It is due to the ebb and flow nature of the school, and it allows Headmasters the ability to be able to drop everything and get away for awhile. But it also allows Guards or scholar some get away time as well. I will just need to check in at the Guard's Desk, and they will let me go no questions asked." Blue said, he did recognize the emotion that flooded over Helze, and strangely enough he nearly felt it as much as she did, it was like he could feel the phantom memories. It must of been when he tried to blend into her mind, it left an impression on him that couldn't be erased. He felt her sorrow in the realest of ways, as if he had been her. It confused him deeply. He cared about her sorrow, it pained him to see it again, but what could he do? He was an Illithid, a big horrifying monster in the eyes of the general populace. It was this that made him angry, and confused. He didn't know if this girl would accept his condolences, especially after what he did to her in the first place. "You need to keep my exact nature secret though, they must not know I am an avatar of Seeker, the less that know, the better." he said, as he hid away those emotions that boiled inside him. It was harder to tell with an Illithid, as they sent their words telepathically, to get emotion from their voice. Another thing Blue thought was unfair, that he could easily hide his feeling from her, but she could not do the same with him. He had to hide this though, if she felt that anger from him, she might have thought it was her it was aimed at, but it wasn't, it was aimed at the whole of society that would not except him for what he was.

Can somebody just be a core holder? I might not really have time to battle, but I kinda want to mess around in this, I got the rupees to put down on cores. ((basically I am asking is it possible to be somebody that holds cores, and gives them out to people on the team that need them.))

"Each have their own ritual.....I am not sure your father even got to the Titan's Skin, but we can't know until we find him. It is said the ritual to activate it is only revealed when one lays hands on the artifact. It is like a phrase or something, but I wouldn't know until we have one." Blue said, started to pace a bit, he was obviously anxious about something. "Let me be frank, and I don't mean this to upset you, but your father maybe dead. I don't want to say that, because it is horribly inconsiderate, but it could be the case. If such is the case I most definitely need to come along with your group. Now, do I think he is dead? After seeing him in your mind I have no idea, he seems to be a resilient man, so he could very well be alive."

Some things also to note. Know the Scope of the RP You are Participating in. Know what kind of RP it is and act accordingly. In most cases, unnecessary violence and things of a more graphical nature are not to be done. In an RP labeled as a dark RP, or one that deals with more Morally Grey Subject matter, the rules on this may be a little more lax, in that certain things will fly, but keep in mind they still have boundaries. If you ever think something you want to post could cross one of those boundaries talk to the host about, and let them in on what you are doing. This way if you aren't sure it isn't throw into the middle of the IC when it is something too heavy for the subject matter. Along this lines, know what your Host is trying to convey as well. Know the RP is either a more Narrative style, or that is is a more Snadbox, or Open-ended type of deal. This will help you better react and understand what the host is trying to accomplish with their world. Talk to your Host. If you have some criticism, or suggestions you think would help the RP, talk to the host in a civil matter. We aren't prefect, we know that, so we can take it so long as you aren't needlessly doing something, or being plain rude, or making obvious jabs at us. If you think the host could improve in an area let them know, I personally encourage my players to tell me what I am doing wrong in their eyes, and I make sure to ask after every Chapter. This way, I improve as a host alongside them improving as players. We are all here to grow together, and it is best to remember that, which ties into my next point. Take Criticism on the Chin If somebody is criticizing how you made a judgement call/anything else, don't get mad at them. They could just be trying to help you improve your RPing as a whole. Learn to take criticism, and apply what you think applies. Use your judgement on that, especially in character related issues as you know your characters best, so you know what they would do in certain situations. Remember, none of us are perfect, we all have things to lear and lessons to take, even I do nobody is an exception. It sometimes helps to have people point out what they think you are doing wrong, becuase sometimes, you can't see it yourself. We are a community, so use each other as a resource. Ask other players, or even your host what tey think of your characters actions, ask them what they think your character is like. See if you can convey truly who your character is better, if they see differences that you didn't intend. Most criticism is here to help you or is at least intended to. Know your limits. Know when you just need help, and to have someone try and bail you out. We have all had characters where we end up over our heads and don't know how to RP them properly. We can sometimes lose sight of who they are, and talking to someone you trust about it can help you get them back on track. These will go up as you RP more and more, as you will grow more and more experienced with different kinds of characters. and lastly some parting words. Don't be afraid to try things but keep others in mind, they are trying to have fun with you, and we are all trying to grow and learn together. Never lose sight of that. Everyone here is of the same importance as everybody else, no one is more important or less important. We all need our room to shine and grow, but we need to remember that while we shine we cannot choke out the lights of others or keep them from growing. Doing that cheapens what RPing is at it's heart, and that is coming together with others to entertain, and have fun. Trying new things is awesome, but not if it comes at the expense of somebody else's enjoyment. Hukuna Sensei out.~

