Arial had only stayed for another hour or so after Klive and Rene left the beach yesterday; she was just fusing her dragons mindlessly while she thought about the events that had transpired earlier. At last, when she is satisfied with her internal sorting of said events, Arial found herself standing in front of Cyber Dragon Nova or Infinity's younger brother, as she likes to call it. After she checked the time on her D-Pad, Arial proceeded to slip the cards back into her deck, allowing Nova to disintegrate into thin air. Arial hummed happily as she made her way home on her motor scooter, pleased with herself and the world. -------------------- {Monika and those in the Classroom} Arial quickly jotted down the last few notes of today's lecture before she heard Anna talking about the museum and the myth surrounding Osiris and Isis. The green-eyed teen was intrigued; since when was Professor Reinier interested in Egyptian mythology? She couldn't recall a time when the woman spoke about it before. And then she began talking about Japan's creation myth with Izanami and Izanagi... Just what is her point? 'It's almost like she's hinting that I should go to find Johnson or something...' Once the bell rang to signal lunch, Arial watched as various students shuffle (or in Red's case, run) out of the classroom as she put away her tablet and brought out her lunch. She noticed that most of her classmates she met yesterday have decided to stay behind, including the casanova and the annoying chick. Arial rolled her eyes as Luna questioned Klive on his, or her?, gender. Doesn't she know the meaning of privacy? Arial took a bite of her salad before hearing a familiar voice calling her. "Yo, Monika! What's up?" she greeted Monika, making her way over to said student. "And yeah, Rene and I went in there to take a look. It's kind of ironic, now that you mentioned it..." Arial gave a glance towards Professor Reinier before continuing. "A part of that museum talked about how ancient Egyptians believed that they could start a Shadow Game by using Isis' power. They would draw on these stone tablets, believing that the soul of that drawn creature would protect them from danger." Arial took another bite of her lunch before continuing. "These stone tablets became the monsters we use in Duel Monsters, which is really neat! But it also led to another rumor; those Shadow Games soon evolved into something called Shadow Duels, where the loser of a duel will get their soul sucked into the card while the body is left to rot." Arial took a moment to compose her thoughts on Monika's second question. She decided to leave out her melancholy part of the list of activities, since it's not relevant to the topic at hand. "After the Central Square, I went to the beach and bumped into Lisa Arclight. You know, the little girl that dresses like a goth? She told us that an archeologist knows something about Professor Tenjo's death, and said that he will be back at the beach today! But, the real kicker is that the museum exhibit was designed by an archeologist as well! And then Professor Reinier talked about the museum too! It's almost as if she wants us to go and find out! So, I have reasons to believe that those two are connected somehow!" Arial then stood up and posed dramatically, not realizing how loud she was getting. "And that's why I'm going back to the beach today! I'll get to the bottom of this to avenge Professor Tenjo's death!"

{Outside the Conclave} "Sounds good enough." Alina thanked Flux before turning to Candice. "We can take over from here. Just focus on Drake." "We'll be back as soon as we can then." Candice replied before released her Regice. "Regi, let's get him back to the healing room. We also need to warn those girls." A low cry of confirmation came from the Ice type before it lifted Drake's corpse from his other side. Typhoon, the Crobat, also began to follow close behind as the duo made their way back to the gym. "Should we herd them to the building then?" Sarcus asked the professor, taking a position by Alina and Flux. "This group won't be able to cause trouble once we cut out their escape routes." His trusty partner, Absolution, then sent a Slash to redirect a stray attack that attempted to strike Sarcus' head. Unfortunately, that same blast had struck Regi from behind, causing a jerk that sent Typhoon's Pokeball flying! The surprised Crobat didn't even have time to react before he was sucked into his capsule once more. Due to the chaos around them, the capsule was soon kicked and tossed to a safer place, lost in the white snow... ((Flux, you can control those acolytes~ However, do not do anything with the lost Pokeball! It will become relevant later on. This goes for everyone in the RP!))

