I suggest finding yourself a dark type if your struggling with Shade, like Scraggy, or following through with the Team Aqua/Magma gang's story line to get a dark type at a higher level,(not going to spoil what you can get), but there are plenty to get at this point, if you chose to get one. P.S. Not sure if Murkrow and Zorua are available at this point in the game so...

Absol was a main on my Gen 3 team, (even before the physical/special split) when I use to play as a child, but I always had trouble finding one, so I would get all exited whenever I found one(I was around 5 at the time), and now I'm older, I can get to understand its concept, how it's misunderstand, and how it only wants to warn those of incoming disasters, but is always blamed, + I always loved it's design, even though it's a bit simple.. and I also love the new design. Competitively, Absol had the potential to be an absolute monster, with a base attack stats of 130, sadly though, due to its lacking base speed (75 I think?) to back the attack up, it's not used often, but hopeful the new evolution will fix the speed. Sorry I kinda went on and on... it happens sometimes

You can trade a Luvdisc for a Riolu on the island with the Fighting type gym, sorry can't remember the name of the island.

You find one on one of the rocks near where you find Heatmor.

I think you smash the rocks at the Fighting Gym Beach, but I cant remember the name of the island.

On one playthrough I found Solrock and on another I found Lunatone, both at the same spot. I think it has to do with, if its day or night though

Ame, I'm sure that I speak for everyone when I say thank you for all of the time and hard work you have put in to the game. It is such a fun game with an excellent story and amazing music, so this is just to say thanks.
