"Hmm, It would seem they still have no idea we are still here. However, that won't last forever." Blue said into the their minds again. "I can't maintain this link much longer, it is straining me too much. I will keep one within Helzebeth's Mind when she awakens. I have been there a few times already so it is more familiar to me, and therefore easier to maintain a link. I will be waiting for you all on the edge of town. They think I am one of them at least for now. As the Other Illithids have left they believe I am an adviser they sent back to watch the progress and keep an eye on them. We have one chance here, I am going to draw them away as best I can and have them explain to me the process and use of the Grave Earth. You all need to make a dash for the treelines on the edge of town and hope you aren't seen by any lookouts. Once they have have given me a run-down on the Grave Earth I will make way for the South Road, we will meet at the Sorrow Spring. It is a day out and impossible to miss. Marcus, get everyone ready and then get out of there. You have little time, once everyone is ready tell me I will initiate the plan. You have no time to dawdle and certainly none to get anyone left behind. There will be no stopping once we start, and we cannot save anyone that gets left behind, no matter what. Do you understand me?" ((anyone can answer that feel free. Also, Blue already has one in all of your minds, so when you wake up you can just hear him talking, so everyone that is currently awake knows what is going on.)) Jupiter and Odin both came down to the main area now, both seeming to know what was up as they were both trying to be careful and quiet.

Also Tacos, is is highly taboo to ever attach a character to an established character in an established franchise. So the bit about being Flannery's sister has to come out. There is no way a character of that close of relation was never shown or even heard of in established canon if such was the case. It is super Mary Sue territory, and is best to avoid it at all costs. ((not to mention it is just poor form, and only ever looks like an attempt to grab power or to make a character special. A character shouldn't need to be attached to an established character to be special, and in fact....it usually detracts from the character a lot, and as such makes them uninteresting. Too many hoops need to be jumped through as a sister of a canon character would obviously be privy to info about them none of us know, and you can't really pretend to have that knowledge, it makes the character very ingenuine and feel forced and quite frankly...fake.)). It is honestly one of the reasons I hate running established universes. People always try to attach characters to big movers and shakers that have already been seen. And everytime I have to say no, because those character always end up just not being fun for them to play, and really just add strain to the group. I highly advise you consider this, because if I was still hosting this, I would 100% say no. ((also Notus if you still want me to Co-Host, I can still do that, I just can't run the whole dang thing XD. I also already know the bulk of the story content so if you need one, I already was modding for this RP so I don't need to be brought up to speed.))

Well, keep in mind that a betrayal can be under force as well. Basically, Meteor could blackmail one of them in some way where they are forced to comply and help them. I wouldn't past Meteor to sue that sort of a tactic. ((now of course, it could be of their own free will as well. But knowing the narrative so far, it isn't going to be an out of the blue thing. There will definitely be a cause for it, or some reason for it to happen. And that is waht makes it so hard to put a finger on who it could possibly be. Basically, no point in trying to figure it out now, I don't imagine it would be soemthing we cold easily guess, and even if we could it may not be under the reasons we suspect.))

My avi is totally not from Dragon Age: Inquisition and I am totally not utterly fanboying my heart out over that game. And the character in this avi is totally not my favourite and totally isn't awesome as hell. Nope, definitely not....most certainly not. And when I say definitely not, I definitely don't mean the actual opposite of that.

"Do whatever it is you will do Caster, but if it is so embarrassing, you may want to send the Boy away. Girls need a bit of alone time every now and again." She said, jesting. "And if you don't consider yourself a mage, that makes you much more beautiful in my eyes. Mages think they are so high and mighty, it is best they learn they are only maggots with powers beyond their pathetic capabilities to truly grasp that which they wield. I am no mage either, just a swordswomen who happens to have a few tricks normal people don't have." She turned to Josh for a second. "Run along now Prince make use of yourself somewhere. We Ladies have some things to discuss, mostly likely boring things that wouldn't interest you. You can read up on our foes, you are the mind here Prince, we are but your blunt instruments ready to strike with your will. Do make haste, we will be with you shortly." she said with a curtly bow. -

Yea we need to intro more characters anyway, so people who were out the first time are worth getting in contact with. Basically the main group is kinda empty right now, and it needs people so new characters are very much in order.

