to be a real threat.
Starmie, yeah, UU is pretty ballsy, BL sounds good.
5. Sooo, why am I doing this?

Yeah, it's been quite a while, and well, things could use some moving around.

Let's see, some quick opinions...

Suicune - This thing is OU, because...? Ferrothorn easily makes Suicune its bitch, Chansey walls it to hell and back, many Pokemon use it for setup fodder, etc.
Swampert - It sets up rocks, and....? It doesn't have nearly enough bulk to dominate a tier, and BL might actually let is see some play.
Ditto - Why restrict it to OU? It copies a Pokemon, but does that make it too good? It's only as good as the Pokemon that are avaliable to copy.
Meloetta - In normal forme, it has mediocre speed and not enough power. To get to step forme, it has to waste a turn using a weak normal move. Klol?
Zoroark - It doesn't have a spectacular movepool or dominating stats. Once you realize that Illusion is nothing more than a cute trick, there's not much good left.
Venusaur - This thing is in UU? Venusaur in the sun can be a huge threat in OU, to say the least. While that doesn't warrant insta-OU, I'd say it should be BL at least, considering Vulpix exists.
Virizion - This thing hurts a lot. Especially with Calm Mind. I think it'd be better in BL.
Lapras - There's no real point in making it UU instead of LU since well, Drizzle doesn't exist below OU, and Lapras is pretty mediocre without permarain.
Amoonguss - Spore + Great bulk seems easily LU at least. Isn't the new NU supposed to be the reject tier?
6. Now, I understand there are many people out there who are following these anyways. But this is for those who have not(not naming any names), as well, they need a reminder one way or another.

1. Don't post the same set.

This seems obvious, right? I would think so. Yet, so many threads, I see with one person posting a carbon copy of the previous set with one changed move. Really? Now if there's another option for that particular set, you can simply contact that person, and tell them to add a slash with the other option(s). Seriously, don't do it. If I see it, I'm deleting it and adding a slash to the original set.

2. Have a description.

Seriously, put a description people. If you have a set that you want to post, but don't have time to write a description for, save it. Wait until you have a description for it before posting it. Also, one sentence is not a description. If I see a set with no description, delete.

3. If you make a topic for an unconventional Pokemon, add a set.

For example, Cottonee. Why is there a topic for this again...? Yeah, if it's not a fully evolved Pokemon or something mainstream like Chansey, then you should post a set right away, or I'm going to question why the topic exists. If you do have a set for a Pokemon that doesn't have a topic, feel free to make one.

If anyone has more, I'll be glad to add them.
7. The metagame changes. People discover new sets. Specific Pokemon see an increase in usage. There's no such thing as tiers being "set". They are and always will be imperfect; our goal in modifying tiers is to make them as close to perfect as possible. It doesn't matter whether someone is a "regular" or not, anyone can give their input if they feel like it, and if you don't like their input, don't reply.
8. LolChandelure
Anyways, as the topic in question is Shadow Tag Chandera, the possiblity of other abilities will be dismissed in this post.

Well, first of all, one thing. Chandelure is incredibly simple. Come in, KO, switch out. ANY assumptions that the fact that you can bring in a Pokemon to resist its chosen move after it gets a kill, and thus it is not Uber worthy, is incredibly silly. The point is, Chandlure can repeatedly switch in, kill certain Pokemon, and you can't do anything about it. The number of Pokemon that can truly kill it reliably are incredibly slim. Pursuit users, Dugtrio, and uhhh. That's it, really. The fact of the matter is, a Chandelure user has 5 other Pokemon. You can't expect them to just sacrifice Chandelure with the logic that "oh it killed something, it has done its job thus I can let it die". The sole reason it should even be considered for Ubers, is that it doesn't just kill one Pokemon, it kills, switches out, and kills more later. That's the entire point, what can you do to prevent this? Well, hazards play quite the role. Being a Fire type, Chandelure will take a whopping 25% upon entry if Stealth Rock is up. Spikes, Toxic, Sandstorm, etc. can further weather it down. But, you can't expect to have hazards up consistently. The fact of the matter is, what can you do about it? Pursuit Tyranitar is undoubtedly a superb option for killing it, but I wholly understand some people just don't want to use certain Pokemon for the sake of one Pokemon. So, what warrants banning? Overcentralization. If the majority of teams need to build accordingly for the sake of one particular Pokemon, then that's a clear signal for banning. Course, there's the problem with banning, we're humans. No matter the result, there will be those who agree and those who disagree. It's simply impossible to satisfy both groups. So we can only decide to the best of our judgment, because there is no "correct" answer. Anyways, back to my argument. Well, what defines overcentralization? It's fairly obvious that my example of the majority of teams adding counters is quite the exxageration; if such was true, we wouldn't be having such a discussion. Looking at the Reborn usage staistics, Chandelure is #9 in usage. But does that tell us anything? No. Reborn statistics hardly define the literal metagame of Reborn, the fact is Unrated battles simply would be more accurate. That's the reason Smogon statistics work, the ladder is the metagame. But here, it's anything but. So what am i trying to say? Well, I'm solidifying my argument that you can't be sure, ever. As mentioned prior, there is no correct decision. You can't see if there's truly overcentralization to push for a ban, Reborn tiers are pretty much theorymon I'll admit. With that said, I'll be neutral for the time being.