{Danielle vs Evan} Danielle walked into the steel cage cautiously, examining it from all different angles. She then contemplated on her three Pokemon; while Avis and Corona would be ideal for this type of battlefield, it also imposes a greater risk of an accidental forfeiture, since they are both so small and can easily fit through those gaping holes. And given what she knew about Evan's team (thanks to the database), Danielle normally would, again, want to go with those two due to their agility. ‘It doesn’t help that Mr. Brand isn’t giving us any more information about this cage.’ Danielle thought as she stared at the arena. ‘There has to be something to it other than those bars, but what? I don’t want to send Avis into a death trap by mistake…’ Danielle took a deep breath and unlatched her Great Ball from her belt. “Alright, Zared, you got your wish. Come out!” She watched as her Mawile popped out of his capsule; his battle cry could be heard echoing throughout the stadium as he got into position. ‘Zared is the most defensive Pokemon that I have at the moment, if anyone could take a few hits for me while I figure out this cage, it’s him. It also helps that he battled in tight places before.’ “Be careful, Zared. Just don’t get knocked out of this cage and you’ll be fine.” She finally turned to Evan and forced a smile. “Good luck then.” The Mawile just nodded at his master’s suggestion. He knew his way around that obstacle as soon as he set foot on this small stage. Right now, he’s more focused on Evan’s side of the field. Let’s see if Evan can back up those words he used yesterday. This could either be a delicious treat or a disappointing trick. Zared just hoped it is the former.

{Beach group - Last post} Arial summoned a Cyber Drei before she gave a wave to Rene. Then, she turned to Klive. Who would want to hear her ridiculous sob story? Arial was sure that the others could have suffered more than her; at least Arial has a fancy roof over her head every night. But Klive did bring up a good point; Arial was a socialite so, naturally, she would prefer express her thoughts to someone that would talk back. And yet, despite wanting to, Arial found herself stuck in the sand with a lump in her throat. "... You're right, it does." Arial finally sighed, realizing defeat. "But a good philosopher has also said that there is a good time and place for everything. For me, it's not now." She gave a small smile to xem, slightly more cheerful than before. "Thanks for the concern, though. I appreciate it, really. Don't worry about me; these guys always had my back." With that, she summoned the regular Cyber Dragon, a Cyber Dragon Core, a Cyber Dragon Zwei and, finally, Cyber Dragon Infinity, who each roared as they appeared. Arial turned to face her pride and joy. "And I know they will always be behind me no matter what."

{Jacob, Danielle and Sawsbuck} Danielle sighed with relief when Sawsbuck finally lowered his stern gaze; she was honestly afraid that he would kick her out after that embarrassing display of admiration. The coordinator then listened as Jacob explained the situation before she turned to give a more natural bow to Sawsbuck. "What my friend says is true; we already know that these bad people have already made contact with one of our classmates. I think it's only a matter of time before they showed their true colors, but we just don't know when." At this point, Zared growled to confirm the humans' suspicions, for he was the one who spoke to a captured Pokemon that was given to the said classmate. Based on the information that the Skarmory - for that was the captured Pokemon - had told him, the Mawile believes that these people are more than just ordinary poachers. Corona screeched, agreeing to Zared's point. The bird was given to a very mean human boy too, so she wouldn't be surprised if he started to hurt them. Avis called out to calm the riled duo; they here to warn Sawsbuck about the potential danger, not deliver a story. Although, she will admit to the Prince, what her teammates said is true. The Murkrow then informed the leader that she has given the full account of the situation to a murder of native Murkrows, should he wish to investigate further. In her humble opinion, it would be wise to obtain more information about any suspicious activities as quick as possible.

{Beach group} Arial watched in silence as Lisa left them; Lisa admitting that she was just lonely struck a sentimental chord within her since Arial, herself, also feels the same way outside of school. Her older brothers have all gone to dorm at different universities while her parents usually come home way past her bedtime, or they never came home at all. The pangs of nostalgia began to cloud her thoughts again; the green-eyed girl barely registered what was going on around her. Perhaps, Arial thought, she would come back to the beach tomorrow just to have an actual conversation with the lolita. Screw Johnson and illegal duels, a child shouldn't have to go through this... "I'm coming back here tomorrow after class." Arial suddenly declared to Klive, Rene and whomever else was listening at that time. She then turned to face the blue saltwater and turned on her D-Pad, readying herself to draw. "You guys can leave if you want; I just need to some time to think alone." 'How ironic: I don't like being alone and yet I'm driving them out. Go figure...'

313 Wat u talkin about? She has a mini fedora right now! I said it many times in the OOC, Avis isn't going to evolve. I like Murkrows more than Honchkrows xD The only reason I added a Dusk Stone into the story is because Danielle and her parents thought Avis would want to evolve, since many Pokemons do. At this point, Avis is contemplating on it, since she doesn't like getting blown away by bigger opponents but, hopefully, I'll be able to sneak something into the story to make her change her mind (Corona's or Bulbasaur's evolution?) Hi Shing!

I'm tempted to let Bubble get off that Hydro Pump(?) scot free just to see what would happen... <.<
