EDIT: I may just look for a different one if that one doesn't work lol, but I don't really have the time for a bit so I'll see what I can do if it's an issue. EDIT 2: Don't worry and just axe that... I found one I liked and will probably just use this one for the time being. Thanks for the siggy Ali. Good luck with the rest of the work you have! Adeline, Drake Luckily for Adeline, Whisper was much more relaxed so despite the noise she wasn't as surprised as she would have been earlier. She was still shy but it was one person rather than a load of them. She did crush up against Drake though being shy and still a bit scared. "Shhhh, it's okay Whisper." Drake said petting her head. She calmed down quite quickly, it was evident that Drake was very used to dealing with her and helping her to relax. Now that the pup was calmed, Drake addressed Addy. "Hmmm, quite a nice surprise. It's stuff like this that makes me wonder how real fate actually is. It's got a terrible sense of humor at the least if it does having you met me by falling on your butt." she said with a giggle. Whisper whimpered ever so slightly, a little whisper of some emotion. Drake understood it. "You want to say hi Whisper?" after which the little dog whimpered again as a reply. Emberly got up with Whisper in her arms like before and walked over to Addy. The little dog in her arms visibly shaking a little due to nerves. Whisper wasn't the best with people until she got to know them. She avoided them at all costs most times, so rarel did she really get the chance to know many. However... she knew it was futile in this situation as it was with Drake's family. She was living under the same roof as those people and here it was the same. She'd have to deal with them at some point. So, Whisper did with Addy like what she did with Emberly's family. She gave up the ghost right away and gave in. She'd have to get used to her at some point, might as well make it as fast and painless as possible. Whisper was a rather smart dog, despite her fear she knew she had to it was best to get it out of the way then let it sit for a long amount of time. "Okay Addy this is Whisper for real this time." Whisper's two giant chocolate eyes looked at Addy, looking a little sad. She was still a bit scared but Emberly holding her gave her the confidence that it was going to be okay. "Let her smell your hand and get your scent. Then you can pet her. She really likes to be scratched behind her ears!" Drake said holding Whisper in-between the two of them. THe little pup was shivering a little, but still barked a soft bark as if to confirm what Drake said.

It's good it's good. I'll try to get a reply up in decent time but can't tonight I've got a job interview tomorrow so I need to rest XD. I'll probably try and get something up after that tomorrow lol.

I have a feeling people are going to pretty much instantly know Drake all the time even if they haven't talked to her... ((since she sorta sticks out like a big orange thumb...)) as she is... pretty hard to miss XD. Man... I love playing Drake so much XD. She's such a fun character for me since she's so different from my others she's just so unique in that way. Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike hnnnnnnnnnnnnng it's fun XD. She's jsut feels so fresh and so good. ((probably cause it forces me out of my comfort zone... is actually pretty damn fun lol.)) Coincidence? Or Fate? That's the question XD.

Drake After getting to the room, Drake did what she always did when arriving to her home. Instantly found the most comfortable chair and cast off her shoes. She leaned back and lounged. She was going to relax a bit while she got Whisper to relax. What better atmosphere for that then her also relaxing? That was her thought process at the least. She wanted the little pup to have a quiet space to regain her composure before she did anything else. The poor pup... Whisper did clam down considerably upon realizing they were in a place all alone. "That's right little one, you're safe here. Just relax." Drake said in a cheery voice. Whisper sat sprawled out in her lap as she stroked her beautiful ember orange fur. It had dark black accents like all Growlithe's did. The little pup panted and it's tail started to wag in excitement, a clear sign she was becoming more calm. Emberly pet the little dog all over but made sure to hit her favorite spot, right behind her ears, every once and awhile. "Who's a good girl? You are Whisper. You did a good job not being scared today. You didn't even light anybody on fire!" Emberly said while stroked her ears. Whisper whimpered a bit in a very cute manner, her way of answering. "We have roommates apparently... I wonder who mine is? Hopefully she gets here soon I'd love to meet her." Drake mused in her mind. She really did wonder who it could be, it could be anyone after all. She figured the girl would come by to drop off her stuff before going out and doing anything so being here she would definitely meet her at some point. For now she just played with Whisper as she waited, trying to relieve the little pup's stress as much as she could before setting out again. "I wonder... where will we go little Whisper? There's so much on the campus... we could have all kinds of adventure. You do like adventures right Whisper?" Whisper barked once happily in reply. It seemed more like a quiet yelp than a bark, but Drake knew what it was. The shy dog just didn't tend to bark very loudly. Anyone but Drake might misinterpret the little pup's cry from something other than agreement or excitement.