"Or too blind to see what was in front of you, thinking him your friend you didn't want to imagine you were hurting him in that way, or that it could be so. I didn't want to believe the men of of my ship turned against me, we swore and oath to our kingdom to defend her, we brothers few. The ones brave enough to sail into the open seas and fight the brigands and the dangers that no others could. Envy, a nasty green beast, an ugly thing that corrupts pure jealousy into something much darker. It is a thing that comes form the depths of weakness and despair, and it turns people into shadows of their former selves. The Silver Blood, a horrid gang that formed out of the ashes of what I worked to build with my own hands. They were once called the Freedom Gulls, a group dedicated to protecting the weak, the poor, and the downtrodden. However, some men saw the money in it, and decided it was worth their souls to take it from me, the thing I created to save people from pirates, well it become the very monster it fought against, they changed the name of course, still angers me to this day flying that flag giving me a bad name." Sinbad said, he spit into the dirt in front of him and covered it over. "That is what they have done to my legacy, covered it in the dirt of their souls. They cut off the gulls wings, and left him on a deserted Island with his severed wings. He fought, he found new ways to sustain himself, and cried at the loss of his wings. But he knew he had to get back on his feet. He strengthened himself for months, in prep for the long swim. He buried his wings there on a nameless Island in an unmarked grave. And then he took the plunge, he swam for 3 months to make it shore, only stopping on small islands to rest and to eat whatever he could find. The Gull one day made it back to the Golden Shores.....but that place was no longer the country he had left behind. It was a shadow of what it once stood for. And so the Gull has traveled ever since with naught but a bow and a ornery attitude. One day when the Gull makes this world the world he promised to his wings, he will return to that island, and plant the most beautiful orchids that you have ever seen.

"Calling them dogs is understating it, because they would be more akin to Dragons. The Gentleman doesn't control them they are their own entities. The Gentleman barely holds any true power over them. It might even be possible to get some of them on our side if we paly our cards right, however not this one. I don't think he is a negotiating type." Blue said throughout their minds.

Nope they all heard it, but only Marcus can answer back through his mind. The others don't feel that connection....I should make that clear in the post. ((nvm, I will just make it so they all can, but it will make it hard for Blue to maintain it.))

All the awake party members felt a voice in their heads, they would have recognized it as Blue. However, after figuring out who they were Blue set a telepathic link between himself and Marcus. "Are all of you safe? A force of one of the Death Angels has seemed to have pulled up in the night. They took people away using some sort of Magic, and well, that isn't important, all you need to know is every denizen of this town is dead already. All of you are safe because I felt the influence in my mind and I concentrated on it all night to keep you all safe. Basically, I reversed the spell for all of you. I couldn't save any of the townsfolk....their minds weren't strong enough to withstand even with my power backing them up. The illithids are gone now, but an entire mixed force is occupying this town. We have to find some way out without alerting the entire force, there is no way we can fight this many elite soldiers. These are not like the ones you faced at Brinestar, they are the personal guard and well trained soliders of the Death Angels, or The Death Wings. I had no idea they had this much of a force in The Shattered Hills. I didn't figure them to send an army to find a single artifact, but they must really want it."

"Bianca, she had lovely chocolate brown hair, and a smile that rivaled the stars in the heavens. Her eyes, 2 giant blue pools, I swear looking into them reminded me of the ocean, but not any ocean, the ocean within my soul. She walked with a grace like a being that was heavenly, an angel among the mundane. I remember her on that day, the one where I promised her I would make this world a place where one day our children would be able to live without ever having to cry a tear, that we would make it a place where Humanity could be all it could. This Angel believed in the flawed beings that are humans, she took her gaze for the heavens to look on us to share in our world. And how was she repayed? She was brutally murdered at the hands of Pirates, people I used to call comrades friends, and brothers. They were privateers no longer, only pirates who wore the flag of the Golden Coasts in spite of the country they once served. They painted over it with a giant Silver X. And what spurred them to do this you ask? They were jealous of me and my success. They saw a fool who got complacent in his fortune and they in their envy, decided to steal it from him. They took everything from, but none of that shit matters, wealth, gold, frivolous things whatever. DAMN THEM ALL!!! They took her from me, and that is all I care about, the only treasure I ever really lost. The only thing I have of her is this." he said, flipping his crossbow off his back. He pointed to a little compartment on the side, a small brass latch. He opened it, and inside was a pressed flower, A beautiful White Orchid. It was attached to some sort of hair piece, it was nothing fancy, just a simple clip to put it in a woman's hair. "That flower was her favorite, she wore it in her hair almost everyday. And when they smashed her body, I vowed to samsh theirs. But, I never did that. She made me promise I would only shed blood that had to be shed. No world can be one without crying if there is bloodshed. No matter how horrible the person, someone out there loves them, someone cares for them. They have families and lives we know nothing about. And taking their lives is not our right, we have no right to take them for the people they love no matter the reason. Revenge isn't pretty, it is only ugly. It is as ugly as the actions that inspire it. You cannot beget Hatred with more hatred, if you do...te cycle never ends. We keep spiraling in madness. More blood drops fall into the earth, more tears. The World is already too full of tears and blood, we can't add more. If we do there will be no room for anything other than bloodshed and sorrow."

