"Aye." was the only thing he said in response. Cookie quickly disappeared back into the forest almost as quickly as he had come up on them. He was probably a very adept scout, though it still struck Odin as odd that the Gnoll performed a Gnoll ritual for them. He wasn't sure, but the dust scattering was a bit much for a simple prayer. He didn't question it too much as Cookie meant well, so it was probably some thing his people believed in. The group was left in the forest alone now. They had but one goal, to reach the Sorrow's Spring the place where Blue said to meet him after escaping Hawk's Roost. It was apparently nearby the road to the south of Hawk's Roost, on the way to Farreach. If Blue said to met him there, it most likely was easy enough to notice if one was looking for it. -

Remember, I always change the canon. I didn;t really know it for Gnolls in the first place, but they are more spiritual people in Graterras.

Gnolls are pretty cool and I like them a lot XD. I am not sure if they would be kinda op as a PC or not though lol.

I don;t think any of your characters would know Gnoll culture, but that powder he threw over you is Prayer Dust. It is made of a mixture of Oxidized Iron and other metals. It is a rather important thing in Gnoll prayers and rituals. The one Cookie just did was the Traveler's Prayer, or The Blessing of the One Who Walks. It is spoken before a group goes on an important journey, such as a Gnoll leaving their village for a pilgrimage or a long journey. It is one of the most important Gnoll rituals as it is one of their highest values. Gnolls glorify their trailblazers, the ones who find lost treasures of the world and wonders no others have seen. This stems from their highly nomadic life style long ago, but now as they aren't nomads really it is a mystery as to why it remained. However, they value these people highly. ((Dru possibly could, but I doubt he would know that much of their culture.)) Gnolls worship Aelia above the other gods, as they believe in the winds of the world, that they find hidden places, however they worship the other 3 Elemental gods as well. They believe Tectaniteus is the true keepr of secrets, hiding things deep within the earth. They Believe Pyron to be the one who gives the Trailblazers the passion and courage to seek out those secrets. And they believe Seeker gives them the wisdom and knowledge to find them. Why does Cookie know it, and have the things necessary to perform it? I dunno.

Yea, just be careful with that Krim. You are newer, so you will get a bit of leeway. ((basically never make a character under another's control do anything that wasn't explicitly stated.))

Lobo went flying along with a ton of snow. The clumsy hound fell for the sneak attack.....of course. He landed on his back covered in snow. He leapt up shaking it everywhere. Some of it melted in his fur as he was pretty warm to the touch. ((he was a Fire type after all.)), but most of it came sloughing off in big chucks. The snow on him melted just enough that it stuck in clumps. He picked up some of the clumped snow with his tail and flicked it at Raito. "Glad that is taken care of." said Lupus with a rather nervous expression on his face to Miki. "I get tensions are high, but this is silly. Then again, I rarely understand people."

"Alright, I will leave you with the Traveler's Prayer. It is gnoll tradition." Cookie said as he bowed humbily. He took a deep breathe. and then recited an old Gnoll Traveler's prayer. he did it in a voice that was almost like a song, a high pitched thrum came from his throat as he spoke. It wasn't a harsh sound, but one that seemed to be saying goodbye. It was beautiful, even when it was behind the words. "May the gods guide your feet, so that you might reach your destination. May they stay the pains of hunger and the dangers of the trail. May they keep back the beasts, the monsters, and those that mean harm. May they bring good weather, and beautiful skys. Walk with the conviction of the traveler, for your feet guide you to many mysteries, and many wonders. Hold your head high, for you who journeys the land to see it many treasures and many sores. Traveler, let the gods hold you safe while you walk to see the world now be born from the curiosity of the world, and may you take it, and mold it into the shape you see fit. Go, for now you are blessed in the eyes of the world." he took from his pocket a small batch of powder. He blew it into the wind. It fluttered away, strangely in the direction the group was headed. He then poured a small amount into his hand. And threw it over the party. He bowed once more. "Go now, and I hope we meet after all this is done, it would be nice to have met under nicer times, one where you wouldn't have to doubt my character, and I wouldn't have to doubt yours." He turned now to leave.

Normal is the ultimate insult to me by the way.....ugh normal is so gross. And Dobby, you are kinda a dick, but in that loveable kind of way that only a friend of mine could get away with lol. ((I am typically that guy to quite a bit of my friends lol. I do it too them alllllllllll the time. At least the ones I know can handle it lol.))

They typically are unless one doesn't want to be seen that way lol. I really don;t get along with most of my family members going to be honest XD. My little bro is probably the only I do every now and again. I honestly don't know how people see me though, I don;t really ask, and people don't really tell me. (( I usually don;t care though, I jsut like to have fun and share that fun with people I consider friends.))

Eh, whatever. We can all be our weird normal selves here XD. Why I love this place, can share stuff without my normal awkwardness etc. Makes me glad seeing every new person as well. This sub-forum was super small when I first got here, now it is quite a bit bigger. ((and they let this knucklehead of a Sensei be in charge lol.))

So, we walk, and the pokemon stay active, but we don't push it." Lupus said cracking his neck. "Don't be so eager to rush in, it got some into trouble before. And the last one I saw like that brought down a building on top of me and the team I was with. So I hope you aren't liek that...whatever your name is." Lupus said rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry, didn't catch it before." ((this is too Adam btw.))

XD, I see. Though I am nice to everybody. I probably don't have a mean bone in my body. ((until one pisses me off, but that is very very rare. Got to be a special kind of asshole to do that. XD)) and Jak, I probably would take forever to be able to talk to any of you if I met you irl. I am super awkward lol. Like me and people don't mix very well. Less nerves over the internet though.

I have never really done a self-insert. ((Jupiter from Graterras is probably closest...but even she isn't that close.)). While a lot of my characters have pieces of me. ((or someone I know.)) in them, rarely are they exactly like me lol. ((or that person.)) Lupus is a weird one for me though. He is kinda mopey and hangs on a past that wasn't really his fault, but he can't get over it. It is sorta foreign to me as I don;t let anything get to me in such a way. ((granted I have never had a close relative or friend die.)). It is probably why he is one of my more weak characters. ((I say this....when the most logically foreign character of mine has to be Nadia from Fate/Full Moon on here. Like complete polar opposite to me, yet I can write her pretty well.))