I'm just waiting for the slightly awkward moment when Addy and Drake realize they share a room XD.

Drake It didn't take too awfully long to get her registration sorted. After all... most of the paperwork was in order though it was a bit sloppily thrown together so it took a bit of extra time to sort it. "I really should get this stuff handled earlier than I do." the fiery haired girl thought to herself. Whisper started to finally relax even if it was just a little poking her brown eyes right above Drake's arm. She didn't really bury it again for the time being unless others got really close. It seemed that she was at least somewhat getting used to the din of people being around. This made Drake smile, after all... her little pup was growing a little it would seem. She could feel her still shaking in her arms though with fear, so she definitely wasn't totally over her fears yet. Drake having received all of her things for registering started to head directly to her room. 018 was the number... so that was what she would look for.

Hey I do it all the time. ((Many people notice I'll open a sentence with a certain phrase and then end it with the same one thinking i forgot to say it and ended up putting it at the end then anyway... once again grammatically correct, however very awkward looking XD.))

Man... and I thought I was the one who wrote redundant stuff all the time lol.

Adeline, Drake, Doux the Cottonee "Hmmm? Only Whisper here belongs to me that other Pokemon must be somebody else's. It just kinda landed on my head earlier. Don't know who it belongs to." Drake said smiling. Whisper poked her eyes out over Drake's arm again after hearing her name but quickly after seeing people nearby, those chocolate eyes buried themselves again with a small whimper. "Whisper is a bit shy, and she doesn't like people very much. She's scared of most things that aren't me actually." Drake said with a giggle. She stroked the little dog right behind her ears again reminding her that she was safe in her arms. "Friends are good though, good to have soembody you can count on day 1. I definitely agree there!" "Oh, crap nearly forgot I haven't registered yet." Drake said her face turning bright red. In the commotion of all the chaos it had slipped her mind. "Sorry Addy, but gotta run, perhaps I'll catch ya later? That'd be nice. Take care." Drake said turning to go register herself at the desk. Once she was finished with that she'd head directly to her new room, mostly to have a space to allow Whisper to calm down a bit. The poor thing was trembling a bit, and was full of nerves. It's be good to have a bit of time where she could get a breather and relax. She'd probably get used to the amount of people at some point.

Well Doux is jsut sitting on Drake's head at the moment, since... Pokemon. But yea that's right XD.

TO be fair she's usually going to go by Drake, but yea it's spelled without a second e XD>

Chim why do you keep putting an e before the y? It's spelled Emberly lol. I swear... my character's names get misspelled all the time XD

Not to mention the person that's not on at the moment has to respond to like... 8 million things as they slowly get piled on top of their character... which starts to make less and less sense as the moment gets weirdly suspended in time. Events happening around while that's happening though can take place while that's happening and don't make it get to strange. It getting gung ho and piling ever single action on a singular or two character that gets out of hand. TO involve yourself in a scene you don't have to DIRECTLY ((for emphasis not yelling.)) into it and interact with those characters. You can interact with others around the scene and still be a part of it. Remember, a scene is made up of more than just the direct event taking place the scene is everything else around it as well.

