yea my original plan to beat Garchomp was switch back and forth from Staraptor as well as Gyarados to lower garchomps attack with intimidate. i was able to get -5 attack in there. after killing off most of my team doing so i only had those two left. Garchomp was constantly trying to stone edge my Staraptor but missed a lot. eventually he killed my Staraptor. from here i sent out my Gyarados and got popped by two more stone edges, but was able to live them since gyarados happened to be impish. i had to use my only two hyper potions doe. I noticed after i ran out of hyper potions though that he was only using fire fang and dragon rush, and dragon rush was doing an average of 70 damage. I actually used gyarados last with the intention of killing Garchomp with ice fang but he was still too high level and powerful. so i just stalled out the battle with super potions (which i used 16 of out of 21) trying to kill him with ice fang. i eventually ran out of ice fang but by the time i did he was struggle bait now having gone through eq which doesn't work obvi on Gyarados. In the end i wasted a load of money on this guy for 563 exp and some money but at least if i'm lucky ill get the secret ending ending out of this charade if i didn't miss any other criteria.

Well let them figure that out. I'm sure people that don't read this and keep reposting will just help to keep the topic fresh in Ame's mind

And on top of that the cops that run into the gym get their minds poisoned and you get to verse them.

Btw spoilers if you havent beaten poison gym yet I never knew this but if you find all of the cops in the city before you take down the pulse machine in Beryl ward, there is an extra scene where Corey is unmasked in front of his daughter. I only did this because i made a 2nd file and knew where all the cops where. I don't know who else found this out but this was news to me. I thought it was a little extra cool thing Ame threw in.

Anyone know where i can catch Aron? I can see where he is on the pokedex but i have not seen him yet in the underground railnet which is what the map is making it look like. Are there only certain sections of the place where you can see him, and is weather or the time of day a factor?

I picked Torchic but i feel like speed boost is a bit unfair (especially early in this particular game). So i turned the game on and off about 6 times before i got blaze. I also got ralts again (got him last time but wanted him to be gallade. that never happened). This time i plan on making her gardevoir and actually using her. I also got whismer who has high special attack and low speed, but uproar with stab and 90 base power this early in the game has 1 hit koed anything that was its level or lower (i killed it off last time but am having fun with him this time). Also got magikarp and plan on actually using him. will probly get budew again and grab electrike this time around since he is one of my favorite pokemon in the game. Overall i am enjoying the 2nd playthrough a lot more then i imagined i would. More then the first one. BTW the file is now called Django Unchained. why not

Trust me i still had a hard time with florinia. But i did not get stuck there. I made it to the end of chapter 8. Just was not sure if i was up for a second run through. Though now the idea sounds game to me.

I had magby but he can't evolve ftm. Vulpix has drought but i don't want that to be a hinderance to the rest of my team. and without it hes not that good. And growlithe i'm not too sure why i don't. But regardless i feel like a fire/fighting type would "kick but and chew bubblegum"

I've thought of making a second game as well but i'm so torn. Because of how long it would take to play it over again holds me back on it but i would like to get a nice and powerful Fire type starter (which i kind of regret not doing from the start. Got mudkip and he's not exactly putting in work.) Not only that but you can get Mudkip kind of early and other good water and grass type pokemon, but good fire types are hard to come by.

All right, Magmar was doing me justice b4 and i do have a link stone ready for him already, but like you said itl take me a bit to find a magmarizer. I could try training up Arcanine if you think fire is what i'm gonna need. From there i guess i'd snatch Gengar and Espeon I'm guessing Laura is a grass elite four Lady Since i'm not familiar with who that is, but i also would like a Weavile in the future so i could probly swap my fire type for him. That would probably lock my team in to be pretty good. If anyone has other suggestions, then fire away, but yours seems like it mapped out a lot in my head. thx

Yea i actually have everyone else you mentioned except for Excadrill. I just don't feel like training that many up to a higher level so i just mentioned the ones that were basically lvl 30 or above. I'll possibly consider 1, but that's not the main predicament i have here. What i really need is the team as a whole. If someone could just list 6 pokemon from the list i gave (or others that i have yet to catch) Then that'd really be solid. I just don't want to spend like a week trying to reconstruct my team so if you could limit it to like 1 addition to pokemon i don't have then that'd be awesome.

All right, so my team was doing good up until the end of episode 8 when i found out you could get Zangoose and Manectric. Those happen to be some of my favorite pokemon so i find it to be a necessity to put them on my team. I also want my Swampert to stay on the team so right there is already 3 subpar pokemon, and in a game like this i really need a solid team. so here are these guys with there natures Swampert (Drip): Quirky Manectric (Zap Tap): Modest Zangoose: (Goons): Adamant Now i got a few guys in the box but i don't really plan on bringing many new guys to the team other then the ones in my box. So here they are (also no ones nature is really that good or bad except for Espeon so i will only mention his) Espeon(Bounce)(modest), Krookodile(KingK.Rool), Gengar(Giorgo), Lucario(Ryu), Kirlia(its a boy btw), Boldore(BulksMcgee), Drapion(Toxicrunch), Flygon(Krewella), Scrafty(Hoodlum), Luxray(Simba), Roserade(Hamburglar)(Was great on my team b4 with toxic spikes), Magmar(Burnout), and finally Cofagrigus(Mumms). Now i'm really having a tough time deciding who should be my other three guys so ill let you guys decide. If you want you can recommend one more guy, but i really don't feel like leveling another guy up to 50. All i really care about is having a well balanced type team with decent pokemon so hopefully you guys can help me out. (BTW i have not even touched episode 9 yet so if there are some strong guys i don't know about yet in that chapter let me know)

All right, so basically Zangoose is one of my top 5 favorite pokemon and now that i just accidentally found him in an alleyway (and i know its not zorua) I really want him. Besides getting him and possibly even training him to the level of my own team would kill time waiting for Episode 9. So if anyone can give me hints or even completely explain how to find him i would really really appreciate it.

yea there was definitely one on azurine island. (got lucky and found it while clicking on every rock and bush and used it for my Roserade) i believe it was a green bush but i could be wrong. Just click on everything there and you should find it with 30 minutes of guessing.

If you can make the claim that the PULSE machine can upgrade abilities as well then i would strap Espeon to the machine. Imagine if that ability got amplified to the point where you could reflect attacks as well as status and hazards. Or even better just mess with the townsfolk and just put magic bounce in front of doors and such so that people would be boxed in or out of their homes. I'd get a kick out of messing with an entire town like that. why not

I was also curious about this as well so when i was going for a sandile that had attack up and something down other then speed i had to hatch 26 eggs. All of those eggs had natures that were not dream world. And as a heads up i went through quite a few eevees when i wanted it to be modest. took me 35 minutes of resetting and none of them had its dream world ability. Hopefully i wasn't just "unlucky"

I was beginning to question the 17 gyms as well. because i have guys that are around lvl 48 and 50 and we are only up to like the 5th (maybe 6th can't remember what episode 8 left off on anymore.) so that still leaves a hell of a lot of gyms for the pace this lvling has been going.

That's exactly what you have to do. Find her gravestone in the wasteland, then go up near the upper left hand corner of the map and find a cave. there should be a strength rock there that wasn't there b4.

Are hidden abilities supposed to be there for gift pokemon? like for example i wanted an eevee with its hidden ability (for espeon) so i saved right b4 grabbing it and tried multiple times with no luck. I'm just not sure if you intended for that is what i'm asking.
