There's been death in the series tho. Tuckson from the bookstore at the beginning of Volume 2 and multiple Faunus in the tunnels at the end of the same volume. While minor deaths, it opens the possibility of characters REALLY dying. Of course, I still don't think someone from the main teams will die, at least not yet.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Emerald and Mercury's plan does not involve killing Coco and/or Yatsuhashi, since that would compromise their cover at Beacon and therefore, Cinder's scheme. Personally, I think CFVY just got a terrible match up with Emerald and Mercury (maybe that's why Cinder choose them). Coco being a slowed down by her massive gatling gun and Yatsu being so big in general against 2 pretty fast fighters. I'll take the bait. So? People don't like when the characters they love die or get injured, it's only natural. Also, we know you don't like that kind of stuff, but you don't have to bring it or try to instigate an argument everytime you see stuff like this, it's hardly the place.

Didn't the WoR Dust episode aired before we knew Cinder had "sewed" dust in her clothing? I can't quite remember... I feel like WoR exists for two reasons: 1) Explain basic lore and/or Remnant's mechanics 2) Foreshadow future events to happen in the series. I personally like them, but I wish they would be longer, at least 5 minutes... I remember that in volume 2 we had to wait over 2 weeks for a 1 minute and 30 seconds of WoR. That was truly awful.

That actually happened in G/S/C and HG/SS. Clair was the last Johto leader and Lance was the Champion, while both being dragon-type trainers (although Lance didn't have a proper "only dragons" team). Personally, I don't think Lin's the champion. Maybe ex-champion, but not the current one. Still have no idea who is the real champion tho.

So today's WoR was as short as I expected (sadly), but it opened a lot of conspiracy theories regarding Atlas, Weiss & Winter, and even Summer and Taiyang. Worth the wait? Maybe. Onwards to Episode 4! Hopefully RT will release the "Next up in RWBY" short a bit early to build up more hype.

Literally, the only way to possibly justify that theory is if the terrorist somehow learned how to construct suicide vest by watching Creepers explode... which is bullshit in and of itself.
This is just one of the many issues with modern day media... sometimes, it circulates some really stupid shit just for the sake of getting controversy...

God dammit Pokémon Insurgence. Why you gotta be so buggy? I can't even grind properly for the 2nd gym! As much as I'd like to get into this game (and oh jeez it has convenient features), suddenly resetting itself does not help at all. /rant

Looks like half of team CFVY is getting Worfed next week. I kinda saw that coming, but not with that team. Some people were speculating that team CFVY wasn't even in the tournament so I had my doubts. And they also keep teasing Velvet weapon dammit. Qrow vs Winter was what I was hoping for. Qrow's character as well, so 2 for 1. Stoked for next week's chapter!

What? It's subtler, yes, but RWBY is full of fanservice, it just doesn't blatantly use it to attract audience like some animes. Just Look at Emerald or Cinder, or any hint at shipping (that's also considered fanservice btw).

I believe someone of the staff said that the Red Trailer was more of a Crescent Rose trailer more than Ruby herself and that it was how Monty got support from Burnie to make RWBY. But don't quote me on that.
