Rotom can also Pain Split and then get a chunk of it's health back. Gyarados doesn't have to Mega evolve right away. In which case it resist Hammer Arm. Hammer Arm, as you said, isn't common either. Grass Knot would get Quagsire. I don't think Mega Metagross is nearly as big of an issue as Greninja. One big difference is It -can- get priority, but while reaching that first important speed tier of 350 (110 Base), it's not terribly common, another being there isn't the same Life Orb recoil. I personally have never had any issues managing Mega Metagross. There are plenty of checks and there are a few good counters IMO. Ice Punch is pretty much Mandatory for the rampant Ground Flying types and just general coverage. Earthquake is usually necessary for Heatran or Excadrill. Zen Headbutt and Meteor Mash are just given. There are other moves it can use, but you should be able to get a general feeling for it's moveset based on what else is on the team. It's far from Greninja level unpredictable. Oh and Metagross would be -1 against the Gyarados in that calc. Meaning it can't OHKO even if it doesn't Mega and DDance. You also assumed no bulk investment, while it may be common, it's not like it's the only spread used.

Throw in Will-O-Wisp, and Mega Metagross can't hope to touch Rotom-W a very common pokemon as is. I'm sure there are more pokemon that can wall it. Quagsire isn't common but it works. Mega Gyarados isn't too prominent but it's still OU and also completely manages Mega Metagross

For one, I'm fairly certain Insurgence is using HG/SS as a base for the game and Reborn uses Ruby. Two, it's probably not quite that easy, I'm sure if it were, it would more than likely be an option by now. I kind of like that idea. I suppose it more comes down to two things. Can they find people who are able to do the repairs? Is it even worth repairing in most peoples eyes, with the ever possible returning threat of Team Meteor or the elements. If you don't like how easy Blaziken makes the game. Don't use it. You have to give up a handful of other pokemon options to get it. The way the level cap is now works just fine IMO. This is to make it interesting to go searching, Would you take the time to look for items if all you got were potions or Escape ropes all the time?

Including side quests and everything else. Each episode has 1 gym, and about 4-6 hours of play depending on how in depth you go, you'll always be able to explore more though and go back other things.

Well first you'd have to give Fly within the story wouldn't you? Also meaning you'd have to have the badge to be able to use it, which also wouldn't make sense to change retroactively later on would it? It just makes the most sense to do it this way plot wise. I understand navigation back to Reborn City is tedious, but that's one of the reasons the northern Crustle puzzle exists on Route 2, the bridge repairs can be made south of Calcenon, and why Amethyst is planning to be making Route 1 easier to navigate after clearing all the obstacles if I recall correctly.

Yes. Just like in the main series games made by Gamefreak, walking around with your pokemon increases their happiness. It's just very VERY slow. To increase happiness quicker you can buy friendship berries or vitamins in the department store if you have enough stickers to get up to a high enough floor. You can go to one of the salons as well. Gaining levels is another quick way to increase happiness of your pokemon. It wouldn't work story wise in Reborn. If we had Fly, what would realistically stop us from returning to the rest of Reborn city? Remember at this point in the game we aren't going to be able to return to the city once the full game is released.

Tacos, I don't think it's a big issue here. The thread's general purpose is discussing what would be nice to add based on opinion. It's not like the topic at hand necessarily is outdated itself. Even while some of the posts are older, the concepts aren't really different. Just my opinion in this case.
