  1. Luck seems to be a bad stat.....it isn't, you just need to be an expert of playing around with luck without making it super duper OP. ((so either it is someone who isn't actually lucky, they have good planning skills and therefore can manipulate luck, or you use it in a way where it doesn't smother another player too much, since it is shitty if they kept getting off the hook cause they are super lucky.))
  2. I would think Macbeth's bad luck would apply to both. As in Macbeth is super unlucky, until you find out just exactly who he is, then the curse kicks in and his opponent all of a sudden has his super horrible luck.
  3. Hmm, both would be interesting for sure. ((honestly the first feels a little cheap, but eh.)) the Luck one would be tough to figure out though. Only idea of the top o' me head for now. "The Scottish King": On the discovery of Macbeth's Identity ((like saying his name)) Super Bad Luck befalls the Victim. Suddenly everything will go wrong for them, usually in such a way that will cause physical harm or death in some way or another. It can be dispelled by doing some action 3 times in a row, then spitting over the left shoulder and then uttering a curse word. Just spitballing lol. Luck is just that luck....maybe like having the thing you need close by or something. I will let the Type Moon Experts explain it better if they can, but Luck is super hard to explain how it would be useful....cause uh....luck isn't usually useful. ((High Luck would probably denote that they happen to get lucky breaks or where somebody who seemed to get lucky breaks more than they should.))
  4. Macbeth is a rather good one, since the play itself is considered bad luck on top of the legend behind it. ((all the records of stage accidents and people going missing during performances, there is a reason it hasn't had a Modern Production in a long time.)), I would have to work to get the idea for the NP though. NPs are what I am the worst at thinking up to be honest lol. I am going to delve around for some stuff, but it is a good launching point, and one to highly consider.
  5. Of course, I got my feelers out there, I am just going to look when I get the time.
  6. I personally like Berserker more for a personal character, cause I think I can pull something interesting off with it. But anything that isn't Saber or Lancer for me. Those are the classes that just don't feel like I personally can do something interesting with.
  7. That sensation of something you fundamentally didn't understand just clicking in your head. It feels oh so nice. May have to go research some stuff now, since I don't really have any ideas for Servants off the top of my head lol. ((I could always just use one that already was, but bah....that's boring.))
  8. I personally don't use the Player Avies in Battle Sims, because everyone used them in the games. They feel more ambiguous to me because of that so I don't like using them if I don't have to. I am weird when it comes to that stuff. Though I have to say I usually play as a girl in pokemon games, I just like their designs better most of the time. Not that the guy designs are bad....they just don't appeal to me very much. Probably cause they have a thing for wearing super ugly hats lol.
  9. Yes it is, think of Graterras around the Renaissance era in time. At least in places. The Land of Shifting Sands is very much Steampunk/Wild West in theme, so it definitely would cover that in the clothing department in the world. And wow, really that long of a story? Geez, kudos to you on that I guess Miss Acquie lol. If you want to continue on it by all means feel free to do so after doing the origin for this thread. ((I mean I don't mind if you don't use my OCs.....and you don't really know any of my OCs so lol. Graterras is a world where civilization gets reset every so often so stories can literally fit in anywhere in the timeline.))
  10. I will be popping into Vermillion. The Lord in Violet must live on!!!!
  11. You probably don't know me all that well since I rarely leave the comfort of my RP forum. My part doesn't have much to do with the game, heck I haven't sat down and beaten it myself yet. However, I have those games that I am attached to because they helped me through tumultuous times of my own. So I know that feeling, the feeling that even something as simple as a game can make life bearable enough that you can get through the rough patches. It is why I love gaming, it is a big part of me and it helped me to battle my depression back in high school. So, even if it wasn't as big as that, I understand how powerful a game can be, and how much they can change us. Keep on keeping on, Sharma. Reading this just reminds me of how gaming can touch people's lives, and how it is more than just a silly pastime to some people, and it reminds me of why I need to get my butt in gear. I want to go into game design because I want to make games that show just what games can be. They can be forms of art or just some mindless fun, but there has to be room for both to grow. I want to show the world what games really are, show them what this media can do for people and what this media can accomplish. Those goals may sound lofty, but if you shoot for the moon, even if you miss.....you land somewhere amongst the stars.
