    RMXP is on Steam. Wait for Sales if you want or buy it for 25 dollars, Essentials is free on the Essentials wiki, Graphicsgale is free online, notepad++ is also free. I don't know about the other programs since I never use them so sorry I can't help more. You just have to look around to find the resources but they are out there for sure. I wish you good luck and I know the exact same feeling of not knowing most of the game development when you start. I was the same way but I learned some spriting, mapping over the course of my game designing and now I'm a much more knowledgeable game creator but also you don't have to do it alone. If you run into trouble and need some occasional help, I'm sure the very nice and helpful people here in Reborn will be glad to help you out like they did for me. Disclaimer: I do have a team because I polished my idea and made it appealing for potential team members so maybe consider doing the same and you might find some people willing to join you in making your game. Don't sell yourself short like Ame was saying above just because you don't know how to make a game all by yourself and really you just have to be willing to learn over time like I am so I can be more than just the manager/story person of the team for my game. BTW that purple sprite is so good imo but I'm not the best at spriting and are more the idea/story kind of guy.

    Hello Ame. Do you want people to share/tweet about this because Team Darkness can tweet about supporting a fellow amazing game creator if you would like? I plan to help you a lot per month so I hope you continue to have lots of support from people. This was an awesome idea. I just hope it doesn't backfire later on somehow.

    I guess the site is going down but the question is what will it give rise to when it comes back? Will it still be this site or somewhere else and how will we know what to do while this is down? ;) Question though, will all my PMs stay in tact for when the forum or whatever it becomes comes back? If not, how do I save them easily exactly?

      phew what a relief. I don't like to delete things unnecessarily so losing all my PMs would not be nice for me so I appreciate that everything will be saved and thanks for the response. Good luck with the updating of the site/forum and can't wait to see what it becomes but how long will it be down for and will it be another domain name or same pokemonreborn.com/forum it has been recently. :)

      I read the thread about it and it says up to a week for it to transfer so that answers that and it says new domain so if this goes down, how will we know what the new site url is then?

    Hello everyone. Does anyone else here really like Fire Emblem because I was thinking it has become pretty easy to make a hack of it these days with so much advancement in resources so maybe we could start like a Reborn community hack using characters created by us for the FE RPs as the party/cast. What do you guys think about this? Obviously open to suggestions if people don't want to give consent to use their characters from the FE RPs in this would be hack. :D

      Being part of the pokemon hacking community beforehand, making hacks are quite difficult and you are looking at a few years of commitment.

      I understand that Commander but you never know if people are just looking for a catalyst or group of people to join them in making one and this could be that but yes I know it's a lot of commitment but again it doesn't hurt to gauge interest does it?

    I'm going to be blunt/frank. I have been dealing with the mentality that the RP host is always right and can never be questioned and just because you do, means you don't respect them. Look you can question someone in life but still respect the heck out of them and just because I might question a host in the future or past doesn't mean I didn't respect them. If I feel something a host would do is fishy such as putting a mechanic or detail and not following through on it, I feel...

    Yes, I understand that. I'm sorry for calling it fluff and pointless, I didn't realize it was an important part of this. I do apologize about that. I forgot support convos happen mid-battle majority of the games but that becomes the next question then. Is the conversation between Suto and Huk a support conversation then and does that mean for these RPs you don't need to be between chapters time to raise a support level or how does it work? To be totally clear, I wasn't saying don't have conversations at all and it seems Krim you are twisting my words which is why I want to be totally clear. I was thinking these conversations should happen after the chapter ends and between the chapters because they are support ones but the above posts reminded me supports happen in midbattle which I forgot so I understand better now. I just wanted to say my thoughts but I was not expecting to be attacked for them so thanks a lot. I appreciate the understanding that oh maybe I can make a mistake in thinking somehow. *sarcasm implied* EDIT: To Huk, Murdoc and Inno, I forgot Supports can happen midbattle so thanks for reminding me and I apologize for forgetting.

    I'm confused about something and whether it's okay to do it. I notice now Huk and Suto are having a full fledged conversation which should be saved for support convos AFTER a battle/chapter NOT DURING right? It adds a lot of fluff to the thread which if people want to catch up later in the future or something and see how the battles went, they have to endure through the pointless fluff. The enemy is not going to let you just sit around and chat so how can they have this conversation while battling the pirate army exactly lol. Just my opinion but I would think it's reasonable that you can't have a conversation while battling an enemy army tbh and would rather wait till after the battle to chat to your heart's content. XD

    so if Madante dies, is it game over for the party? His class is lord so that's what I'm thinking but I'm just wondering. Anyways excited for this and that it has started.     Oh okay, I didn't know so I was just being careful. No problem and you're welcome about the kind words. Hopefully together we three can still be in this later on when more recruitment happens but if not, oh well I guess and Link and Roku, make sure to have loads of fun for me as well.

    Congratulations to my 2 friends Link and Roku for making it. I'm sure you'll do awesome Roku and I'll be watching over time so just try your best. Maybe play some FE over time to get a better hang of the mechanics, strategy etc. Wish we could have been together all three of us for this but it's fine but in reality I'm very sad. Also congratulations Pyon. You're not just a host but a participant this time. Can't wait to see how you do. I agree with Commander which is why I gave him a like on his comment. Have a great night and I need time to grieve the exclusion of my character for the time being lol. XD

      There are many reasons why one app, even if they're the same, is chosen over another. You should respect the host even if they do not pick you.

      I know that and I do respect the hosts even if I question them about the exclusion just so I can clearly understand why I might not have got picked. I just don't handle rejection/exclusion well is all. :( Oh well, this will help me grow as a person and to learn how to take rejection/exclusion better in the future.

    The new JP trailer that just came out has LOTS of new information such as popplio learning aqua jet, torracat having fire blast, turtonator having flamethrower, etc and I'm still watching it but we also see the bug and psychic z moves in it which is cool. I feel like there could be some potential things to discuss with these last few trailers that have recently come out.

    I love math despite sucking in calculus and functions in gr 12 lol. I like the simple math with numbers for addition, subtraction, division and multiplication not the complicated junk math. It's why I'm pursuing accounting field of career. I don't mind calculating my own things if need be. 2 more days until we learn who will be part of this rp. Super excited.

    Hey Roku. Nice to see you around. Remember what we said we would want to do as RP newbies in the showdown lobby chat a while ago during nations? Be in an RP together.     Can we all agree that different people want to go about battling in different ways and stop arguing about it? I personally am an avoid liker so I love swordmasters, snipers, wyvern units, etc with great avoid.
