Hmm just a small recommendation here. Can you change the displayed text for the Site FAQ to say 'Site FAQ' or something like that and the Game FAQ to say 'Pokemon Reborn FAQ' It might clarify it a bit better and also let new members see that they're not the same thing so it might be useful to click on each of the, at some point.

X/Y were horrible in my opinion, ORAS was solid, here's hoping XZ/YZ are redeeming for Kalos. Reasons why XY were awful: The difficulty: Even with the EXP Share off, I was always at least 5 levels higher than every gym leader without doing any grinding what so ever. Team Flare was a gosh darn joke. The look like idiotic disco robots. They weren't intimidating at all, and their goal was stupid. Lysandre was Emo and looked like a mook. Cyrus was an badass insane psychopath. You could practically see Lysandre breaking down in tears all the time. Oh and that hair, are you for real? Diantha played little role in the actual story and truthfully was an incredibly boring character. She looks like a Balerina and was the least intimidating (and easiest) champion to date. The rest of the characters. They were completely boring and irrelevant as well. The entire Elite 4? I can't remember anything about a single one of them, not even what they look like. The 'rivals' were boring and it was just a chore to battle their pathetic excuses for teams. Serena eventually becomes halfways respectable AFTER the games over with Mega Absol. The Gym Leaders... ummmm wow, I remember the first one... the camera lady right? There were only like what? 60 new pokemon, come on now, you're better than that gamefreak. While I like revisiting the the old starters with the Gen 1 starters. You get two starters more or less which in game, is kind of broken. You're also given a free Mega Lucario less than half way through the game.... The parts of the post game that actually existed were done well, but it was still incredibly lacking and outside of breeding and the Battle Chateau there was next to nothing to do once you beat the easier than normal story mode. There were good features such as super training, and the friend safari, breeding mechanic changes, but this was more directed towards getting legit competitive pokemon plausible. The story was completely lacking.

That is a fair compromise. Like Corsola could be level 30 or so on Apophyll (since it's basically useless), where as a Zubat if it were in the same area would be like level 5. I can respect that.

OK Imma weigh in on this one last time. I think trainer's SHOULD have to grind their pokemon (Option A), but there needs to be more grind friendly situations. I do particularly like this idea. Hilda: - lower the levels of wild pre evos that are being introduced in the game, and throw in evolved pokemon from lines encountered earlier to maintain the ability to grind in the area. As an example see Beedrill in Jasper Ward. That worked out rather nicely in my opinion. Magcargo in Pyrous mountain were also good. Perhaps more areas like the Grand Hall in the manner that there are daily rebattlable trainers. That change each day. I do have one idea, in many main series games there'd be the one trainer in like half the pokemon centers that will battle you once a day. Throw those in perhaps. Daily thing. Also, see ORAS TV Reporter Gabby and what's his face, who you can go around battling to your hearts content. These are just some things that could make grinding not quite so painfully tedious.

I haven't got around to playing the game yet, but I intend to in the near future. Been talking to Jan from time to time about the construct of the game and what he's still looking to do regarding certain things. (Not plot related)

Yeah but if heart scales are more easily obtainable as Amethyst said they'd be, then the moves can just be retaught. The move tutor isn't available until a point where crazy amounts of grinding would be required anyways.

Well when you put it this way. B seems to make the most sense, as it doesn't inhibit dex fillers ability to do so.