I mean... I don't mind it but people can't be going up to Adeline and talking to her or trying to interact with her or Emberly since Emberly is trying to help her up and while that's happening we can't have 8 other people asking because it makes no sense and you wouldn't walk up and say hello to someone that somebody is in the middle of helping off the ground ((maybe after she actually got up but we're still in the Emberly is picking her off the ground stage of things.)) I don't mind people coming over and looking or staring at the scene happening. ((after all irl we all know everyone would come over to see what was happening lol. People just have that morbid curiosity.)), just don't directly engage right now, it makes no sense to directly talk to either of them at the moment really. You can put yourself in the scene but interact with the others around it, you don't just got to talk to Adeline lol. Interact with the other characters hovering lol, after all the crowd would talk to the rest of the crowd after all lol.

Don't worry... they keep coming over and I'll literally light them on fire... because this is getting too stupidly out of hand already... ((seriously... don't anybody else add to this scene... go do something else. Too much shit is happening in it already and the main thing that's not resolved involves somebody who's not on at the moment... so it's just going to get worse. Really, make some other scenes happen please...))

Yea not trying to be a jerk here, but we're waiting for something to resolve ((which was Drake offering to help her up.)) we don't need 50 more people also doing that... cause then all that stuff has to be handled lol. Just leave it where it is for the moment XD.

Okay Az seriously... I know you want to get some interactions in but could you guys stop adding to that scene please... there's already enough shit left hanging we don't need a third person pushing into that whole thing. I'm still waiting on Tacos, please stop all piling on out of nowhere just because he hasn't posted yet...

Doux, Emberly & Adeline "Seems people forgot how to use their eyes and legs today." Drake thought to herself seeing a girl tumble and take a fall towards her. She nearly rolled her eyes at the scene... but she remembered folks were probably jittery and full of nerves. After all it was only natural on the first day of school... or anything for that matter. Excitement got to some folks more than her perhaps. "You alright? That was quite the tumble. Let me help you up. The name's Emberly, I go by Drake though. This is a strange way to meet somebody." she said stooping to give the girl a hand. After all due to her large size she had to squat down to even reach. Part of the awkwardness of being so huge. She outreached her hand for the girl who had just taken a tumble to try and help her to her feet.

It was pretty easy to notice the weight despite how little it was, settling onto her head for Drake. A strange... cotton sensation? It was clearly a Pokemon but she had no idea what kind. Either way, it was rather interesting development. She just hoped whatever it was that Whisper didn't get to scared of it and make her fiery hair... quite literally fiery. "And who might you be?" Drake asked of the little creature now sitting on her head. "Are you friendly? I imagine you're very friendly if you're sitting on my head. I bet your really cute too but I can't see you." she said in a soft voice so that the little Pokemon on her head could hear her but not be intimidating. It was near babyspeak, but it wasn't actually. She put her hand up in front of where she believed the little creature's head was so the creature could see she was lifting her hand up to pet it. She wondered what the little creature sitting on her head looked like. She hoped it was really cute so that it didn't scare Whisper who still had her head buried in Drake's arm. "Hopefully you don't mind me touching you to much. I bet your really soft and fluffy. Can you see my hand?" she asked the little creature making sure it knew she didn't mean it harm and was trying to be friendly.

I wonder which poor unfortunate sucker got stuck with Drake now lol. Here's hoping they don't scare Whisper too much since that might end up in Ember burning a bunch of their stuff XD.

Oh boy, well I've posted. However if I don't get to posting in a decent time ahead of time I apologize... lots of crap happening in my life at the moment... ((Dad's getting surgery this morning I believe and I have a job interview tomorrow...)) so I apologize ahead of time if I get a bit spotty. ALso feel free to ignore Emberly ((she's probably mostly going to go by Drake to avoid confusing myself lol)), Wild or Hiss. I jsut put that there since she probably would've arrived right when it was happening and jsut left a little part there if you guys wanted to. I don't mind if you ignore it entirely though lol.

