Well, time has passed since then things change. As I said, the older middle generation of Dwarves and up are still super bad about it, but the Newer Generations are starting to question the merits behind it. They see that Dwarves got along with Elves in the past, so they don't understand the problem with them. The Older Generations are still clinging to the wounds of long forgotten wars. What I am trying to say is, that the Dwarves are moving towards where they are now, but a lot of the older folk and middle aged dwarves are still super nasty towards Elves, just no where near as nasty as they are to Orc/Half Orcs and Goblins. ((and Drow Elves, they really hate those guys since they live underground and directly compete with them for resources.))

It does to an extant. It isn't super over the top, but they will butt heads a bit. Dwarves don't really get Elves other than Wood Elves and even they confuse them. The Dwarves don't get why Elves seem so care-free or otherworldy or why they would choose to live in the forest or above ground. Inversely, Elves don't get Dwarves living in caves and being a bruteish war-like culture. There were for sure times where they hated each other, but right now they are at a place where they would be tolerated and it is more of a friendly rivalry. ((other than Drows, Drow Elfs are super hated by Dwarves, almost as much as goblins or Orcs. Drows are seen as pretty evil, cause well, they are. They cause just as many problems as goblins do for the Dwarves)). Some Dwarves maybe a bit stuck in the old ways though, so it vaires. Younger Dwarves won't care as much, and older ones will. Odin wasn't really ever in Dwarven cities growing up, that is why he is super tolerant. Heck, Odin is a pretty accepting guy considering there is a Half-Orc, Half-Ogre, an Elf, and a Half-Elf all in the party.

"It would depend, we aren't have so much trouble out here yet, it is Farreach that is mostly. They are the ones that are having the wolf attacks. It would be best to go there and talk to Mayor Briarthorne." He said, seeming to forget about Akuma for now. "Oh, and not to be offensive, but you shouldn't show your face so freely around here sir. Others aren't as comfortable with Half-orcs as we are. Crestwood is used to all sorts passing through, the other towns are not, therefore it is best you lay low. Especially, if you ever go into the Dwarven territories. Anyway, will you be needing a guide to get to Farreach, or do you think you can handle the trip yourselves?"

Gosh dang it is hard as hell to find good avies of Lal Mirch. Like geez. Why do my favourite characters always have to be a pain in the butt to find stuff for?
-
"Um, sir, I have no idea what you are talking about, and I don't want your filthy money. What is this? A scam?" The Average Man said. Luckily, he wasn't shouting, so no one really noticed. ((*facepalm* remember what the Wizards said, average people won't know much about the Shards, if they even know about them at all. Be careful who you ask about it. This is the only warning.))

@ Exlink, I would rather keep the players at this number. I feel it works better for me. Also, it will be super hard to intro new characters without using really obvious methods, unless I get super creative. So, nope sorry, Graterras is definitely not open for new characters. Maybe if one of the current players PCs die, but even then, they get precedence to make a new character first over new participants. ((and that is if they end up dead, which there is ways to bring them back or for them to come back etc....))

And today we begin the Death Angels Arc of Graterras. ((sounds better than The Shards Arc imo.)). It is not going to be very easy from this point forward, you guys are going up against some super powerful foes, and you best remember that. If some of your characters don't grow, they could easily die. You guys won't be getting any hand holding. ((cause you weren't already.))

