    THIS IS A TERRIBLE DAY! First, I wake up to a message which came in the morning saying urgent so I look at the message on my phone and it tells me I've been laid off my contract position and then the whole day, I've been questioning why and how this could have happened when I worked as hard as I could and had loyalty to my employer and they thought I wasn't committed enough. ARE YOU FRICKIN KIDDING ME? I was one of the most committed to the job people on the team ugh... Anyways, the terrible day continues because just an hour ago at a kids christmas party I was helping with because I am part of the board of the community centre running it, I dropped my phone and it shattered the touch screen and screen so NOW I have to look for a way to either get it fixed or buy a new phone and I JUST WANT THIS DAY TO BE OVER before anymore bad things happen. I also need some supportive words from people because I was sad due to being let go for no reason today. I hope other people's days have been better because THIS IS A TERRIBLE DAY for me! :(

      sucky day indeed, sometimes companies just have to lay people off because of budgets no matter how well of a job you do.

      Ame just got laid off recently so it's not just you who has had this happen. Anyways take care and hope for a better tomorrow. Once you hit rock bottom, the only direction you can go is up.

      Yeah Red Chaos. My work friend who saw the email said that's exactly what a budget cut email is so dont take it personally but it's my first big job of my life so I can't help but take it personally because they could have just not extended my contract to February then. :( 

       

      OH no Commander. I didn't know and I send my sympathies to her then. You are correct and yes I do hope for a better tomorrow and that this has happened for a reason to be seen hopefully but it still frustrated me because I don't want to hit rock bottom to be able to finally go back up. Oh well I suppose time will tell what happens.
