I should have been more clear, I meant the poison type moves. If its not very effective then its hard for her to finish you off. I also heard somebody caught 2 Muks in order to do this. I just used my regular team, that's probably why it was so close.

You can definitely get them while mining, If your worried about how long it would take I think they are reasonably common.

You might want to get another Pokémon to fill the sixth slot, even if its only to use as a shield while you heal.

A couple of other creepy entries. Yamask - These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. Each retains memories of its former life. Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry. Lampet - This ominous Pokémon is feared. Through cities it wanders, searching for the spirits of the fallen. It arrives near the moment of death and steals spirit from the body.

Don't even get me started, it came down to both of our last Pokémon running out of pp and using struggle. I had to spam oran berries to stop myself from taking recoil damage. I've heard people say they used their own poison types to block the poison or Magnezone.

I've seen and enjoyed all of those, some nice choices. IMO Code Geass is amazing, Cowboy Bebop is great as well. About the moveset and ev's...............hehe uhhhh since its in games and not against other people I didn't ev train. The moves I use are just the most useful ones, you might not believe me but this set is extremely helpful in reborn given the nature of the game. Stockpile Glare Acid Spray Crunch

I prefer to just get it as soon as possible and play at home, for a week to me its not worth playing the demo.

Status problems can usually win you any battle. Something else that can give you an edge are gimmick moves like super fang or moves that do a bit of damage and lower the enemies stats at the same time. -I'll make this look more official and add some stuff later.

Have you tried using Hypnosis and then switching into something with a strong dark type move or water for the chandelure.

I was under the impression that he did exactly that, it says its fake in the first post. Nonetheless it was amusing.

I beat him today with Arbok and Raticate and about 5 super potions. Pretty much used the rest of my team as a shield.

Apparently using an escape rope to exit Apophyll cave 2f(possibly 1f as well) makes your character unmovable. Is this a known glitch? Not a problem since I saved before i used the escape rope out of habit.
