If you can't admit your own faults, how are you ever going to improve... besides, saying a map I spent an hour creating is bad isn't exactly being hard on myself.

hmmm I agree you can't improve if you don't admit your faults but you also have to take the good moments. The fact you spent an hour and got that much done even if you don't think its good is a good thing in my opinion at least and okay if you say it's isn't being hard on yourself, I'll believe you.
