Pokemon Rejuvenation EV Training Guide (UPDATED TO V9, BUT NOT REALLY)
Milotic replied to Milotic's topic in Rejuvenation
You probably havent beaten the gym needed to acquire the card yet. -
Gen 5 Graphics changed everything man, they're so good. Also is Corta forest now Mirage woods, or is Mirage woods being added to Corta forest?

Ok so for you always lead Golem and get up Stealth rocks. Add Abomasnow for Hail if you want to get rid of the rain field effect. thrown in some fire types, add Cofagrigus for Bug resistance and if you want, bring in Garbador for T-spikes support and another bug resist and you should be good to go. For you, I highly suggest searching the fourms and find out where you get Rain dance. There has been so many changes to the game, that I dont even know how you get it now lol. But if all that fails then what you need to do is bring back Houndoom and give it flash fire ability if it doesnt have it already to eat some fire attacks. If you wanna evolve Graveler, Link Hearts are sold on route 3 during the day time for 10,000. So you need money if you dont got it. It would also be nice if you could change Golduck's ability to Cloud nine, which negates weather. Of course you need ability capsules for that, which are also sold on route 3. You cant evolve electabuzz atm, unless you caught elekid while it was holding the electrizer. Main things tho: Lead Graveler/Golem and soft restart until you are able to get Stealth rocks up, they are crucial for your victory. You might also need to catch some water types. I believe there are some that learn Rain dance thru level up. Abomasnow also gets rid of the Sun if you bring it out later, so use that wisely if you cant get Rain dance. Make use of status inducing mons (like Twave Electabuzz) and you should be good to go.

you'd be surprised, that game is looking pretty lit, im expecting sun and moon to occupy the rest of the year lol.

All you literally need to do is train Hitmonchan to like lvl 62, learn Close Combat, and then use reverse candies on it. Angie will be a piece of cake lol
-
For future reference you can always check out the pokemon location guide, but you fish for corpish with a good rod in Goldenleaf town iirc, I dont think there is necessarily a bad Grass type to have, but a lot of ppl are fond of jumpluff and there's always leafeon if you want that. I dont think Mawile has too much use in the game period imo, too slow and too frail on the SpD side. idk about his field effect tho check the mannual inside the rejuvenation folder.

Rain Dance is key. Also having more Water types couldnt hurt. What you really want to do is catch a graveler or boldore with Sturdy and Stealth rock so you can weaken her whole team. Set those up and you should be fine for this battle really. Also try updating your pokemon, what I mean by this is you've reached this far in the game, its time to use better pokemon. Like replace Mightyena with a more suitable dark type or ghost type like Chandelure or Crawdant.

You're team aint bad at all, literally just put rain dance on some of your pokemon and you'll be good. If you wanna go the extra mile catch a boldore, it has stealth rock and sturdy, so you can hinder amber alot. But mainly just set up rain and use strong attacks. It would be nice if Solrock fusion had rock slide as well, since it is a double battle. If you have a heart scale you might wanna use it on solrock

Pokemon Rejuvenation EV Training Guide (UPDATED TO V9, BUT NOT REALLY)
Milotic replied to Milotic's topic in Rejuvenation
the ladder is for something completely different, but you'll be able to get the SpD card after youi get strength -
Well for starters, try catching a Graveler or Boldore with sturdy, they both learn Stealth rock which pretty much destroys Crawli. Noivern and Dusclops are good pokemon, but I dont really see what use Altaria will have now and in the long run. Greninja is an all around good pokemon, just becuase it didnt work out once or twice, doesnt mean you should get rid of it. And on Crawli's field it's always raining, so Greninja does have some use, like finishing off weak pokemon cuz it's so fast and versatile. And from there I'd say, just start using whatever you want. Find some strong useable pokemon that'll help you in many situations. You could use a good fire type and a status user is always nice to have, find something with T-wave, and make sure your pokemon are always at the level cap GL. And also for Moomoo Milk, just buy a bunch of oran berries from Gearen city, then go deep into Corta Forest and get past the Kingdra statue. If you have no idea what I'm talking about just look it up on the fourms, once you get past all that, there is a Miltank back there, feed it oran berries and you get moomoomilk in return

Pokemon Rejuvenation EV Training Guide (UPDATED TO V9, BUT NOT REALLY)
Milotic replied to Milotic's topic in Rejuvenation
My bad I've been a bit lazy in updating, but by now you should have come across the SpA Card, so you can EV train in the center. If you havent come across it yet, I have a mini guide of how to find the cards in the main post. -
Well your best bet is to go back to the Cabin behind the trees, and grind there, so your pokemon can get stronger. And why arent you using Blaziken it gets speed boost, it'll be able to outspeed the Gardevoir

Is this game difficult in anyway at all or at least somewhat on a Reborn level? Like I've heard you get legends and good pokemon kinda early (probably wont use any legends tho), and your opponents also get legends. Im thinking about trying this out, but lately I've only been interested in more challenging games. Any insight?
-
Really? I just battled her not too long ago in V8, and she led Politoed, unless you're talking about Normal version, I only know the intense version teams, but Raze Sawr if you are playing on Normal version, I guess scrap the the part about the water type, cuz even if she does lead Lanturn, hard switching to Manectric could be useless, since Lanturn gets volt absorb.
-
Here's a couple of things you can do. Pretty much drop everything that cant help vs this gym (Graveler, Houndoom, Weepingbell). Then go catch a Dustox, you can find it in the grass on Terajuma Island. It learns Light Screen and Toxic(throw a light clay on as well if you have it). This will help you a ton vs Valarie's team. Also go catch a water pokemon. I say this becuase I believe her lead politoed has Hp Electric regardless of the difficulty mode. So lead with a water pokemon, bait the Hp electric, then switch directly to Manectric to get the lighting rod boost, so you can hit hard with discharge. Also make sure all of your pokemon hit the Lvl Cap, so train up with the pokemon breeder till about lvl 44-45. You should be good now.

you have to defeat Naracissa first iirc

Check out the EV training guide, it helps with stuff like this. For Ex: Instead of using that room for Ev training, If you go to route 3(the route right after Sheridan Village), surf in the water and you'll get Basculin which give out 2 Spe Ev points, and they are the only encounter there.

its not uselss if you still need the item to evolve your elekid, there is no other way to get the electrizer. An easier way to catch elekid with electizer is to go get a pokemon with with Frisk and lead with it, then if it doesnt have the item then SR, it honestly shouldnt take more than 30 mins, but i guess everyone's luck is different

Not sure if this bug is already known, but when using Hidden Power with a Protean pokemon like Greninja, it just changes the typing to Normal which is impossible lol, I wonder why it won't use it's IVs

Pokemon XY and XY&Z. Did the Pokemon Anime get better?
Milotic replied to ArmoredGuardian's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Yooo when did this show get so lit lol, I havent watched the anime in a couple of years, then I come across the Ash vs Shouta battle, and that shit was absolute flames haha, and that OP looks powerful as hell, even tho i guess its kinda old now, it was my first time seeing it. Team flare actually got me hyped up lmao, and I hear Giovanni came back?!?! Cant believe it lol, ima have to hop back on -
While it hasnt been confimed yet, i think only the Gen 1 fossils are obtainable through mining. I've found Kabuto and Omanyte, but thats it. Gen 6 fossils obtainable thru side mission
