My biggest tip at the moment: Don't challenge Slant ;D Haha but yeah, Smogon is a great resource, and I don't think its true that most people here hate it, but it does restrict creativity a bit, so its fine to loosely follow builds, which is what I tend to do (it makes winning more satisfactory). Another tip is to just keep testing your teams. See what works and what doesn't. Its also good for building up your battle smarts.

Congrats to the new mods, but remember: with great power comes great responsibility. I was actually kind of surprised that the arcade posts counted, because in most forums I've visited they don't (but I guess that's probably the main reason I surpassed 100 posts finally). And ugh, I think that cockney accent made me take twice as long to read the announcement. I don't think my brain agrees with it.

That is a tough one, but since I doubt I could enter any other species society, I would say no. You can fly freely and levitate and all that jazz, BUT some force prevents you from ever touching the ground.

While the people here are pretty much all Pokemon fans, we usually talk about other things as well, like LoL (the big one, right after Pokemon), Shin Megami Tensei (mostly Persona fans, but I personally love anything SMT, or even anything atlus maybe), and heaps of other game series. There are also a lot of anime fans, so if you like any of those things, I'm sure you'll have a great time and also, don't forget to drop by and chat about random things on the PO server if you're bored.

Actually, no, in Japan they are still Fairy type. And your Hydreigon died probably because, 1. Double type weakness, 2. You probably had no sp. defense/ hp EVs. It was not meant to live lol, it had to DIEEEE

Heck, I watched all the fillers. You can watch it if you don't mind it being completely irrelevant to the main series. Personally, I think the first filler was the best one, because it introduces Noba and Kurodo (no one gives a damn about Ririn).

If you are in a clan, I'd recommend pretty much any of the research weapons, since they are pretty decent, but they only unlock at certain ranks, and if you're not in a good sized clan it will take a while to research ( I practically built my whole clan dojo myself. Never trusting my friends to help again lol). For your secondary weapon, I recommend getting kunai or the throwing star things (I know the name starts with H), or if you can manage, kill the stalker and get Despair. The kunai are pretty good all around, but take a bit of getting used to, and the throwing star things are good against infested. Also, look out for events that give weapons, as those weapons often have a catalyst installed already ( but since I haven't played forever I don't know how often they're doing events) Also, generally it goes Fire > Infested, Cold > Grineer and Electric > Corpus. This is just damage wise, so the different elements still have their effects.
