I found Julia, Florinia,and Corey to be especially hard because of running with Grovyle and the other three pokemon on my team being Normal type. But the game definitely gets a little easier when you start adding powerhouses to your team, i.e. Arcanine, Donphan, Mammoswine.

The toxicroak on your first set could be replace by a Donphan maybe? A suggestion for yo 2nd set tho, I'd replace the Gigalith and Vanilluxe with Mammoswine and maybe have a Venusaur to balance the team out.

What about if the shards somehow corresponded to changing your EV spread to something more ideal. Idk how it would work but it be pretty dope to control the EV on the pokemon.

Treecko for that Sceptile tho, very underated, slightly hard to use in the beggining but with the decent movepool it learns later on, I think its pretty good imo.
