Oh nice! I couldn’t find one there for whatever reason so I just kind of assumed they were at Ametrine instead.

While your point may be valid, claiming either of them as the dancing queen would spoil the episode for you all. Regardless, Titania is the 17th gym battle and is fought in the 17th episode. She therefore has double the 17 compared to the gym leader fought for the 17th gym badge, which makes her still more suited for the title.
-
Looks like you found where you need to go. Good luck!

The role of Dancing Queen does not take personal feelings into account.

There should be a certain cluster of trains you enter from the train city that takes you to the next area. If I recall, it should be somewhere in the southern end.

Because Laura was 17 before during the first few episodes of the game, she was the original Dancing Queen. This was the time in which Titania was the Dancing Princess™. After Laura’s birthday, she had no choice but to relinquish her crown and Titania took the throne as the true Dancing Queen.

As stated in ABBA's most popular song, Dancing Queen, the Dancing Queen is "only 17." This of course led me in a search to discover who the Dancing Queen of the Reborn Region is. My first thought was to immediately crown an important female character who happens to be 17-years-old. What I soon found out was that not a single female character in the Reborn Region is 17-years-old. Of the youngest female characters, Aya is 16, Luna is 18, and Laura is also 18 (though this means she was formerly the dancing queen while she was still in the orphanage). So, no one was able to qualify as Reborn's Dancing Queen. However, this result did not satisfy me and I went to another category to discover who Reborn's Dancing Queen could be. As it turns out, the 17th gym battle in Reborn is with a female gym leader, and she is Titania! Seeking acceptance from the most reliable source of information, I reached out to Amethyst herself for confirmation of my decision. She had this to say. So, without further ado, I present the Dancing Queen of the Reborn Region!

That's sort of where things like this tend to get complicated. I know that since I personally don't take issue with these things, a trigger warning would, as you said spoil the shock factor of it all. But for people who clearly need warnings before these events, as they are more sensitive to these topics, it would probably be more important for them to know in advance. I don't want to sit here and speak on behalf of people who would want a trigger warning, because I know that I don't care either way and a trigger warning is not a necessity for me, but it feels as if the shock factor does not nearly outweigh the emotional damage or reminders of past traumas. And that's where the issue lies. Should the minority of people in need be given the warning as a precaution for their own safety, or should the majority be satisfied by the shock factor of it all? In my personal opinion, I'd feel better seeing the former, but I'd be fine either way.

I've beta tested this game for probably about 4 years and just had my first experience alpha testing, and I can say that it in no way kills the atmosphere of the story. Sure you'll find some bugs that can be funny or make things a little easier or harder than they should be, but the story holds true throughout the entire experience and I'd say you should give it a try if you think you're willing to put the time into it. Plus there's always the perk of knowing the events of the episode before others do, and that's a fun secret to sit on. Makes these theory discussions in here all the more entertaining.

I mean I really do relate with the constant need to apologize for no reason, but it's definitely easy to mistake what he said considering other people were talking at the same time.

Mo's mention of needing a trigger warning is actually a good point. While the game is not nearly as vivid in its depictions of suicide as other games (considering it's gen 3 sprites in a pokemon game), the concept in and of itself can be enough to send someone. I know that Absol in a sense acts as a trigger warning since he appears before every disaster, but it's not something necessarily clear. And I do also know in the title screen that there is a message (that doesn't last for long unfortunately) that mentions that the content may not be suitable for all audiences, but it clearly didn't do enough for Mo in this situation. As much as people can assume he can be faulted for not paying enough attention, it's easy to miss that message in the title screen and the Absol, while implying a disastrous event is to occur, does not explicitly state a trigger warning for suicide. And with the 2 suicide attempts, an implied third, and Amaria's implications of self-harm, it might be important to make a trigger warning more apparent. I hadn't really considered it before since I've never had an issue with the way self-harm and suicide were dealt with in this game, but clearly for Mo, he felt unprepared for what was coming. I hope @Amethyst sees this when she gets the chance after waking up because I feel it's a valid necessity for some people. I don't know exactly if there would be an easy way to implement in-game trigger warnings, especially considering that depending on the timing, they could become spoilers, but something before each thing would be nice if possible. So I'd say trigger warnings for Corey's suicide, Kiki's death, Amaria's attempted suicide, Eclipse's death, Titania's murders in WTC, Taka's death, and Amaria's implication of self-harm (and maybe even her attempted murder) at the very least. And perhaps an amendment to the home page and download page to include trigger warnings for the topics mentioned above.

