  1. Indeed, steel types are very useful in this fight Proof:
  2. Indeed, keep talking to them... then you'll know what to do e_e
  3. I've found every single fossil except for the one I'm loknig for... Dammit! lol

      Raindrop Valkyrie

      Funny how that works huh?

  4. If the weather is windy, just 'bump' it, like when you crash with a wall... But I'm not sure if you have to beat Serra to do the event tho...
  5. Do I have to beat Aya first to do theMudkip event? I can't find the guy that tells you about it, and it's raining...

Oh! that's right, I remember now, Thank you! :D

  7. Funny thing that is happening to me right now... I'm doing a water monotype because I thought that it would be harder than my first file (where I had different types in a team), but now I'm doing better at everything lol, beat Shade and Florinia on the first try... Payback time motherf*ckers!! Also... Aya, I'm coming for you Bl
  8. Should I remplace Sharpedo with a Crawdant in Reborn? They have the same typing but I don't know...

Good, because im breeding for a good Carvanha ^^ Good luck

    3. Raindrop Valkyrie

63/85/55 are Crawdaunt'd Defensive spread, so that isn't really bulky....I mean bulky then Sharpedo's 70/40/40. But Sharpedo is faster and thier attack stats are exactly the same (120 each, that is nothing to sneeze at) Sharpedo doesn't need Dragon Dance under his belt to start his sweep so definitly a more reliable choice imo.

Ok then, I'll stick with Sharpedo, I didn't know because it gets OHKOed a lot so yeah... I guess that I just have to grind a bit more

  9. Sounds like fun lol, I'll try it... hope I don't get less than 100 e.e
  10. Indeed, welcome... Have a great time! Just remember that your sanity doesn't belong here.
  11. So... Fern's Servine, that has it's hidden ability, keeps using growth... kthxbai gg Fern.

  12. I've been playing with a new file for a while doing a water monotype and reached the Obsidia plant crisis (god those double boosts from Charge Beam where a pain...). I have also noted that Sheer Force still does the extra effect, and I'm not sure if the extra damage is there... On a side note... Florinia is going to kick my ass when I get to her gym lol Edit: Turns out that I swept her with a bunch of water types ._.
  13. After hours of grinding... This better get my 1st badge nace and easy lol http://oi39.tinypic.com/21j6exz.jpg

      2tousent

:< tinypic doesnt work for me

  14. God... soft resetting the Magikarp event to get a good one is really tedious...

  15. That's a great idea, I'm looking forward to that.
  16. So I kinda chickened out from the grass monotype because I feel like every leader would have an advantage... any other suggestions?

I'll go with water, sounds reasonable enough. As for Nuzlockes... I tend to cheat a lot and I don't feel ready specieally for a Reborn Nuzlocke lol

  17. I don't think this should be posted here... but I do agree, at least at some extent becase without potions ther are pretty easy to beat, but with 3-4 potions... the start to get annoying... So I'd suggest to change it to 1 potion/super potion/etc. per battle.
  18. Since I'm about to start a monotype in Reborn... what type should I pick? the current options are Fire, Water, Grass, Dark and Steel.

pick bulbasaur :P it's great and it can leech seed aya to oblivion... you'll just have some trouble with fern.....

      oh god fern....

  19. I'm gonna do a new playthrough then, and update this correctly.
  20. Actually no, those are commonly named "competitive shinies".
  21. A trophy shiny is a shiny that (as I understood), is not that good for competitive play, namely bad IVs and/or incorrect nature.
  22. Water sounds interesting, but since there are lots of good water types... I feel that it might be a little easy... but interested regardless, As for bug types... I don't think it would be a lot of variety... and I would get destroyed a lot since most good bug mons apear late game IIRC and I'm not really a big fan of normal types... so I'm not that into it... Now grass types, grass seems interesting enough to try actually, almost as interesting as water... Now thats 2 possible types Poison types might be better now with fairies lying around, but honestly, the only poison types that I like are Gengar, the Nidos and Crobat and maybe Venusaur but I consider it more grass than poison... But still it might be pretty unique to do one. The ground type seems cool too, but like with poison types, I have very few favorite ground pokemon so I don't know... I was thinking in a dark type monotype too, but if I remember correctly, there are few dark types in the game...
  23. No, 2 men were already in the van and just 2 avenues before I reached my house, they threatened me and anoter guy to give them all of our things, I gave them the cheap cellphone first and I guess that they were not satisfied, so they also took our backpacks... then they saidus to get out of the van and they ran away with al of our things...

Sounds like you're talking about Steelix. IIRC, Onix can learn Stealth Rock pretty early, ad the fact that Steelix has one of the highest defense stats (if not the higher), it can tank pretty much any physical attack. And then we have the ofensive... it kinda lacks better attack and EQ now but it still learns Gyro ball (a pretty decent attacking move for it). Hope it helps.
