you can get a machop in the volcano, you can get a shelmet at azurine Island, if you take the shelmet to spinel town and talk to som1, he will trade you a karrablast karrablast will evolve into escavalier when you recieve it

yes you can obtain 3 starters that arnt your standard: tepig mudkip and bulbasaur SPOILERS: you need chimecho for bulbasaur, and it isnt in the wastelands, thats mudkip bulbasaur is on azurine island

N? damn, here i was thinking Luna(?) that person that claimed to be serra's child would be the next gym leader -