Previously on Graterras! Chapter 3: Darkness Revealed! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9470 The Seas were rough ever since they left Nevermore Harbour. The waters seemed restless as they kicked and revolted from something. The dark murky waters of Nevermore were long gone as they had been traveling for a few months now over the seas. Of course Bjorn was happy about this, and the crew of the ship knew it.....because he kept trying to put himself into their line up, and was constantly yelling about how they were doing everything wrong or inefficiently. At the end of the month, as they approached The Shattered Hills, the waters calmed. They were a beautiful Crystal blue and shone with the light of the sun. Whatever it was, it seemed to calm down for now. It felt like a good sign, however the group couldn't help but worry. Were the things they fought against so powerful that even the elements of the world could feel it? The Templars could definitely feel their elements reacting due to their connections to them, but it would become clear to even those who weren't connected as such that it was happening. They arrived at a small harbour town, it was a rather quaint village, with not much more than small stone cottages with thatched roofs. The Place smelled like Salt Water, so much like any port town that was this small. It didn't seem to active though, other than the crewmen docking the boat, they didn't see many other souls around. A few people here and there, but not many. It was odd as it was getting towards Spring now, surely this is what the place would be like in the Winter, but during the Spring? Something was definitely up, as the place felt abandoned, but what? A Dock Worker came up to some of the Sailors at this time. He was a rather unassuming man, rather average. Nothing about him really stood out in anyway. He was just your average joe, and not much else. "What brings you folk to Crestwood? Haven't you heard the news?" he said. This is when one of the sailors spoke up. He was an older man, bald with a small scruff of beard. "What news? We are only here for the Annual Fish Pick-Up, oh and dropping off a few passengers." "Oh I see, well tell them to be careful, there have been strange reports coming from the other human settlements around, apparently the Goblins and Orcs in the area have been more active lately. And what is worse is there are reports of Dire Wolf Attacks." "What? Dire Wolves? You mean like the ones that this Lady brought aboard the ship?" said the Sailor. "Yes, a lot like them, though they look much meaner then that one does. Most Dire Wolves wouldn't even want to be around people, so I am sure most of the towns folk will be fine with that one." said the average joe, seeing Hunter. "Oh, well that is good. Though I guess this place was always full of animals, including even crazy stuff for pets." The Sailor said. "Well the Shattered Hills are a tough place, and yet one that is the most in-synced with nature. It is only logical people attach to the animals of the land, even if they aren't Rangers. It would help them to survive." "I guess you are right there lad." said the Older Sailor, rubbing his bald head. The average Joe then walked over to the heros group. "Hello, What brings you folk to Crestwood? We don't usually get visitors this time of year since it is still thawing out."

No they are not, the Graveborn were 13 individuals changed into Demonic creatures by Mortimo tricking them all into gathering to a certain place he had prepared to change them. ((hmmmm.......a location....wonder if it will come up later.)). Echo just killed all of them. ((p.s. Graveborn are said to be Vampires....they really aren't. they are similar, but are different. Like Vampires they never age, are undead etc. However, they aren't weak to sunlight, garlic, or anything like vampires are.)) and I know of the legion stuff, I just totally forgot about the myth of Echo. To be fair my name picking strategy is very strange. And it varies Character to Character. Echo's name was picked because she doesn't want to use her Human name, so she went with something short that had meaning. ((remember the line in her backstory. She will be the last thing that echos through his ears. [thinking of changing that to Echos through his mind though to make it flow a bit better.])) other characters I just smash the keyboard, like Chauff. And some I literally find a name randomizer and keep hitting until I get something that sounds like the concept's name. That is how I named Ashnard, I wanted something that sounded strong, but a bit doofy and brash. Ashnard isn't the sharpest tool in the shed and is super head strong. and other characters I do like to make references or use words that have meaning. also, kinda stuck between 2 songs for Echo's character theme by the way. This will most likely be the one I pick though, it just feels right to me.

Yea, I should have been a bit more clear with it, so that I am sorry about dude. I changed the subject there to keep myself from blowing up at the time. ((I was in a bit of a bad mood since something I was working on was frustrating me so I got a bit snappy.)) and then totally didn't explain why I did indeed snap so it isn't really your fault I kinda felt you were blowing me off then. I see it wasn't the intent now. Hopefully that clears it up and we can put that to rest XD.

Yea Felix, it is kinda the overuse of them that is making people go nuts. ((in fact that was only reason I got a bit miffed earlier, since I perceive it as an insult when somebody only sends a picture in reply to something I say, rather than saying something to me because it makes me feel like you are saying "You aren't worth my time." to me. So it feels a bit disrespectful, at least to me. Not going to speak for the others, it is up to them to do that.)) But anyways, yea you have a point with Jelly's posts being a bit lacking, and there a quite a few Red Flags. Therefore I am going to vote Jelly. Hopefully piling some pressure onto him gets him to speak up more.

^ that is also subject to change. It is the current idea, but not sure if I want to leave it like that. Mortimo would definitely do something super underhanded to keep people in the Underworld, or to mess with them. He is definitely not a super good person and he mostly cares only about himself etc. ((This should be clear just by Echo existing, I know you guys don't know her whole story yet, but it gives you good insight into how much of a jerk Mortimo is. He tricked 13 people, that had no idea what was going on and turned them into monsters. So he isn't really all that good a guy. He plays by his rules, but he tries to bend them as much as possible.))

Yea, that is the main problem, but it is already done and over with not much we can do. I am not going to derail the entire game over it.
