There are two kinds of people, those who want to control others, and those who just want to be left alone. Republican and Democrat are the same thing except for a couple of relatively inconsequential things. When it comes down to it, each scrutinizes the other in certain roles that just switch based on who is or isn't power at the time. The closest thing to a government for the people is the Libertarian party.