SOunds of voices got closer to the inn. one gruff voice came out over the others. It sounded gruff and wild. It was defiant, mad, and brazen. It was clear the Being thought it had done soemthing great by how much he boasted. "So, Have we finished applying the Grave Earth yet?" it said. "Y...Y...Yes, sir! We have already applied it all to the grounds." said a small voice, it was probably a goblin. "Good, what were the results?" "It swallowed the people whole....after we lured them out of their homes....it devoured their bodies leaving behind their minds and spirits. The Illithids the Yellow One sent already collected them into soul gems and have left, sir. However, the magic has shorted out, and it no longer is working. However, the tests went well." "Great, maybe we really can weaponize this stuff. Hallow was really onto to something here. Need to remind that little freak she did well." he sighed heavily after saying this. "I hate apologizing, not my style." "Boss?" said another voice. "Who are you that you think you can address me pup?" "I am no one, but isn't what we are doing here wrong, how can you lot live with what you did to these people? Our races will never be free if we keep doing this, the demi-humans will always hate us." "HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK TO ME YOU FLEA-BITTEN GNOLL!!! YOU THINK YOU WILL EVER BE FREE FROM HUMANS? The only way to deal with them to is murder every last one of those gob-shites, and wipe out all their demi-human pals off the face of this planet! They will never except the downtrodden races, they see you as only a monster." BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY SIDE WE EVER SHOW THEM!!!" yelled the Gnoll. "You are sorely mistaken if you think this is the right path Ashnard." "You have been listening to Ishmael to much. That Knight is an idiot, and his ideals will never work. AND YOU ARE IN MY FORCES NOW!" "I don't care, I won't change my mind!!!" A heavy slam rattled the walls of the inn, quite a feat since they were made of solid brick. "THEN DIE WITH YOUR STUPID IDEALS!!!" Screams of horror came from the gnoll, and then the gurgles of blood in his throat and then.....silence. "Now finish up here, i have a meeting with a Ranger to attend. They say one fell into the place where the Titan's Skin lies...and we are going to have a nice long chat once I find him." "Aye, Sir!" said the Goblin from before.

alright, I will have Odin tell him in-game what it deos then. But, for now I will explain it. It is a Mace of Light, and upon the utterance of a command word, it will produce a brilliant flash of light when it strikes. This can blind a foe for a time, or at least catch them off gaurd. However it is meant for the undead. Basically the light puts them off even more than a living creature. ((powerful undead like a Lich/Death Knight/ many other powerful ass undead things are more or less only affected as if a real creature. the Dark magic that courses through these types of Undead is well, more powerful than that of the hammer..))

Sinbad finally emerged, having taken his time. Too many flashes of Bianca made it hard for him to move. But he picked up his feet, he moved them with purpose. He had to uphold what she wanted. Then he was greeted with this grisly scene. His brow furrowed. "SILENCE!!! THERE WILL BE NO BLOODSHED HERE!!!" Sinbad yelled. "Enough blood has stained this land, need we add more? It is already so full the land itself bleeds. There is no more room for blood today. We have a purpose here, one bound in fate and the fabric of the very world. And if you do shed more blood, you will make a young lady cry pale tears, do you want that? Would you want a Woman to have to cry for all the hate and bloodshed in this world? She may not be here now, but she is watching. I promised her this world would be a place where no one would ever have to cry again, that she could dry her tears one day. I wanted her to dry those pale tears she cried for humanity, I wanted them to stop hanging on her cheeks, her beautiful rosy cheeks. And then the very Humanity she believed in stole her life. You THINK you have nothing to live for? What do I have to live for? NOTHING!!! But am I going to weep and get angry like a child who hasn't gotten the lot he wanted in life? No. I have a job to do, and you here all do. None of our blood can spill on this day, because if it does her last hope for this world is gone, her pale tears will fill the heavens and hell itself." ((edit: now with sweet musics. Get in the mood dang it!!!))