"Fashionably late as always..." Drake thought to herself as she heard the loud Welcoming. After all she was late due to the fact that... she waited until the very last second to get all her paperwork in order. After all there was nothing that Drake hated more in this universe then paperwork. It was so pointless, and oh so annoying. Therefore like always she put it off forever. And therefore like always it was a mad scramble to get things in order at the last minute. "I should really stop doing this..." she sighed aloud as she walked towards the back of the line. She was one of the last to arrive after all. Her orange fiery hair stuck out above nearly the entire line as no one was near her height among the students. Drake had always been much taller than those her age. No one really knew why, but she was always giant compared to others. She stuck out like a sore thumb amongst other kids. She was always heads and shoulders above them quite literally. The manner of her dress probably didn't help the situation either since she had a tendency to wear bright oranges, it was easily her favorite colour. Her fire appearance made her stick out even more, like a giant inferno in the middle of a forest... it was pretty easy to see even from far away. In her arms... was a little Growlithe. It was very small, and only looked that much more in the arms of the giant holding her. It was squirming a bit as it buried it's face in Drake's arms. THis was Whisper, her first pokemon. She was always a shy one. It was like pulling teeth to get her to leave the car when they had arrived here. Whisper had seen so many people and she didn't want to leave. It wasn't until Emberly put the little pup in her arms that she relaxed even a little bit. She was still scared but her big sister had her now so she was safe. Drake chuckled softly at Whisper attempting to hide. It's what she always did. "Come on Whisper, I'm sure many people want to meet you! You shouldn't be hiding her head." Drake exclaimed with a beaming smile on her face. It had all the warmth of the sun. Whisper let out a soft bark in reply, but didn't make much effort to bring out her face. All that could be seen of her was too big brown puppy eyes right over the edge of Drake's arm. She at least turned around. However, Drake was certain that anyone or any pokemon that came up to them would probably scare her enough she'd bury those two chocolate coloured eyes of hers right back in her arm. She sighed. She loved Whisper dearly, they were the best of friends after all. She just wished she was a tad more outgoing. She was nearly horrified of everything. It was obvious why though to Drake so she didn't complain. After all, the little dog was much like her in some regards... both freaks of nature. Drake was much too big for her age, and Whisper was much too small. The runt of the litter, and the giant girl. Both ridiculed for their size. It was why they were such fast friends, ones that couldn't be separated no matter what. Drake pet the little dig behind her ears, the place she liked it best. Perhaps it would get her to relax a bit and not be so scared. It was definitely helping as Drake could feel the tension in Whisper's body releasing ever so slightly. It took her awhile to get into the main building, she even nearly hit her head on the doorframe... a common problem for Emberly. She was quite a bit taller than most so not all that many doorways really met her height, she had to stoop ever so slightly to fit at times. The worst was she usually wasn't paying attention... she was a tad flighty at times. However, she was focused to today. She was trying to not startle Whisper anymore than the poor pup was, the loud bang from her hitting her head definitely wouldn't help that cause. However, that wasn't to last. She had nearly reached the line when towards the back a boy ran straight into a young girl with a Vulpix on her shoulder. The impact and sudden motion scared the little pup right back to square one with a loud yelp or freight. Drake could feel the cold nose pressing against her arm so she knew the little Growlithe had buried her head trying to hide from what was scaring her. Emberly sighed still stroking the Pup right behind her ears. Hopefully she could get registered soon and put Whisper in her room a place that felt safer than here and get her to calm down enough there. She walked up behind the girl and the guy who had crashed into her hoping that they didn't hear Whisper's loud yelp. She didn't want to add too much to the already surfacing commotion. "Um... I'm... sorry about my Froakie, Miss. Hope he didn't hur- I mean, scare you." was what the boy said to the hooded girl. Drake thought to herself "Is his control of his Pokemon that bad?" well... she thought she was jsut thinking that to herself... in reality she actually blurted out her thoughts quite loudly. her face went instantly red... and she just hoped that he didn't hear her say anything. After all he was busy talking to the hooded girl perhaps he wouldn't notice?
