Decided to restart with a different starter, my very first wild pokemon (a Trubbish) was shiny. Caught it when i threw a pokeball while it was at full HP. Did i just get crazy lucky, or was this some how intended?

That does sound like a good idea, but i wanna get him early on. Maybe some kind of side quest or event like you did with Spinda or something like you did with Whismur? Could even take a line from the really old pokemon anime and do something along the lines of when Ash got Charmander. Maybe have a jerk trainer gloat about how he abandoned a baby Rufflet (around level 3 or 4) and then you get to go find it.

its not that that has me angry. If they do it like that, then im all fine with it. Whats got me upset/angry is it was my third try. I think i can do it again, ill just make sure to bring something else along so i can get my badge

Was fighting Flo for the second gym badge and it was down to her Cradiliy and my Grimer. I had used minimize three times so she just kept missing her attacks, and i had her poisoned. Saw that Cradiliy used struggle and was about to jump up and down for joy because I finally got her badge after 3 tries.....Sturggle one shotted my full HP grimer and knocked out her cradiliy....i still lost.

Hes one of my favorite pokemon, i love that guy with a passion. I went to look through the obtainable pokemon and i couldnt find him, eyes arent that good and glasses are broken lol. Is he available in some way in-game?
