Oh, I forgot to mention one more rule... 11. I cannot run from a fight with a wild Pokemon (this includes using moves that would end the battle like teleport or roar)

I have decided to do a nuzlocke, and I am going to report what happened to me after each gym leader. Here are the rules I am setting for myself: 1. If a Pokemon faints, it must be permanently boxed 2. I can only catch the first Pokemon in a area (this includes Headbutting trees, and fishing) 3. If a shiny Pokemon appears, I can override rule 2 to capture it, but it cannot be used if done so (If it is the first Pokemon in the area, this rule does not apply) 4. I can only switch out Pokemon from my party to my box if they share at least one type 5. Items can be used 6. Pokemon from eggs cannot be used (but must be hatched) 7. Legendary Pokemon cannot be captured 8. I cannot use a Pokemon as an HM slave 9. If all of my party faints, I can switch them out for new Pokemon (with rule 4 applying) provided that I can provide a full team of 6 and last, but not least 10. ALL POKEMON MUST BE GIVEN NICKNAMES To decide my starter, I will be using the trainer card system. If my number ends with 1-3 = grass, 4-6 = water, 7-9 = fire, and 0 means my choice.