((play until second spoiler.)) The Moon rose above head, it was now its turn to rule the kingdom of the sky. Its noble court, the Stars, danced at its it grand Party in the sky. The Stars were clearer in the Shattered Hills then anywhere else in the world. There were few people that lived here, so industrialization and overuse of Magic did not pollute the skies. The ones that had never been here wold have been awed by the brilliant lights that danced in the Heavens. It seemed like every star in existence flashed it's light for all to see. The Wilderness was still cloaked in darkness but, outside of the trees, a soft whitish-blue glow cloaked the scenery. It felt magical almost, as if the heavens reached down and touched the world with their holy light. It was said Lumabella and Tectaniteus were good friends, as she admired his unyielding soul. Maybe this was the outcome of that relationship between the gods, maybe this was it's mark. Hawk's Roost looked beautiful in the distance. Defiant orange lights glowed in the distance from the windowsills of the simple homes. They pushed their soft warm glow back against the whitish-blue light. They danced together in a ballet of passion, of flame and starlight. The Flame's light danced vigorously in the sky, quickly darting back and forth. The Starlight merely seemed to toy with the Fire's light. It seemed aloof, uncaring, moving to match the Fire's Light, but not matching it's vigor. Upon reaching the town, it was quaint as the next own in the Shattered Hills. The folk with simply, one with the earth they tended to. It was reflected in their homes, the thatching in the roofs, the wood in their construction, etc. The lights were still around for the farmers who were still tending to their fields, or at least packing it in for the day. The fields had to be ready for the harvests to come. Birds could be heard flapping around, probably owls at this hour. The heros met a man, a man of the land. He was dirty with the work of an honest day, and seemed friendly enough. "Aye, we got an inn. You will want to 'ead o'er to the Salt of the Earth. She be run by Old Greta, lovely ole gal she is. She will see to it that ye have yer tummies full and a good rest for yer 'eads." the man said, a piece of wheat bobbing up and down in his mouth as he talked. In the morning, it would be time to set out for Farreach, but for now the heros enjoyed their respite from their weary travels. The food was divine. Nothing like a good home cooked meal of a hearty stew and a good mead to get you back in shape after days of trail food. The beds were even better, it felt like heaven. A nice billowy cloud to lay your battered body and rest your tired bones. ((tonal shift in music.)) The next morning, they would have been awoken by the warm light pouring in through the windows. Upon further inspection, the inn was empty, it had seemed everyone had gone somewhere, as even the care-taker Greta was missing. What could be going on? It wasn't like an innkeeper to leave the place unattended. Something was amiss and it gave the heros a bad feeling. The air hung with a tension, as a small din could be heard outside. The sturdiness of the walls made it almost impossible for sound to leak through. They would have to go outside to get a further look.

[OOC] Fate/Full Moon
Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Bfroger6's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
XD, yea I assume people are just mad busy. That is probably going to make this RP very slow sometimes. It is going to chug along if people can't update since the Character very much drive the action not the Host. ((though, you can help sometimes)) I kinda want Nadia to get some "alone" time with Caster, cause I kinda want to expand upon their relation a bit. Basically Nadia wants to pick her brain a bit see how she thinks. I also kinda wonder how Nadia would react to Saber. I was thinking it over, since Nadia is a trained Swordswomen. ((self-taught for the most part, but she spent most of her childhood on it along with developing what she could of her magic. Her family was pretty shitty to her and it is why she is so warped. She never had any friends and her family tried to kill her on multiple occasion. So, Beowulf would actually probably confuse her to an extent, his tale ending when he killed the Dragon, but payed for it with his life. He did it all to save people who were too cowardly to help him. This would go against the world Nadia knew.)) I kinda want to explore that avenue more, I think it would be interesting. ((I should note, the Shadow Swords Nadia summons are based on a real sword that she owns. It is a Sword named Blank. Nadia is more of a Sword Fighter than an actual mage, as most of the magic she uses isn't truly offensive in nature, it usually just changes Darkness into another form. She hasn't had to draw Blank yet though, or at least in her mind she hasn't.)) -
[IC] Fate/Full Moon
Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Bfroger6's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Hmm, you seem very useful Caster. Clearly a powerful Mage in your life time." Nadia said. She walked over to the place where Beowulf threw his sword in the earlier battle. She looked at it in disgust. It was a rather large, clumsy blade. She used a small darkness construct to wedge it out of the wall, and it clattered to the ground. She picked it up, weighing it in her hand. It felt heavy, it made her arm tired just holding the thing. "This sword is not well balanced, it feels odd. Maybe it is meant to be this heavy. If my hunch was correct and he was Beowulf this would be the sword Naegling. Perhaps they believed this was what a sword was meant to be like, but it is not." Nadia thought out loud. She was very particular about her swords. Naegling felt too heavy too her, she didn't know why. But it was probably because it wasn't the blade she had always fought with. "Caster, this is something we should be able to make use of." she said bringing the sword over to her and Josh. She threw it on the ground in front of them.
