As long as there's a copy of the save file it really doesn't matter where it is. Nothing will about the game will delete the parent folder And no, not really. As long as the game could open the backup save if you renamed it, you're fine. Really the only way to open the save other than just the game is special editors which can actually display it. An .rxdata file isn't text based, it's actually binary, if I'm correct. Long story short, you're fine.

Fuck you nature. Why do have to be 80 degrees on Wednesday and Saturday, but 20 degrees on Thursday and Friday, just for my lacrosse tryouts.

Yeah. Actually I do. We have 11 members or something. Granted, most of them suck, so we can barely beat the raids. We have a save at both Crota and Atheon this week and we won't be able to finish them. Two of us can usually solo the nightfall, so the rest are dragging us down, even though they're 31 - or they're such an asshole no one actually wants to play with them. Does Reborn's clan have an Xbone side to it?

Nah. He broke it cause he fucked up the mods. I have a custom client that's independent of Showdown. Only thing I use is the login server.