"Geez, this body is getting old and worn out. Hopefully Seeker gets me a new one soon, but seeing as he is busy all the time, I highly doubt he will get to that in a timely fashion. Anyway, about your father, I think he accidentally found the resting place of the Shard that belongs to Tectaniteus, or as it is better known, the Titan's Skin. It is a piece of Tectaniteus's skin that fell off during a great battle between him and Pyron long ago. It is said that the Holder can endure much more than he usually could when he activates it, however at a dire cost, what that cost is, no one knows."

"I am down here, could you help me up?" Blue said, coming from somewhere on the floor. Helze could quickly locate him, by the vibrant blue of his robe. He was laying on his back under one of the long tables. ((for reference, the desks in the class rooms are just a bank of chairs with a table that spans the entire tier of the row.)) "One of the teachers forgot his lecture book and came back for it, so I had to dive under here to avoid being seen. I am supposed to be at the front door right now, so I can't be seen. However, I hurt my back so I can't really get up on my own...." he said, looking quite embarrassed.

It is an empty Lecture hall, at least at this time during the day. It will be nearly an hour before any classes are using this room."

Thanks Flynn, most of those things are definitely important but they are more understood, but it is good to see them posted here, and maybe I should post a complete basics thread here for people who on the off-chance do not know.

I am going to say, this doesn't seem to be the type of RP where the Pokes should be attacking the people. Aftermath, one of the other Pokemon RPs here, is made to be a dark version of Pokemon, where pokemon and trainer are likely to straight up die etc. So until Chim comments on this, it is safe to assume this is the case. Hopefully, this is solved now. ((this RP kinda exploded quickly, as it has more than double the pages of replies in the OOC, than Graterras does, which has been running sometime. I am going to advise that Chim gets somebody he trusts to co-host asap, so there is less chance I have to stick my head in here.))

Well, the bulk of that was avoided........anyway, I think the posting should be held for the night, let CHim get back on and see what is going on, afterall, this is his RP, I don't want to go around making decisions that effect the flow of his RP without his consent to often. I only did here to prevent people from going at each other.

We aren't really voting on it, but I would really like if somebody would point me in the direction of where this happened in the IC, that way I can have a clearer picture of what on earth happened.

If we can solve it here, it is better. But keep it up for now, just in case Ex.

I understand that, but as a community we got to treat each other with respect. I know you are upset, and probs super mad about it, but I can't have you yelling at people, because it just hurts more feelings and gets more people in a tizzy. Just, let's try and keep this civil, for my sake, please. I have a lot of stuff to work on along side this and policing these things eats a lot of my time if I have to do it. And if there is a message about this, put me in it. SInce Chim isn't here I should be in there. I probably won't say anyhting, but either the Host of the RP or a mod or something should be there.

Alright, keep me posted though, Chim is not on, and I will not have this stuff exploding in my Sub-forum. ((and I do have authority here, I am the mod of the forum.)).

I really don't want to have to get involved here if I don't have too. So we need to have a little less yelling and a little more cooling off for a sec. Can somebody screencap me what happened and either pm me it so I am up to speed, since shifitng through al that would take a while for me. ((since I was sick when most of this started so there is no way I can read all of it up to that point.))

Question, does Chim have a co-host/other mod in this or not? I was looking over the RPs that are currently running and deciding which I need to keep an eye peeled or not, and this one is the only one I am not sure. It is exploding with popularity at the moment so I was a bit concerned. ((cause as we know, the bigger something gets the more chances something can go wrong.))

This is why I am glad I am not in this one. I don't do ships in RPs ever, period, end of story lol.

Maybe it was something he would ask in private. I think only Templars would know the exact significance of it though, as he was rather dodgey with the way he said it.