Well, in case anyone missed it, Ame also posted that applications for Beta will be released soon. Those who are interested and meet the requirements (check dev blog for the details) can and should apply if they think they can do help.

It's actually Ametrine Mountain F2. That guide is wrong in that regard for whatever reason.
-
Glad to see I'm in the majority for the top in each category. Though I'm a little surprised about Titania. Last I heard, most people weren't that fond of her.
-
Get a Lycanroc with good attack and speed stats with rock slide and watch Charlotte crumble in 3 turns.

There is a police officer without a growlithe in the station. Talk to him and then talk to the police officer across from him and he will offer you an egg if you trade him a growlithe egg. The egg you receive is the mystery egg. Keep in mind that no matter how many times you reset, the Pokémon in that egg will not change. What’s inside is predetermined the moment you create your save file.

Almost. The PO server and the forums all were hosted but HostGator way back then. It was a really shitty service and one day the whole went kaboom and the forums were down for weeks and the PO server was no more after that. So the Reborn League was no more and we went to Showdown as a result. So it was more technical problems that led us to move to showdown vs technical problems during the switch to showdown that caused the Reborn League to stop.

My biggest advantage came from abusing her field's magical seed effect. It's annoying when she uses it. It's even worse when you do. They can't attack you while you get a free turn to set up on your Infernape with an X Attack or something. Then he can just go wild. Or if you really need to, take out the sandslash first, since that thing is a speed demon.

A few of their aces tend to stay the same, but I'm pretty sure most gym leaders have had their teams changed, especially since most of them have Gen 7 mons when the PO Reborn League was over long before Gen 7 began. Just for example, Titania's ace early on in the Reborn League was Scizor. Now, it's quite obvious that Aegislash is her ace. Regardless of their teams, these gym leaders tend to move towards Pokemon that fit their theme more. Aegislash without a doubt fits Titania's Princess meets Knight in Shining Armor motif. In Amaria's case (this was a discussion a few of the patreon supporters and myself had), her Lapras set in doubles is especially fitting for the Reshiram path. Lapras has Protect, Perish Song, Rest, and Surf. As for the three non-offensive moves, Perish Song represents her passive nature towards death in combination with her anger towards the player for indirectly causing the split between her and Titania. If Lapras were to use Perish Song and then Rest, it wouldn't be unlikely that Lapras faints in its sleep, also emphasizing how Amaria would probably be fine to just not wake up one day. Finally, Protect is indicative of unhealthy defense mechanisms that essentially everyone with mental illness develop. So their teams can often change in order to better suit their character and their themes. To bring this back to the original question, most gym leaders back in the online league had multiple teams they'd use. So it wouldn't be likely that there was a solid foundation for any of their in-game teams to be copied from.

There isn't too much of a difference aside from the people doing the testing (as you said), and the amount of bugs present in each. Alpha, because it has gone through less time in testing, will likely have more frequent and noticeable bugs. Beta, as a result, will still have quite a few bugs, but definitely less compared to Alpha. The other difference that's probably obvious, is the time in which you get to access the new episode. Alpha will be able to play through the story and other aspects of E18 before Beta, who will do so before the Community Release, who will do so before all players who are not members of the community.
-
While old Ace Members who participated in the last beta will be able to again, Ame said she will most likely put out a sort of application during the alpha to get a few new people for beta testing.