  12. "Aye, I'll get the supplies, then we get on the trail quickly. We don't got a lot of time to lose if we are going to find your father." Odin said. "Time is of the essence lads and lasses, we can't afford to dilly dally." The Dwarf shuffled off towards what appeared to be an inn, leaving the party to their own devices for awhile. But after a short time he emerged with a few bags of goods. He passed them out to the people with the lightest loads. The Crew would be set for a little while, having a good amount of dried goods and other trail food. It would at least take them to Farreach, without running out of supplies.
  13. Just get to it when you can Miss Acquie, there is no rush. ((considering how I know really well how easy it is to get burned out.))
  14. "We have no above ground Tangoes, I repeat no above ground Tangeos in visual. I will keep an eye in the sky everyone else get moving!" Vixen shouted over the comms. ((should note, Vixen is retreating as well, she is just trying to keep high ground to cover the escape.))
  15. "See, he is fine." Vixen said, she instantly fell back to her spot in the back of team, and started to scan the horizon to see if there were anymore foes.
  16. "The weak save no one. Making stupid rash decisions like that will only get the rest of us killed, and then no one is saved." Vixen replied.
  17. "He won't be, if he can move." Vixen said. She ignored the voice in the helmet. Those that couldn't fend for themselves weren't worth having along. She wouldn't stick her neck out anymore for the guy if they got into more trouble. If the others wanted to die bringing along wounded fine by her.
  18. "If he can't he is just going to slow us down." Vixen said, an icy chill in her voice.
  19. I am not sure I can come up with 5, but Imma try Gentleman Soul Silver Version. I like to think of myself as a classy up standing guy. I believe in honor still, and being Gentlemanly is a part of that. This is just the sprite I like the best for the Gentleman not sure why 100%, it just feels the most Gentlemanly to me lol. Blaine Soul Silver Version. Blaine is one of my more favourite leaders. This version of his sprite just looks best to me, since it isn't the scientist part of him I ever really cared about. Blaine is just an interesting tenacious guy. He doesn't even let his gym being flatted by a volcanic eruption stop him. Nope, he just moved to the Seafoam Islands and set up shop again. Veteran Female, Black and White. Yes, there is a female sprite on my list. I just have a soft spot for strong lady characters, they are just ones that resonate with me for some reason. ((hell that is why Lal Mirch is my current avator, and one of my favourite characters of all time.)), This sprite just embodies that for me, cause she is ready to whoop some ass while being classy all the while. Plasma Grunt, Black and White. Yes they looked silly in the first games....no I don't care. I loved the Knight themed outfits. Then again....if I was ever in charge of an evil corporation....you can bet my people would have super silly uniforms. Gambler, Gen 4. Sometimes, I just need a little extra luck ya know? ((in english versions they are called P.I.s by the way, but we know what they really are.))
  20. "Up here you cowards!" Vixen shouted. She had switched to her sidearm, now kneeling. She rattled off shots from her revolver straight at the Monos going for Zero in an attempt to kill them, or grab their attention. It was due to the numbers being thin that she revealed herself, since she had to do something to keep them from making mincemeat of the lad.
  21. Vixen fired off another shot at one of the smaller beasts. For now she had to pick off the ones coming at them, and hope the others had her back. She wasn't used to this feeling, so it felt off at first. But she put her trust in them for now, she had to. She had a job, and they had one. Hopefully they performed theirs, because if they didn't she wasn't looking forward to paying for their mistakes.
  22. I will let Sheep get around to it....cause no offense....but that didn't really help, cause it didn't explain anything lol.
