    You need the third gym badge in order to use rock smash outside of battle, you aren't required to use it in order to save Victoria in the Grand Staircase Cavern.

    I remember from fairy tales it was knights and wizards that defeated menacing dragons. Not fairies that could be Tinkerbell for the sake of a decent ecample, that defeated them.

    Out of all the leaders after Julia: Shade, Shelly, and Aya gave me the least trouble. With Aya I had to use the double intimidate strategy with Gyarados and Luxray to take out Drapion before I sent out my Gardevoir (only reason why I managed to beat her Muk and Gengar).

    A new type is cool, but I don't get how a fairy type is going to be super effective against a dragon pokemon, against a dark type I can how it can be effective, but a dragon type? Noivern looks does look like it has some potential depending on when/where it's available ingame. Pancham and Helioptile are potential hopefuls for my future y playthrough team.

    Or Gardevoir/Gallade and a poision type pokemon could be another way to beat her. It's be best to bring a pokemon that has resistance against poison pokemon.

    You sure? Cause it won't open unless every rail hinge is set up in a way so that the lock opens, it could be that you're missing one.

    I had trouble with this myself total of 2 hours, but if you pay close attention to the puzzle the tracks have be clean. What I mean by this is that there are no obstacles: broken rails, rocks, and destroyed floors anywhere between the train and the exit where Cain and friends are.

    Yes, there is a move relearner in Onyx Ward. There is a sign in front of her house, but you need heart scales for her services. Luvdisc you can find in the lake at the Hudden cove with the good rod.

    No, you don't need rock smash to save her. You will need rock smash to get the mining kit which is in the Grand Staircase Cavern and you won't be able to use rock smash outside of battle until you beat Shelly.

    From what I can remember from being at the point, is that you have to go rescue Victoria in the Grand Staircase Cavern. And just so you know that tag battle is a pain, at least it was for me.
